The English language voice search system supports "Departure station", "Arrival station", "last train", and "first train" input parameters.
This allows the user to search the same set of nationwide Japanese stations in either English or Japanese using text or voice input.
The voice search functionality helps to eliminate otherwise difficult and time-consuming text input, particularly when entering the names of Japanese train stations.
At any time during or after the end of the 30 days trial period, you may purchase a usage coupon to continue using the application and enable the full set of available features.
For example, try a query like "Narita Airport to Shibuya station, last train." The search parameters will be set automatically, providing quick access to the train timetable information you are looking for.
Of course, it is also possible to specify your search parameters using the built-in keypad without using the voice functionality.
Voice search is also useful when you are in a hurry, or when it's awkward to input text using the built-in keypad.

J’adore HYPERDIA qui s’avère très utile lors de mes voyages au Japon...
Malheureusement j’ai un problème, je viens de re-prendre un abonnement d’un mois et il m’est impossible de remettre HYPERDIA en anglais... en Japonais, c’est tout de suite moins pratique!!!

Gratuite pendant 30 jours, au delà on peut toujours utiliser le site qui est tout aussi fonctionnel !

HYPERDIA en anglais est absolument indispensable pour utiliser les transports au Japon, même si son ergonomie est perfectible. Attention: elle n'est gratuite que 30 jours, donc ne pas l'installer trop longtemps avant le départ.

While Google Maps offer an improved experience in that regard. cette application has more information available regarding JR lines/Shinkansen.
But it is limited to 30 days of free usage, there’s work around though. Also the app crashes, or made my iphone crash when I went back to the app on a previously selected travel but this time no wifi available; I worked around this by making screens it's.

Cannot change the setting, even if I select 英語 in the language menu, it's still in Japanese... Not really easy to use if you do not master the language and totally useless if you cannot read it at all.

I installed the app to see what it looks like and when I opened it it tells me I have 30 day of free use... I'll be in Tokyo in 32 days for 10 days so it's no use to me an it isn't worth buying for 10 days only... Too bad
