I am joining eToro, Primarily for the $50 bonus, so i figured i would download the wallet as well go check it out. I’m going to give it the benefit of doubt, but so far reviews don’t look all that promising. Increasingly more negative—1 star reviews than 2 or three, much less so 4. No one wants to store expensive investments in a buggy app, that doesn’t work as advertised, or has been updated in years. If it has been updated, i have a recommendation. You guys should reward some crypto to rate, and leave a review. After it’s updated of course—-that’s if i hasn’t already been done. Again i will update this after i check it out and test some things!

eToroMoney has been a total failure to the point where a joke doesn’t accurately describe it. I had to send funds from the trading app to the wallet where I couldn’t send them or do anything with them for months. I contact customer service who keep saying I must be doing it wrong and need to lower the send amount to account for fees which I did upwards of 20-30 times. Upon providing them pics and whatever they needed they kept insisting I wasn’t doing it right. When I finally was able to get it to go through and got a receipt it showed that I sent it to not one but two contact addresses that were not the one I specified. Then I was told well that’s not our fault. EToro stole my funds and blatantly disregarded my issue. I recommend that no one use this company for any reason. Unless you want to just give them your money. Because they will take it anyways if you use their exchange.

Majority of the reviews here are unfair and lacking common sense. I read many of them and the problem laid in the users end rather then eToroMoney .

eToro Money is a wallet, that being said, it is NOT synced with your eToro Portfolio. You have to transfer your crypto coins from eToro Portfolio to your eToro wallet!

That can easily be done in your eToro app, you have to click on the crypto coin you want transferred and find the order/trade you want to transfer. Mind you, you transfer your orders/trades, and not the total or some coins only.

It will take about 5 business days to be transferred, kinda like a deposite from any other broker to your bank account.

After it’s in your eToro wallet you can “play” with it, sending it to binance, or whatever you’d like to do.

I really don’t get how people don’t read or don’t know how to navigate through this.

eToroMoney does what’s supposed to do, it’s minimalist and simple.

I installed eToroMoney on my iPhone hoping to put some of my coins in cold storage on my Ledger Nano X.

First I went through a head banging experience of not being able to use the Paste function in the login screen to paste my 20 chat password (Seriously, eToro, this is such basic UI/UX stuff!) and was forced to enter it manually.

Next I went through a buggy process of setting up a new wallet for BTC and one for ETH, both of which didn’t appear for a full 3 minutes after I clicked the Add button, with zero indication of what was going on.

Finally I followed the instructions they provided that stated that once I installed and logged into the eToro Wallet, I would then see a “Transfer to Wallet” link enabled in the eToro app in the page for each supported crypto I had open trades on. GUESS WHAT? No such link is visible anywhere in the eToro app. I even restarted both apps and still no dice. EToro - HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET MY COINS??

I work in IT and can easily say that whatever QA team eToro has us clearly not doing their job. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM!

I can’t even log in with my normal etoro credentials. It keeps asking to reset password. As everywhere else, I am autofilling with Bitwarden. There is no logical reason why etoro would refuse to fix the log in. There are nonsensical fees just to get crypto from etoro to their own etoro money. It’s an internal transfer and they keep skimming off the top from their own users. This would be like banks having the same level fee to transfer from checking to savings. And still in this day and age etoro thinks they can get away with it and squeeze their users.

Good luck being able to transfer your crypto. Terrible platform. The wallet and main app. Completely counterintuitive to the ways crypto are supposed to operate. Been waiting over a week to transfer my ether to my main wallet to convert it without the tax penalty of cashing out, and to avoid the dip that’s currently happening. However, because they lock up your funds for so long, I’m now out a few hundred dollars that I would have been able to save otherwise.

Their selection is terrible, their service is worse. Use literally any other platform

If you read all the reviews, you’ll notice that they pretty much just cut and past a generic response to everyone. I have an eToro account that I buy and sell BTC from. I downloaded this wallet and used my eToro sign in which worked fine. Except that the wallet does not sync with the platform so I get a note saying I have no BTC to trade. It is pretty worthless right now since all it is is a generic wallet. There are way better, multi currency wallets available to iOS. The only point in having this wallet would be to sync with your eToro account, which this doesn’t do. Cue generic response below now:

The wallet of eToro is completely useless, even in combination with their trading platform, which is quite a mess as well in comparison to the competitors. Make it easy on yourself, and go with Crypto, Coinbase and Coinbase Pro, Kraken Pro and CoinEx instead. Until they don’t rework their whole platform to be more customer friendly and until their functions are properly integrated, I won’t use them any longer. Not even a proper support line is available either, and their help section is also useless. Useless indeed!

I have been trying for weeks to withdraw my crypto from this wallet. First of all why do you have to withdraw your funds from the site to the wallet? You should be able to send your crypto to any wallet. E-toro is a massive fraud. They prevent you from ever controlling your own crypto. Anyway I cannot get my crypto off this wallet now and customer service doesn’t respond. Please stay away from e-toro COMPLETELY. Fraud, Fraud, Fraud, Fraud, Fraud. And by the way it is not my user error. I know how to drive.

Very disappointed with this wallet. I wanted to transfer my Bitcoin from the eToro platform to a hardware wallet for safe-keeping and it is impossible to do so. First of all it took me several days to transfer the coins from the trading platform to the wallet. Then, every single transfer from my eToro Wallet to ANY other wallet failed. I suppose it is a great way to HODL since once your coins are here, they aren’t going anywhere - however it is absolutely useless for anything else

How hard is this?!?
They only allow you to transfer 5 or 6 cryptocurrencies out of EToro. You basically don’t own the rest so do not use EToro unless you’re only looking for btc, eth, ltc and a couple others. Not exactly thought through... what are the product manager and their teams exactly doing over there?
Will move to trading from Gemini and Coinbase after I’m forced to sell my crypto since I can’t move it off of their platform.

This platform needs a lot of development. If you buy crypto using this platform “BEWARE!” that you will not be able to put all your coins in a wallet. Their are better wallets out there. I had high hopes for this platform because it do have some great use cases. But what is the use of you can’t put all your investments in a wallet and stake them. It’s so much money that you will be missing out on if you use this platform and wallet.

Can only transfer a few coins about a 3rd that they offer and they also require a min withdrawal of 30 I put 25 in multiple and can not get it out now and now I can’t transfer to another platform because they only transfer like 5 coins starting to like eToro less and less P.s there are fees called a spread I think it’s different for every coin just ad a few cent to price listed

Ridiculous. Apparently you are only allowed to control *certain* assets. Only certain coins are allowed into the wallet. For example, and unless I’m totally missing something here, I cannot send my DOGE to the wallet. Therefore, if I want to remove all of my DOGE from eToro I have to sell it all. I feel like they have taken MY assets hostage. We should be allowed to send any coin to any wallet we want. Should be illegal. Total fraud.

If you use eToro to buy/trade crypto, they’ll force you to use eToroMoney. You pay a fee just to move assets from the eToro platform to the wallet, which is inexplicable. The wallet itself is confusing and a terrible user experience. There are so many other exchange/wallet options out there, stay away from this one! You’re welcome.

I don’t even want to waste my time on writing review on this application but i want to give information to people who are going to check this application to invest on money. Worst platform they don’t even have sync between their own application useless developers and money eaters. Please don’t try eToro at all..

EToro has a habit of finding excuses to lock me out of my account, restrict transfers, and not have a service to support undoing their issues.

This is the wrong company to use for crypto. I recommend you get a real wallet that holds the actual coin, an account at a reputable company like coinbase, or find another path forward.

EToro is only headaches.

I have had a terrible experience with Etoro wallet. Their app did not allow me to transfer the full amount out. So I was left with a useless amount in this wallet app, and can’t do anything with it. Terrible experience, will be looking into other ways to report this.

I was planning on using this coin for my coins on eToro but the functionality is so poor, so buggy as some one else said once that’s fixed then I’ll consider eToroMoney. At the moment eToroMoney appears to be a risky thing to use. Imagine trying to login and you just can’t tap or type.

Initial release seems poorly thought out. After completing my profile in-app I was unable to sign in for some time with a reassuring message that eToroMoney was in a pre-release status. If it's a pre-release then who pulled the trigger in the scrum meeting to pull it out of UAT and release it? Even today I can't sign in and receive a heartening "Oops! Something went wrong." message.
Avoid giving them your information and don't bother creating a profile; you'll be disappointed at the wasted effort.

Best invention ever. It’s potential is unlimited.
For multiple assets investors to transfer funds into the wallet and instant conversion from crypto’s into Fx and Gold assets it’s just genius.

How am I supposed to get my crypto to a hard wallet if I can’t get it off this wallet. I would love to contact someone here for help. Trying hundreds of tiny transfers doesn’t seem right at all. I have things locked on here I’m unable to get off. This needs help.

Downloaded eToroMoney to use, created an account and attempted to sign in only to be informed eToroMoney is in pre-release status and unable to access. Do yourself a favor and don’t both downloading.

I can not access my account on the application but I was able to access the browser my user name tahhan007 What is the problem I hope to solve I live in the Palestinian territories

eToroMoney is a sham of a wallet. This is supposedly the only way to withdraw Crypto from your eToro yet you can’t even do that. Don’t bother downloading eToroMoney.
