Cracker Jack fans: in order to get Blippar to work with the sticker prize, you have to go into settings (upper left-hand side) and turn off explore mode. Then, you stick the sticker in the middle of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of white paper so Blippar can’t see anything else. Scan the sticker for the download to begin. It’s actually pretty fun!

I downloaded it because it was recommended by CrackerJack to use with the surprise inside my CJ box. Out of 15 tries it got 11 wrong. That means only 4 were correct. I don’t know what it uses to id notify things but it fails more than it succeeds. I am sorry but I wouldn’t waste my time with it. I gave it 2stars because it’s a great concept, but it really needs a lot of work.

Trying Blippar out for the first time with a Cracker Jack sticker prize and nothing is happening. I even tried to turn off “explore mode” as suggested but “explore mode isn’t even listed. So how does this work?!?!

UPDATE: got past the DOB page! The Memory game is for very wee ones. Making your own baseball card is fun for the older kids though!

Original: Got the kids some Cracker Jacks... scanned the prize inside, but Blippar gets stuck on a “confirm your age” page.

I downloaded Blippar for watching videos for Running Strong book. Blippar is not working, giving me above error, when I know I have no Internet connection issues (able to open app samples and open other Internet websites or use apps). Unable to find any help on-line. Useless.

I tested to see if it would recognize things. It got banana & onion right. But it said my water pitcher was a coffee cup, a mask from Mardi Gras was a headscarf, a can of Go Girl energy drink was a toothbrush & a pair of rubber gloves were tea. It couldn’t recognize a simple fan at all nor some feathers. All these items had nothing around them to cause any misreadings. So mind you it’s a great concept but it just plain fails.

Farted around with this for a half hour on 3 different Cracker Jack prizes until one finally worked. Major disappointment and the “digital content” was as bad as an old theme restaurant... 6 card memory and trivia. Deleted Blippar and will be more content peeling stickers off my kids’ furniture than I was with Blippar.

I found this from the Cracker Jack prize inside as many people had, but after I trying for some time, I got the game to work. Once it worked it was fun

It is able to identify objects with decent accuracy. I do miss when you didn’t need to hold down a button to scan though.

It just keeps saying “check internet connection “ while I did and it was fine as well as all my other apps worked. Just downloaded this because I purchased some Dixie cups and you’re supposed to scan the cup n watch the little monster come alive. Waste of my time

Have some little cups for kid toothbrushing. With planets and it takes you on an adventure but then when Blippar isn’t working nothing...

Now you have a disappointed child and an app blaming your internet connection.

I was really looking forward to this at first but when I got on it it just stopped and went back to my home screen and then I went back to Blippar over and over again and it still never worked I’m so mad I hate Blippar and it’s just a stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid wast of time

The review that tells you what to do for your Cracker Jack prize is great but I shouldn’t have had to read a review to figure out how to work Blippar. Needless to say the photo never came into focus near proximity and when too far it still didn’t read. I miss the old prize.

This is a COMPUTER Blippar dose very well it’s main purpose is to recognize a specified image and add AR to it recognizing other thins is extra.

P.S: Great job on doing face recognition.

Downloaded Blippar to get a Cracker Jack “prize.” In the Baseball Star game, we were able to take & share the Cover Star photo, but it froze up every time after taking the Mascot photo. :(

My 5yo loves the Dixie cup toothbrushing app! Please continue to support it, he keeps wondering what comes after the Halloween theme... hopefully there’s something on the horizon?

I downloaded and used Blippar because a running book I’m using linked demonstration video to the pages. It would take forever for Blippar to recognize the image if it ever did. QR would have been much more efficient.

Was actually able to have it work twice the past few nights before it locked up tonight. All that happens is the camera goes live with three dots - sad 5 year old who wanted to take an adventure to Saturn

If you’re using it with Dixie cups to brush your teeth don’t bother. It takes forever to load. It’s built in reward system, a coin for each time you use it, doesn’t actually remember you’ve used it consistently enough to unlock any of the other toothbrushes.
