I’m trying to link my bank; I try paypal because that’s an option. It tells me it can’t because 2fa is on (certainly not turning it off) So I try connecting Discover; that errors out. It doesn’t have my actual main bank, because that’s a local credit union. So I’m already locked out of the main use of Steady .
I decided to take a look around, anyway, since it still showed what was available. I tapped on “Make Money Now” and took the short quiz. Told it I don’t need to increase my credit score (I don’t really care about it that much) and I don’t need car insurance (I don’t drive) BOTH things still appeared in the list, so I’m not sure WHAT the point of that was.
Don’t really trust an app that seems this broken.
Oh, also decided to try the “Find Work” option; it just does a metasearch (basically it pulls information that you can easily find yourself elsewhere, it just pulls it in one place) For me, since I live in a rural area and can’t drive it’s useless because it gives me links to things I ALREADY know about. So, yeah, Steady is useless.

you know at first i thought Steady to be awesome and just the kind of help an uber eats driver during covid could use.... however after installing aspiration, one, stash, robinho od, acorns, public, varo, experian credit boost, and getting quotes from gabi.... i'm thinking it's a gimme and a scam!! yes they have useful links and info to help with cash flow but the boosters.... comeon we broke already then the fine print almost all of them you have to actually fund before you receive the boost of which i have, and out of the aforementioned, i have received 40 for the installation of one, varo it showed in my boosters and then disappeared and that suxs bc i FINALLY was able to get through their sign up process, aspiration i received an email congratulating me on the completion of the boost but have yet to see any money!!!and yes this app it's been well over the 10-15 days wait!! all of the accounts were new no previous sign on or download or whatever and yet nothing!! so really Steady is a huge waste of time and your hard earned money that like me you most probably definitely need!!! NEXT!!!!!........

Steady is a scam, it doesn’t have any personalized links to find local jobs, all it does is list generic national jobs anyone can find by themselves like Uber Eats, Lyft, etc. There is not one job listed that anyone with a quarter of a brain can’t find by themselves. I signed in and used multiple locations (big and small cities) all over the US and got the same exact BS results. Steady developers are actually making money off of ppl when they sign up for anything thru Steady using their referral link. Don’t sign up for any job thru Steady, sign up they the website’s main job sign up page, otherwise you’re just making the developers of Steady money. It’s basically a “Make the Developer’s Money” app disguised as a “Personalized Job Finder App” The developers should be ashamed of themselves for trying to scam ppl on Steady Store and Apple should remove Steady ASAP. The 5 star reviews are so fake I couldn’t stop laughing at how bad they were. I noticed my first review of Steady was taken down. I’ll keep posting the truth about Steady until Apple takes it off of Steady Store so the developers can stop scamming ppl by making money off of them instead of really helping others to find a job.

I have to give a three on this because I completed five boosters and only two were in progress but they stayed that way for over a week. Then I had to email twice before I finally got a reply and then had to submit screenshots and proof. The problem is if you click on a booster that has an app to use you go from this app to Steady Store then Steady Store to Steady so you’re not still connected to this app like you would be if you went from this app to a website and there’s no way around that. So then when your done it doesn’t even show. After my second email and submitted proof I only got one booster reward which of course was the lowest out of all of them which was $5. So I’m still waiting . If it all works out and I actually get the boosters that I did the right way and followed the directions and I get what I was told I would I will change my rating but for now leaning more towards not satisfied

I have gotten almost all of the advertised boosters except for Varo Bank, which i took all the steps and still have the stupid Varo Account cause a stipulation was to fund it and spend $25, which i did all in one transaction. I messaged customer service and expressed my concern because It wasn’t even showing up on the boosters in progress but I had the Varo account linked to the this app account and they were still offering at a potential booster. It’s like they just didn’t recognize that I had done the booster. I didn’t lose any money but I couldn’t get the booster from at this app and I won’t be able to get a varo booster from any other app, so for reason it just missed me on the Varo booster but this may have been an issue with Varo. I was “over it” and didn’t bother asking Varo but i don’t use Varo either since it never got the booster, so as long as this app and their partners do their part I’ll use their products, and I probably have done and been paid for at least 5 boosters. All in all it’s a good app and if it does this for someone else it might raise a flag but one hiccup isn’t gonna make me stop using it. So it’s so good so far!🧐

Update: They got back in touch with me and emailed me online Visa cards loaded with the promotions. Since this situation has been remedied, I will look into trying out this app a bit more.

I had been considering driving for Instacart, Postmates and DoorDash since the COVID-19 quarantine put a stop to Uber and Lyft rides. What made me decide to go for food & grocery delivery with these companies was the promotions for these three services on the this app app:

DoorDash ($30)
Postmates ($20)
Instacart ($20)

When I emailed this app Support to see when I can get these promos and also sent them screenshots of my first deliveries for each company, they responded back that I would need to be a first time driver, which, in this case, I was for DoorDash, Postmates and Instacart. I had sent them the screenshots of my first deliveries which were all done after I had set up and clicked on the promo links in the this app app.

I thought I’d look up to see if anybody else had a problem with redeeming promos in the this app app and I’m not the only one. They should build in Steady a record of when the promo links were clicked on and started. Now they won’t redeem the $70 worth of promos that I rightfully earned according to the terms in the this app app.

It’s a good thing I started with these promos on the this app app. I won’t be trying out any more promos on the this app app if this is the response they’re giving me.

I have completed several boosters for this app and made $100+ simply from signing up for new accounts, including DoorDash, Postmates, and Instacart. The payouts usually range from $10-40. My largest payout was $75! It really comes in handy. They are sure to pay you in two weeks or less, from my personal experience. Previously, you would receive a digital gift card for each booster you completed, that could be used online (or you could request a physical card). That was a bit inconvenient, especially if you were left with small amounts on each card. Now, they do direct deposit into your account, which makes the process all the more easier! I’m excited to see what else this app offers. It’s important to check a couple of times a week to see what’s available. Great job this app!

I haven’t had a job in around 6 months, I stay in a pretty rural (country) area so not many are jumping to give you a job. My mom sent me a link to this app, saying they help with job opportunities and give you a chance to do various side hustles from home to regenerate income in my home. Ever since I’ve downloaded Steady , I’ve been welcomed with 2 business opportunities! It tracks my spending, and offers better deals! It notifies me everyday to get out here and put in work! I had one problem with the reward station, but a simple email to customer service and I’ve been rewarded for simple business moves I should have known to do anyway! They want you to be excellent. And as an African American, I’m so proud that the developers of Steady are doing things to preserve and mentor our culture. Thank you.

In these dark and very bleak times we are living today, I have to confess this is Steady to have on your phone, especially if your work situation just took a walk in the plank and was sent to a black sea of uncertainty and despair. In a single 60-second survey, when my entire world was collapsing, along came this app to secure a roof over my family’s head for another month. There were no phone calls, no paperwork, no mistrusts. Help from this app truly honors its very name, and I for one will be forever grateful for the this app help they have provided. If only our government could take a look at this service and learn from it, our nation would be in a position to actually help its citizens. If there was a 10-star rating, you’d still rank as a 15-star to me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

I’ve been using Steady for about a year now it’s been very helpful in giving me a clear picture of where I am financially and is incredibly helpfulFor finding gigs and opportunities to earn money. However, very recently Steady became a literal lifesaver during these incredibly difficult times that COVID-19 has created. IReceived an email from this app stating that they noticed a dramatic decrease in my income since the pandemic started & an invitation to complete a survey regarding Steady and the invite said they would compensate me for my opinion, naturally I thought it was a scam, but it was not! I was awarded a very helpful sum of money for taking part in the survey and was able to buy groceries and keep my cell phone on! The first attempt to deposit the money into my account was unsuccessful but Jasmine insured me that I would receive the grant and communicated with me throughout the entire process until I did!I do not have words for how grateful I am for this company and your generosity that has aided me during miss time I am so grateful for what they have done and provided me with!This is a company that truly stands by their word and supports their users in teaching financial literacy and providing resources for finances! Thank you this app!

I would Highly recommend using Steady. It’s more than just an app, it’s a Utopia of finance; everything you need financially in one location. It is if all the Guru’s and go too’s came together and built the perfect home for the non savvy, inquisitive wanderer, and newbie to the world of adulthood even those who have been financially smart and sound; basically it’s for everyone and anyone who want more bang for their buck. And with the boosters you can get an extra bang anytime you want. True to their word I completed my first “Booster” and sure as the sunrise “this app” honored their commitment to the booster and crashed me out. Thanks “this app” for honoring your word and proving not everything is spam or scam. Showing us that some companies, some words, some traditions and values, and mainly some apps; still hold “this app”!

I’m new to Steady, but so far I am incredibly impressed! I believe it’s important to note that I am not being rewarded in any type of way to write this review; I’m doing it to provide feedback to users, & the developers. With that being said however, I’ve had Steady for less than 1 month, & I have already received 2 rewards: the 1st one was a $10 e-Visa...& I received it ~ via email ~ within 1 day after completing an ‘Income Booster,’ & that timeframe is so super rare when it comes to being paid from online stores/apps. Since I’m so new tho, I still have lots of features that this app offers that I just haven’t had the time or opportunity to complete just yet. I’ve been researching & trying out numerous different apps that are the same concept as this app, but none have come even close. And I’m just getting started....
I hope it only gets better from here!! I say this bcuz it’s common that when someone firsts signs up with an app, or a website such as a paid survey site, that rewards & payment thresholds are easily met & received...& then when that person is no longer “new,” the rewards, the offers to complete surveys to earn points, etc., slow to the slowest crawl, if not ceasing altogether, as I’m sure most everyone who might be reading this review has experienced. So here’s to ‘this app’ remaining at least consistent with what they’ve already demonstrated...& to hoping that my experience only gets better!!!

The this app App talks the talk AND walks the walk. The developers of this app had the consumer in mind when it comes down to being super helpful in learning about your own finances and connecting me with SOOO many resources and other apps that help with anything from student loan debt, investing, insurance, raising your credit score, loans, etc. AND THEY PAY YOU FOR IT. LEGIT. An all-in-one app that literally all you gotta do to earn is learn. Honestly there’s no downfall. No gimmicks. And any “catches” you think there are to them paying out, it’s all for the benefit of your financial future. And after all this isolation and extra govt money, I think we all have the time to educate ourselves on the things we can do to save more, spend wisely, and feel secure and stable with our finances. this app really sets the bar for being innovative with this technologically and financially sound app.

this app is a really cool & neat app. I discovered Steady on inbox dollars. Inbox dollars is a great way you can earn FREE money by completing surveys and downloading deals of the day & answering questions. Within two weeks I already cashed out on $30 through PayPal. This is including doing surveys, answering questions & downloading apps and it’s all on my own time. I ended up downloading this app through a deal of the day and it told me to download app, sign in and register with this app and I will earn $5- dollars. I said why not it’s free money. No purchase necessary. It turns out Steady serves a lot of purpose for me. I’m learning a lot more about Steady as I am still exploring job offers and boosters and how to earn xtra money. Thanks for the $5- dollars which came out of nowhere, because I completely forgot about it. It was a nice surprise. Download Steady and find out how you can earn xtra money! 👍🏼

this app offers many options for you to make an easy $5 and/or $75-$100. The quick options don’t take that long to complete while the higher paying options require a bit more steps and time to complete. I, unfortunately, can’t take advantage of quite a few high paying offers due to the fact that I had already completed them from other apps that didn’t reward the amount of money that this app does. Some of them I did without receiving a cash reward. But I’m sure they’ll add more in the future that I can actually take advantage of. Nonetheless, I highly recommend it to everyone I know and suggest that everybody download Steady and take advantage of these offers. The cash rewards do take quite a bit of time to actually show up in your account which is the only downside to it, aside from my misfortune. If they could just cut that wait time shorter, it would be the best money making app in my phone.

Back in December Stedy had released a grant for their members who had seen a negative impact on their income in the last couple years due to Covid. I signed up for the grant thinking worst-case scenario I just wouldn’t get it, well the best case scenario happened and I was given the grant in the full dollar amount! It was deposited into my account with 2 weeks of me applying & I couldn’t have been more thankful. I was asked to make a video for this app to talk about the grant & in what ways it helped me, I stated the fact that it helped me so much to jot stress about how I would pay my bills that month as I had missed quite a bit of work due to morning sickness from having a baby on the way. A person from this app emailed me thanking me for my video, and offering to set up a savings account for my baby on the way!! Today I got confirmation that my income boosters had been completed & that my payment was on the way to my account, to be seen in about 3-5 days. Money is already showing as pending. Thank you this app for all you do to help your community!

I downloaded Steady some time back to find an some work while I waited for a job to come through. I remember seeing on Steady a few claims about giving them money to those in need. Of course, I’m always skeptical of companies that say they want to do this as I am never sure if they do.

Then I wake up one morning to a few hundred extra dollars from this app! Boy was it timely! I had a couple bills that needed to be paid and no money to pay them before my next paycheck. In addition to this, my next paycheck was not going to cover all of what needed to be paid. So I thought I would have to figure out what I would go without for the next two weeks following. Thanks to the generosity of the this app team that is now not necessary. The money they gave was enough to cover the bills and then some.

It’s good to know that there is some one out there recognizing the plight of others and are trying to something about it. These guys are not only teaching others how to fish, they give a fish when it’s truly needed. I encourage use of Steady 100%

Well I would first off thank you for the chance to be able to try all these learning tools that I’ve never had the opportunity before to do. They don’t show this stuff in school. So at my age at 39yo it’s great to finally get the opportunity to use my money and learn how to invest it as well as link bank accounts, transfer funds and learn about the process and how to transfer my funds through out my accounts to pay bills or invest and make money all at the same time. The best part I can see where my money is going and getting alerts when my funds at low. And when I mess up my account locks up so no further damage is done to my account and the wonderful support team walks me through to how I need to fix it and get back on track. So I want to thank you guys at this app and my other online banking people and team for all the great work y’all are doing for my and my wife as well as everyone else who uses this to better there life. I most definitely tell everyone I know to get on board with this program/learning tool you guys have.

I’m still new to Steady , but I completed a booster thinking that I probably wouldn’t actually receive a deposit. That there had to be some kinda catch but I was wrong….once I completed the booster two days later the money was sent straight to my account and for the correct amount. I was shocked, and very thankful they actually sent a deposit instead of making me buy a gift card or something like most of the other apps. When they say you’ll receive whatever amount if you correctly complete a booster, they mean it! This really helped me out when I needed it the most, and it was awesome that I didn’t have to deal with no crap like having to wait until I had a certain amount or buy a gift card. Just make sure you pay attention to what is required to be able to receive the booster because you can easily miss that part and think you’ll be completing it when you really aren’t. Thank you this app for making it simple to earn money just by completing simple boosters and sending me actual money! This helped me out tremendously when I needed help the most. Definitely plan to complete more boosters. 😊

I was uncertain whether to try Steady or, frankly trust it. When you first open Steady is displayed, at least for me, 3 apps on Steady Store that you can freelance for and a signup section on bottom to receive more. I was pretty skeptical, especially because it wanted not only my zip, but on the next page, my name, email and phone number, something I never like to give out. I had a spam number gotten via google voice that has excellent filtering built in and can be easily turned off or removed, all for free (thanks google!) so I used that. But what I got was an amazing array of possibilities of work from home. They ask a quick survey to target your interest and desires for work, nothing personally identifiable, and two buttons. One is more info, though not a lot more than an unneeded summary anyway as the description gives most of the valid details, and the other button is the link to either the hiring page or Steady on Steady Store. And there’s a lot of content for that too. Apps I didn’t know of, businesses offering a malinials dream job (work on your own terms) online from home, and traditional jobs from big companies in my area.
For reference I’m a stay at home dad trying to find more income with 1 year old.

Steady has actually cost me money instead of helped me make or save money. They have what they call “boosters” where you can sign up for certain things such as checking accounts or food delivery services and receive a gift card from this app once you complete the terms (ex. Spend $25 on your new Varo debit card and you’ll receive a $75 gift card from this app). I’ve completed 3 boosters and have only received one gift card for $35. It was supposed to be for $75 but “amounts are subject to change at their convenience.”

Bottom line, unless you’re looking for some type of freelance part time work... do not waste your time or your money with this crap. It’s a joke and a scam.

Oh and one more thing, I’ve reached out by email and phone and cannot get in touch with anyone EVER. Terrible customer service!

Really guys? You use Shaquille O’Neal to advertise Steady ? That’s what got me to check it out and download it. I read the reviews [mostly bad] and still downloaded it anyway. Bad move. These are little side hustle type gigs which as has been stated repeatedly amongst the 1 & 2 star comments, can be found everywhere. People are led to believe they will find REAL work through Steady.
Shaq should be ashamed of himself. He’s a freaking multimillionaire yet he let himself get roped into this. I guess it’s a side hustle check for him. What does the celebrity endorsement offer look like that lures those idiots into this?
Shame on you this app for wasting money to pay a celebrity for this when surely money could have been better spent helping people who want a REAL job not a fake side hustle.

When I saw the commercial for Steady they advertise odd jobs you can do in your extra time that they put up. When I created the account the odd jobs they offer are not even theirs. It’s Postmates, Uber, the earnin app. All stuff I already know about. I was lead to believe it’s odd jobs, subcontracted from other companies like with media or photography. I already downloaded a different app that will notify you of actual live events they want you to go to and photograph if you have extra time and pays you for your time and photos. Steady is misleading and kinda a waist of an app space. If they have more writing, creative, photography odd jobs that companies need to improve their work while I building my portfolio then I can see Steady working. Craigslist gigs section has better options then Steady.

I downloaded Steady , played with it for a couple minutes and immediately deleted it. There is no use for Steady. People have access to a myriad of other reliable job search platforms. It is clear that Steady survives and runs on sponsorships, because all of their job postings are ones you see EVERYWHERE else. They are the jobs that I filter OUT when searching for work. I am referring to ride share, dog walking, online tutoring, grocery shopping, food delivery, and the list goes on.

Save your time and download Indeed.

Actually like this off until I signed up for a vera bank account two months ago based on the fact that this app offered a $75 gift card. I have had the same chase bank account for 10 years now and I have no need for another bank account but I figured why not and the gift card was obviously a driving factor. Our use the same email I followed all of the directions I used my debit card and everything and now of course they’re stating this was an “old offer” (whatever that means) and I’m not eligible for the gift card. What’s the point if you’re going to constantly harasses with text messages and emails stating to take a village of your deals and when people do you don’t honor your end of the deal???? Would really like an answer not from an email stating the same verbatim thing over and over again.

this app is okay and all but when you earn the bonuses, they take forever to get to you. I’m confused as to why an email takes 15-60 days. For this reason I don’t really trust Steady all that much. People take their time to complete these bonuses, it should not take weeks and months to receive the bonus. Not only does it take forever but sometimes you may complete the bonus offer and not be compensated for it. I recently did the car insurance quote bonus offer and did not even receive the email verifying I did it. So it was a waste of my time.

Found multiple side gigs that I can do on my own time, which I great for me to gain extra income as much as possible. When I lost my job back in June, I was able to sustain my income with Door dash, postmates, being a transcriber, and a Bird Charger. All jobs were completed around my time and my schedule. Which became convenient for me and my family. Definitely recommended Steady to everyone whose looking to make ends meet or to make a couple more bucks on top of your this app income.

I’d been hoping there was an app or site like this for a long time. Finally, I can find jobs based on where I am and the distance from me because I can’t move until my lease is up anyway. I love the activity feed that shows local job listings. Everything is simple and easy to use. The survey is much appreciated because it takes things into consideration that even a lot of well-known job sites don’t.

I was a little skeptical of Steady at first. I downloaded it, completed two offers, and ACTUALLY got 35$! (One offer was 25$, the other was 10$) It takes what seems like forever to receive your reward, but it’s worth the wait for FREE. Both of the offers I completed did not cost any money, they were completely free and painless. To be able to make some extra pocket money with this app is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I will continue using it to do so. It’s revolutionary. I’m not sure why more people aren’t talking about it!

I overheard someone talking about Steady & decided to check it out, cause I wanted to make extra cash. I signed up for the Postmates booster & went out to make deliveries (which is actually not that bad) & I just received an email notifying me that my reward is on its way as a virtual visa gift card 😁😁 which is great since I do most of my shopping online 😝 I would definitely recommend, cause even if you have to wait for it, you’ve got money coming your way & it’s the holiday season right now so I can really use it 😅

I gave this 5 stars because Steady is nice and people don’t post 1 Star reviews. It should be a 1 STAR!!!! Based on the customer service.

I’m really taken aback. In the reviews lollpip208 was upset and wrote “Only show me only jobs 30+ days old and Lyft and Uber applications.”

The Developer Response was, and I quote, “Thanks for taking the time to download our app! However, we don’t have Uber, Lyft, or old jobs on our platform so we’re not sure if you’re commenting on the right app - you may be thinking of another one.”

So I thought hey, I like extra money why not.

First job was Uber Eats and the first job under part time was a season position for Christmas. It’s January and they usually hire those before the season ends.

Yes, I took screenshots and if I could post them here... I would. Honestly, services like Lyft and Uber fine and I expect them to be on every job board everywhere. Especially on a app/site that lets anyone post jobs. My problem is don’t lie and don’t act like someone is incompetent. Especially when you’re customer service. In the words of Red from that seventies show... well you know the quote.

Honestly this could be a good app and a great thing... but I’m sick of companies not taking responsibility and blaming their customers. I say, screw them and go with another app. If they don’t care enough to tell you the truth... why should you care enough to use their services.

So far this has been a great sourcing app for extra work and income ideas. Everything has been on the up and up and there are really good bonuses for initiating some of the job sources through this platform. 5 star so far! good work on this one! I continue to look for other streams of income and this helped save time searching and reviewing etc.

This is regarding the SoFi requirements. So please get it right. We still have not received our money for SoFi account. We did not have to open a checking account, only an investment account for $20, not $100. So please check this records fir the correct information. Because the information you provided is incorrect. I still haven't received anything and I've been waiting for a while now

Well I am writing a review because I am unhappy I went in for a credit boost supposed to receive $75 I completed the goal at hand and still have not received my money it’s been a while fact 75 bucks who wouldn’t want that I do that’s why I did it OK so irritated and mad that they are not honoring what they said they would other than that I’ll probably delete the app and never trust him again
