I’m not the demographic that Zimela is designed for. I am however appalled at fellow non-Black people jealous that their lives aren’t bad enough, offended that they didn’t get an app to help them, ignorant of how difficult it is being Black, particularly female. (I’ve only met one Black female coder in 25 years) Heaven forbid one of them write something to help the situation, because it might offend a white person’s delusion that there’s no racism. What pathetic cry babies. Go write an app that helps people if you want to do something good in this world. Or shut up and go back to playing Fortnite.

By the way... for the commenter who said Zimela is racist ?!? How exactly !? You could join ... although it’s promoted for black women. In the country that I was born and raised here in America where history was built off of Racism and continues in many ways, .. this apps dose a whole lot for me ! And no matter what race you are I’m sure if you join, it will for you too ! Just join Zimela !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Zimela and project so much!!! Love the interface, and even though I am not an IT gal I’m definitely recommending it to ALL my friends! This is something that is going to be useful for young minority women fresh out of college, trying to find various opportunities and mentors!

Although I am not a Black Women, this is a very needed app. Every student that I show Zimela that I know would personally benefit from Zimela loooooves it. Not only is the content beneficial to them, but the fact that it was made by two Black women provides them

I just downloaded Zimela and am sharing with my daughters to use as a resource.

After being prompted to choose my interests I found a list of four organizations—all based in California. When I clicked the icon for half of those, Zimela crashed. When I clicked on settings, Zimela crashed. On further attempts to open the settings, Zimela offered me the option to log out. That’s it.

Unfortunately, Zimela crashed immediately after inputting my information and signing up. After trying to reopen again repeatedly, it simply opened for about one second and then closed again. Hopefully it can be fixed!
