It took me a while to find the right agency, but TokenTransit seems to work like a charm. I bought passes from the incorrect agency twice and was refunded both times; a very nice move, that I didn’t have to suffer from my mistakes. The first time I couldn’t find my agency, so I just found a description that kinda fit. The second time, I choose the correct (ADA) service of the agency, but from what I have experienced, using TokenTransit is as simple as bringing up TokenTransit and displaying your ticket. Each ticket lasts 30 mins so I can get it ready as soon as I see the Transit pull up. I haven’t looked up what to do if your phone dies, or if you lose it; those would be good to know.

Token Transit works smoothly and quickly for me. When our small local transit system offered free rides, I had already activated a day pass. Just two phone calls restored my money to me! The dispatch center for the bus gave me TT’s number, and I left a voicemail with my name and explanation. Most kind!

I also appreciate that this free app is a boon to our transit system, which is a public service with a lot of expenses. Here is a way to simplify collecting fares, that has no additional equipment needed on the bus! I hope more counties will implement it, for the benefit of riders and transit budgets, too.

The updated version 4.3.1 Everything was GONE! Even the bus pass, that I just recently purchased last week. ($65). Nothing had transferred over. I was frustrated to say the least.

The customer service is a chat, in an email based form. No number to call. So I didn’t know how long things would take until they got resolved. Alex was the rep who assisted me. Alex was fast, friendly, & efficient. By mid afternoon, everything was restored, even my bus pass. I was surprised & grateful for how quickly things got resolved. A special thank you Alex, for helping me out.

I’ve used the Token Transit app for nearly a year now and I love and appreciate the convenience. Purchasing passes takes only minutes and the comfort of not having to scrounge for cash and exact change is a godsend. Their customer service is superb as well. A month after I began using TokenTransit , I got a new smartphone. I emailed customer service and they assisted with transferring my pass to my new phone in minutes. If you regularly use public transportation and are in one of their markets, do yourself a favor, download and use TokenTransit!

This very simple iOS app is new to Sunline. I was able to download it and buy a bus ticket in less than 5 minutes. A fast download, it’s easy to install, and convenient to use.

If I didn’t have exact change to ride the bus I’d look for an alternative means of transportation. I strongly advocate using public transit to reduce the man-made harm to our environment. TokenTransit has made it more convenient to ride public transit! If I don’t have exact change I can purchase a ticket with TokenTransit.

I don’t like that u can’t just buy a child pass without buying an adult pass I have a benefits pass but I have to buy a student pass and I would like to have it here so it works when u need it, but if I don’t buy an adult pass I have to send off for one in the mail. Please change this.

I downloaded TokenTransit for my son to ride the bus. It eliminates him having to have exact change and gives me the option to pre-pay bus passes for him. The customer service is great as well! My son activated a pass because he saw the bus approaching the stop. The bus didn’t allow passengers to board due to maintenance issues and he ended up not being able to use the pass he activated. I called the bus agency and they gave me the number for Token Transit. I left a VM on a Friday evening and received a return call the same day. They credited my son’s account.

I live in Oklahoma and I accidentally used 3 passes I bought for the for the river cruise thinking I could use them on the water taxi on the canal. My father did the same thing all by accident. Token Transit helped us out and refunded the passes that were never actually used. Phillip was great and helped out a lot. I used some passes on the trolley and they are quick and easy. I look forward to trying out the actual river cruise next. Thanks again. Great job.

I’ve been using token transit for a while now and I’ve never had any issues with TokenTransit . It’s actually very easy to use. But since this morning for the first time when I purchased a ticket, it confirmed the transaction and I can see it in my bank; however, when I went to open TokenTransit to show my ride to the driver, it wouldn’t open. I tap on it and goes blank! I uninstalled TokenTransit and installed it again but the same problem occurred. I’m not sure what else to do as I rely on TokenTransit for my fares.
I would be grateful if you could assist me with this!

I love the convenience of being able to buy passes on the fly and not have to carry cash or tokens any longer. The performance of TokenTransit has improved since I first tried it when it was first available for our transit system. Purchasing additional passes is fast and easy. Any time I’ve had an issue, the developers have been very quick to respond and resolve. Great app!!

I love the Token Transit app! It beats having to look for spare change every morning to get to school using the bus. This morning, I accidentally bought 2 day passes and was directed to text Token Transit rather than call & i was helped with outstanding customer service within the same hour. Would recommend

Thank you so much for the refund, it was a total accident to purchase 2 more, it’s much appreciated. Now I know how to purchase them correctly. The drivers are still getting used to it, but I’m sure they will pick it up fast. Otherwise I really enjoy the bus ride and the Schedule is perfect. And 99% of the time, the bus is on time.

TokenTransit makes it easy to locate the fare and make a purchase. When I had an issue with an old expired payment method (invisible from my side), it was easy to send a message for help and get the issue cleared up.

TokenTransit gives you no information on how to actually use it and expects you to know that there’s other agency options available. Please include at least a brief tutorial or a statement showing that you can tap the agency banner at the top middle to select which agency you want to travel with so people don’t waste money on useless tickets.

Does what I need it to do, but would like an Apple Watch version and also, sometimes, TokenTransit closes out and switches to my Apple Pay instead, which is irritating.

App works but service is non existent, so essentially it’s useless. Waited 50 min for an ART bus that was supposed to come every 20 min. No updates, no notifications. And you have to pre pay with no refund. We could have walked and gotten there way faster and with far less angst. I would recommend finding an alternative transportation method. Uber, Lyft, walking…

We were unable to use our bus passes and when I saw the contact service number to text, I thought ,”I’ll never get a real response. “ I was wrong. I got real service and it was great. Super easy to use TokenTransit !

The company, Token Transit, sent me a text message to fill out a garbage surgery for TokenTransit , so here you go. It is against all texting rules from any US based company to text anyone prior to them opting in to receive text messages. I never opted in. In addition, their text didn’t have any of the required steps to unsubscribe from future text messages. The account they use to send unsolicited SPAM texts should be canceled immediately.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt which could leave you stranded somewhere if you dont have cash in hand to pay for the trip. Needed a single pass, i kept purchasing and it kept telling me it cant connect to server. After it finally connected to the server, i had 3 passes purchased on my stored passes when i only needed one.

TokenTransit is super easy to use. I had to cancel after making a purchase due to becoming ill and received a reply to my text that confirmed a refund. Really appreciate the ease and give a thumbs up!

Make sure to allow cellular use. I almost asked for a refund because TokenTransit was working with WiFi only. Other than that it works really well.

I can only bing my phone and go out. I purchased a wrong pass and the customer service person actually paid for me a new pass.

TokenTransit is really helpful, no more worries to have cash or change to use the public transportation.
The Tech support is great. Solved my problem as fast as it was possible and efficiently.

I had a slight glitch with TokenTransit and actually lost a pass I text the support and not long after I had a response and they replaced the pass I lost! Great customer service!!
