Loses Fares

I’ve used Passage a few times now and on multiple occasions I will buy a fare and see my card get charged, but then the fare is not available for use and never shows up. In addition, the purchase history is totally blank and never shows any fare information. Very frustrating when you’re standing at the bus stop with no other options and so you are forced to purchase another fare and hope that it works this time. In addition, there is no response from customer service when this happens. I recommend all Transit users stay far away from Passage.

Would prefer to use my PayPal account over putting in a credit card number.

I would rather not have my credit card info on my phone. Suggest you allow payment via PayPal.

Very Buggy

Passage would be fine but lately it’s been very very buggy. I can’t even tap on the activate button or even scroll down without Passage just crashing. Trying to get Passage to work while the bus driver looks at you like you’re trying to scam them is not a great experience. I bought my tickets, all I’m asking is for Passage to let me use them.

Recent update buggy

Ever since last week’s update, I keep losing my tickets and purchase history. Was told to logout and log back in to correct this issue. Wish I had known this earlier before having to purchase an extra ride ticket. Reached out to online chat help but have not received a response on my request for refund.

I already left a review before about my all day pass being gone within a hour of usage and now not only did it happen again but now Passage is crashing whenever I purchase a ticket now I can’t go to work.. Passage needs help and I want to get my tickets back

Passage keeps crashing & 1/2 the time bus drivers in my area don’t accept Passage as a real bus pass.

Passage has taken my tickets twice and it’s really inconvenient because I’m asking for help and it’ll take 24 hours for a response that doesn’t do anything and then twice as long to get a reply next time I just need to ride the bus

Very bogus help center

I received a student buss pass from my college and i have been trying to get help by sending messages through the help center for almost five days now and there has been zero response and no assistance at all.
There is no point of having a “help center” if there is no “help” being offered.

Recent Update Eats Tickets

Once Passage switched from “HopThru” to “this app” it eats up tickets despite them being in the purchase history. I logged in and logged out for the purchase history to even be visible. I have wasted so much money already trying to get paratransit rides for a disabled family member. Fix Passage!

I love this app!

I was so happy when our transit system started using Hopthru for ticketing. It makes things so much easier. And Passage is so easy to use!

Passes Disappear

I’ve purchased passes for both ways more than once. And each time I’ve bought more than one ticket I loose them. When I look at purchase history there is nothing there. I’ve wasted more money on Passage then I have on any other travel app before.

I have bought all day passes and have them glitch out and then have to buy another pass to make up for the one that glitches out and doesn’t work.

TICKET PURCHASE GONE

I BOUGHT A TICKET JUST BEFORE LEAVING HOME AND IT DISAPPEARED FROM APP. I was forced to buy another one while in line to get on ferry. My purchase history doesn’t show in app either. I have screenshots and video recordings all about this time with Passage and my bank. I will contact my bank for refund.

Ticketing is seamless with Passage. Forget your cash?? No problem.

Tickets disappear, sometimes right after you buy them. I logged out and then in so it is now showing in my payment history but still no ticket.

Out of business?

I’m a very infrequent user but this doesn’t open for me anymore; just shuts off. Last update was a year ago so I’m guessing this company has gone down the tubes. Don’t bother trying to load Passage .

Passes just randomly disappear which is frustrating when you need them urgently. Avoid Passage if possible.

Great app but..

There should be more clarification on what specifically is accepted in terms of the San Francisco Bay Ferry. Although Passage may help speed up the clock, there’s nothing here telling customers everything they need to know.

For example. For Oak/Ala services, customers do not always know that tickets get checked at their destination so they activate their passes early and they expire before their tickets actually get checked.

More importantly, what should be addressed is that these tickets do NOT work for Ballpark services at the Oracle Park (long story short). As the year picks up, there will be a lot more business and the last thing wanted by anyone is confusion.

I don’t know how other services work for Passage, but I think everything should be made clear for every option given.

Hopthru app doesn’t work 😭

Im a daily passenger w ent in the bus didn’t accept my pass because it was suppose to be going in circles but mine was flashing had to pay double the amount for my ride when there was no need 🙄

Incredibly easy to use. I hope soon my guests can buy individual rides on the Seattle monorail using Passage too!
