This is a wonderful app. The scanner device allows my son to be in control of his progress without mom nagging 😂. The orthodontist is encouraging and can tell when my son isn’t brushing as well as he should (because Mom doesn’t know…🙄). After submitting a scan, my son looks forward to seeing if he can move on to the next aligned or not. I love not having to be in the orthodontics office every time you breath (like I did with my older son)! And although the treatment was excellent with my eldest, I think this treatment is even better with the scans and feedback from DentalMonitoring .

I download DentalMonitoring last week and an update yesterday. I went through the set up procedures and the full demo. On the home screen, when I went to take my first scan, the home screen is lacking the features (button(s)) to start the scan. There are NO buttons to do anything. I cannot scan my teeth. Again, I have done all the tutorials and a demo scan. My Home Screen does not resemble the one shown in the tutorials. It is blank. I tried removing DentalMonitoring and reinstalling DentalMonitoring with no change. I don’t think the doctor’s office can fix a software/app issue. How does that get fixed? My phone is a 12 Pro and I tried it on a 12 Pro Max, both of which have the latest iOS (15.1) installed. I have uninstalled it multiple times and reinstalled it, no luck. Please fix it.

Wow this is really amazing technology and saves me a ton of time… I just think I just saved in an hour and a half every time I do a scan instead of going into the office! I love my orthodontist but it’s great to be able to see him remotely for all of these small checks… Incredible that my teeth are being checked every week; I can’t imagine the quality getting any better and I have been a patient at several different orthodontic offices but bar none this technology blows everything else away

I absolutely love that I can do these scans myself on my time frame, and that my orthodontist is able to check my progress whenever is needed with out me going into office every 4 days.
Love the reminders from DM when I miss my photo date. When time gets away from me a reminder is texted to me that I need to go and do these photos.
Love seeing my progress as well.
This is such a well thought out app for my orthodontist and for patients to be able to see orthodontic progress themselves.
DentalMonitoring is so user friendly.

I have been using DentalMonitoring since September 2020. Early on it was quick and easy to use. I was able to do it in minutes. With this new update, though, it is not user friendly at all. There is no reason that an app used for orthodontics needs to be updated and changed so much. I only use it because I have to and now I barely have time to fit it into my day. Not to mention the fact that I can’t get my old scans off the home page. I am forced into looking at my teeth while my scans take ages to upload. I used to have a Samsung phone that would upload in minutes but with my new iPhone it take well over 15 minutes to upload. Please fix this.

I have used DentalMonitoring for almost two months now. I loved how easily I can use it because of the simple UI/UX. Thanks!!

But I have noticed three things missing:

- Notifications: I am doing weekly scans and have only got one notification so far. Not sure why. In addition, it would be nice if there is an option to customize the time & date for getting notified.

- It would be nice if at least three scans are used to create the progress comparison, instead of two. This will give us a better comparison. So maybe adding one recent scan in the middle would be great.

- When sending messages, one word text like “Thanks” takes the screen width. It would look better if it takes the appropriate space.

At first I thought this was state of the art technology until I noticed the morphing function doesn’t update after each scan. I’ve asked several times for an update and apparently the main office is in France and not here in the US to get things fixed. After several trays, the morphing function to see those changes compared to previous movement isn’t working properly. I’ve asked my orthodontist and he referred me to the company directly and I still can’t get resolution. I give it a 2 because this was the feature I was looking forward to the most and it isn’t working.

Sending Scans of my teeth with and without my clear aligners can be hectic but through DentalMonitoring it’s easy to use with clear and concise instructions make it so easy, fast and painless. Every week, I get updates directly from my orthodontist to update me on my progress and are available 24/7 to answer any questions I may have. Recommend for anyone and everyone that chooses to have Invisalign treatment.

My twelve-year-old began aligner treatment and we have greatly enjoyed being able to scan and upload her progress from the comforts of home. The only con that I would suggest is that it takes a few times to get the rhythm of the scan and my daughter has had to retake scans often because she went too slow or too fast. It would be nice if it was easier to follow a pace. That is the INLY reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5.

DentalMonitoring is so helpful to me through my Invisalign process. It so great because instead of going in every 4 weeks to get my mouth checked I just quickly scan my mouth once a week and I’m done! I’m so glad I was introduced to DentalMonitoring. Also, if anything ever breaks(bracket for example) you can easily message your doctor through DentalMonitoring to let them know what happened. Overall DentalMonitoring is very useful and worth downloading!

I think DentalMonitoring deserves a 5/5 because it makes it so that you don’t have to go back and fourth to the orthodontist. This helps me and my family because we are not very close to the orthodontist. DentalMonitoring also deserves the 5/5 because it is very easy to use, you can message your orthodontist back and fourth, and you can how much your teeth have changed in a little video!

This is an awesome tool to view patient progress and quickly care for our patients when concerns arise. There have been many time when a patient had a question and we can explain or walk them through a correction by being able to visualize their bite in that exact moment. Love the update as well!

The technology of the scans works great. There seems to be some technical problems with DentalMonitoring it’s self though. I was unable to create an account and after several calls to the support center, got no help. I also tried to email the support center from DentalMonitoring , the link doesn’t work.

I’ve been using DentalMonitoring for the past 12 months, and it’s been SUPER helpful and informative.
That said, with greater user adoption and use, I’ve seen video upload times increase DRAMATICALLY, from once taking 30 seconds, now to taking 10 minutes. Time to invest in some additional resources!
What’s more, the past two times I’ve submitted a scan, DentalMonitoring still tells me I’m late. What gives?
Some updates are sorely needed.

I’m on tray 5. DentalMonitoring works awesome. No issues at all. Been keeping trays in for a minimum of 22 hrs a day. I water floss after every meal. I brush 3 times a day. Been super smooth. The system is easy and made at 3rd grade level so I think anyone could easily work it. If your not sure you can ask question. They get back within a day. Been nice. Very nice

I can’t imagine anyone going through the aligner process and not having a weekly check-in. The feedback and communication I receive have been prompt, and very helpful in my progress. Makes me feel like I’ve got another professional resource besides my dentist.

Tracking the progress and knowing that I have a scan coming up keeps me accountable to stay on top on my aligners. I have been using it for a month and feel like it has made the process so much easier. I like my dentist but glad I don’t have to do checkups as frequently!

I’m a working professional, so I find DentalMonitoring allows me to see my orthodontist on occasion without having to give up precious work or family time.

Very easy to use, and it guides you through every single step even in those times when you think you have it memorized!

This is the chosen app my orthodontist selected, so I don’t really have a choice. However, I love how user friendly it is. It’s almost impossible to make a mistake with the guided scans and I do enjoy being able to see progress with its little items like “Number of GOs in a Row” and the progress scan video.

DentalMonitoring makes taking scans seamless and very self-explanatory. I love that there is the ability to review scans. The double tap feature on each screen makes the scanning process under five minutes. I really could not ask for a better user-friendly app.

So you do this scan in advance of automatically switching trays. And sometimes you jump ahead a few days. Long-term this pushes your finish up. That aside, it’s pretty easy to do and takes a few minutes. Within a few hours your orthodontist is in touch with a review of the scans.

I have been using DentalMonitoring for a few weeks now and it has helped me tremendously on my progress. I have advanced in my steps faster than projected and it allows me to also see the progress in real time. My teeth have gotten closer and my smile brighter! I love DentalMonitoring.

Great idea for an app. BUT almost impossible to get a good scan using back end of camera with a mirror to see if screen is green or red. Common sense would suggest you should be able to take scans with the selfie side of your device so you can see the screen better to more accurately capture a scan. Please update DentalMonitoring to allow use of both sides of camera on devices.

I’ve found DentalMonitoring super easy to use. I love the easy-to-use Scan Box. The feedback from the orthodontist is helpful and they reply really quickly. My treatment is going along very well and DentalMonitoring makes it easy to stay on track!

I really like DentalMonitoring and being able to send my Dr pics from the comfort of my own home. I like the feature that show your teeth movement progress. My only complaint ( reason for 4 out of 5 stars) is that I can’t send the Dr a reply or a quick question.

I tried to email my issue with born and after not updating over a month and the email address they have under “contact for feedback” did not work.
It is a little disappointing when users cannot even contact the support with issues...

I am so pleased that this scan machine works so well and is easy to follow the instructions. And this is so much more economical than going back to the dentist weekly

It would be good to be able to send a message to provider with number of aligned being used, how many days it has been worn for and any other comment

Scanning can be a little tricky but it’s very convenient. I enjoy seeing the changes happening between scans. Getting the Dr’s advice is helpful.

I’ve been trying to submit my scans for two days now and they won’t upload or they say blocked. I have no issues on my end with internet and I’ve contact support multiple times and have not received any responses.

Great way stay on track. Also great way to hold accountability on the individual. 👍🏼
