I really want to love it but it needs more features

As someone who loves Waterllama, I was incredibly excited to see there was a new app for breathing exercises; dealing with an anxiety disorder this sounded like it would be a perfect fit! After downloading and starting my free trial, however, I discovered quite literally all it does is a single feature: 5 deep breaths with an icon of your choice on the screen. While the price for subscription is not incredibly high, I still hoped that for an app that is asking people to subscribe it would have at least a few extra features, possibly other breathing patterns to help with sleep or with being alert, or even just some mindfulness exercises. As BreatheMeditationMindllama grows I will be excited to see the additions, but in its current state I can’t see myself paying money to use this product.

Love this!

It's a simple, small but nice app. Originally I was inspired by the cute cartoon characters and I love the smooth animations and music that goes with them. I use this to take breaks during the day and it helps so much. What better way to calm down is there that breathing with a cute llama for a few minutes lol? I haven't used the sleep feature that much, because I normally sleep very easily, but with the other good features, I have no doubt it's great and It'll be my first choice whenever I need help.

Great App!

I don’t use BreatheMeditationMindllama all the time rarely ever, which is weird considering I pay for it but I do have to say this is the best app for breathing and just general anxiety and stress I have seen in a long time I suffer from heavy anxiety and probably a couple of other things but this salve when I need, it has been very good and if you do get it and pay for it, be sure to add a lock screen widget makes it so much more easier to use hats off to every developer for BreatheMeditationMindllama and Waterllama as well

I love this breathing app!!!!

I fiend out about BreatheMeditationMindllama after using the The Waterllama app. The widget on the Home Screen has been most helpful. I find because of this widget I do my breathing several times a day. The animation of the cute animals and sound affects are very well done. I also like the inspirational quotes. I only wish that BreatheMeditationMindllama had challenges like Waterllama. Once again BreatheMeditationMindllama is helpful in reminding everyone to just take several deep breaths to relax.

Cute but.

This is a cute app. I wasn’t able to figure out how I got extra characters, even though I completed my tasks every day, but that’s not a big deal.
The reason I deleted BreatheMeditationMindllama and only gave it three stars is the only way you can have sound in BreatheMeditationMindllama is to have the ringer turned on your phone. I’m not a “turn the ringer on” person and never have been. No other app on my phone requires the ringer to be on…except maybe Waterllama - but I don’t use that for sounds.
Willing to try it again when the sounds aren’t reliant on whether or not you’re a ringer person.

Love it! Add more apps!

I have been a fan and used Waterllama since it was created, I’ve loved seeing the development and progress of the developers. I’m so glad there’s so many more apps now and this mindful app was exactly what I was needing! I can’t wait for the new futures and hopefully an app for food tracking because that’s the other aspect of my life. I would love to use another app from these developers! The challenges make me inspired, the graphics are the main selling point!

Sometimes it’s the little things

Waterllama has probably been a lifesaver for me. I’m perpetually dehydrated and I’ve tried several different reminders to get my hydration in. I’m a flight attendant and with the business of travel and service work, it’s so easy to forget or just not take the time to hydrate. BreatheMeditationMindllama also helps with keeping track of drinks that don’t hydrate, such a bonus. The Waterllama makes it fun to hydrate and complete my daily goals. Thanks, Waterllama team!

I love these developers!!!

I have both the Waterllama and Mindllama apps. Both have amazing interfaces that are easy to use and understand. Mindllama is the best app I’ve found just to remind me to take some deep breaths when my stress and anxiety get the best of me. Thank you so much for creating BreatheMeditationMindllama!
Future idea: add in different breath styles (like in yoga practice)
Distant future idea… add a connection to apply health/garmin connect?

Breathe In, Breathe Out

Honestly, I have not experienced anything except breathing in and breathing out with BreatheMeditationMindllama. Reviewing what little I know about it is supposed to unlock more features. I suppose that it feels good to take a moment out of my day to be mindful and focus on breathing- but Apple provides this for free. Currently, I’m enjoying a free trial of BreatheMeditationMindllama; if this is the only feature it has to offer, sadly, I will most likely cancel before the trial ends. It might be a good idea to unlock more features before asking for a review?

Great app, wondering about if I can use my purchase for Waterllama for this too.

BreatheMeditationMindllama is good if you want a nice app to pause and take some deep breaths. I don’t have much to say because BreatheMeditationMindllama asked me to review it right after I used it for the first time, but I think this can be a great app anyway. I don’t like paying for apps, but I did a one-time purchase for Waterllama and I am wondering if I need to buy it here too or if I can use that. Anyway this is a good app.

Nice App!!

I have all the llama apps! Every single one fails to disappoint! A good idea for an app is a sleep app to track your sleep With a llama as the bar and every time you track the wanted hours of sleep the llama starts to fill. like the water tracker llama app. If you want to be extra a deep breath thing for if you have had a long day. I have done research that taking a few long deep breaths help provide more vivid dreams and help with sleep.

Panic attack survival!

BreatheMeditationMindllama (and its widget) get me through my severe panic attacks. It's like having your very own breathing coach on standby in your pocket 24/7!

There is a scientific link between breathing and the fight/flight response that is triggered by our Vagus Nerve. Breathing like this stops the cycle even better than medication - all without those nasty side-effects.

I am a single mom and middle school teacher. I am familiar with stress! I recommend BreatheMeditationMindllama to EVERYONE.

It’s just. Wow

Ok I NEVER get breather apps but I have all the other “llama” apps so I figured I would give it a whirl. And I am shocked BreatheMeditationMindllama os way better then any other breather apps I’ve had normally I hate them because they didn’t help me calm down or anything but this one is just amazing the characters are so cute to! Mine is the cheetah right now I love how customizable it is! If your considering getting BreatheMeditationMindllama, you should 100% get it!

Great potential!

I love how the layout of BreatheMeditationMindllama is similar to Water Llama. But it’s missing the challenges that unlock the characters! I will use BreatheMeditationMindllama for sure, but the challenges are what help me remember beyond the notifications. Maybe have challenges to take 5 deep breathes at least three times a day or something. Streaks would work here too. Obviously BreatheMeditationMindllama is still in development, and I know much more is to come. But please add goals, achievements and challenges to keep it fun. Love your apps!

Mindllama is amazing!

I’ve never used as app like this before because they always seemed too complicated. Mindllama is different. It is easy to use and you can set reminders to take a moment to breathe. I work from home and it is easy to lose track of time because it is so quiet in the house. Mindllama reminds me to take a break and to breathe. It is a great way to reset my focus!

It’s pretty good!

I like BreatheMeditationMindllama a lot, and it’s characters along with the way it functions. The characters are super cute along with being colorful and dynamic at the same time. The only problem I have is that I wish it had lessons or another way to manage your stress levels. Breathing is a great way to manage your mental health and state of being but, if we had some sort of lessons or videos we could use that would also help a lot too.

I am a big fan of the lama apps like Pinkllama and Waterllama. I love this one. I never believed that taking deep breath’s calmed you down, but it does. I just wish they included breathing challenges maybe games and awards but I get it they are still working on it. 😊I also wish you can have the option to pay once like the other lama apps and not pay per month.

Just WOW

I download BreatheMeditationMindllama not really thinking I needed it but now I can’t live without it. I do my mama first thing before I sit up in bed and it’s amazing how my day has changed because of it. I also have a hard time sleeping, so I’ve started using it as I lay in bed trying to get my brain to stop. Just those 5 breaths that me and my mindllama take changes how I fall asleep.

BreatheMeditationMindllama is adorable and really makes me want to take a little time to breathe and relax. Keeps me Breathing Properly

So many of us shallow breathe and don’t get enough oxygen in our bodies. BreatheMeditationMindllama reminds me to breathe, relax and reflect on what I am doing or thinking. I also have the water reminder app which I added to my Apple Watch. Fantastic together because our bodies need two things, hydration and oxygen to be at our daily best.

Minimal, Cute, & Useful

I’ve been using Waterllama and loving it for about a week. But when my girlfriend told me there was a meditation app by the same makers I was immediately sold. Mindllama is a very attractive app with its minimal UI, cute animals, and smooth animations. The thing that really sold me with BreatheMeditationMindllama was the widget. Tapping on the widget, I assumed would take me straight to BreatheMeditationMindllama but to my surprise, there was an animation within the widget and a sound effect to go alone with it. That interactivity within the widget is something most apps are lacking in their widgets. Well done to everyone on the Mindllama team. I’m excited to see what you do next!

Mindful breathing

I like this because I’d like to start using in my preschool for calming down techniques I teach the kids. I wish there was at least a free option for 1-3 breaths with the free llama character. But I’ll still be using the 5 breaths for a start and see if they like BreatheMeditationMindllama . Thanks for making this so cute and easy for them to see the character breathing in and out!

This is an amazing app that you have made, I really enjoy it! It helps me out a lot with my sleep and stress. However, there is one thing I don’t really like but I totally understand why the developers would want you to pay for almost everything. The developer group is small but you, the developers, have made such amazing apps. Hopefully someday once your crew is bigger, people won’t have to pay for almost everything, and same goes for Waterllama. Overall though, it is an amazing app.

Looking Forward to This!

I’ve never had success with deep breathing exercises. I’ve tried counting, box breathing, any well known method I have tried. And none of them worked because none of them were able to distract me from my self-consciousness and I would always focus on doing it right or wrong. (I have talked to counselors about this, and it is a real thing.)
Being able to watch the llama as it moves up/down to guide breaths in/out is the only method where deep breathing made me less anxious instead of more so. Its an image that takes me outside of my own mind. Genius.

Great Beginnings Start Small

Personally, I have two big goals I want to achieve for next year to better myself and grow, but in order to do that I know I need to build up to it overtime. With that, BreatheMeditationMindllama, along with the Waterllama and the red dot tracker llama, is the small steps I’m trying to take to reach those goals. I’ve been looking for an app that helps me with breathing exercises and relaxing before bed. I’ve tried many different apps and all of them were too complicated for what I needed and eventually stopped working/helping, I decided to give this one a try because I love their water intake app. BreatheMeditationMindllama is simple to use (which I love), it’s straight to the point, and it helps with more things than just relaxing before bed.

After using Waterllama for quite some time and loving it, I purchased a lifetime license to Mindllama readily. The same outstanding design aesthetic found in Waterllama is found in Mindllama. Awesome. I was curious if they have any plans to add additional functionality so I reached out to their support. Super fast response and it turns out they have all the functionality I could have asked for on the way shortly. I’m glad I made the investment.

Use It Everyday

Even without BreatheMeditationMindllama open, practicing everyday to help relieve my anxiety helps me remember to use the techniques when I’m feeling overwhelmed. I will breathe in the car, at work, at the grocery store, or anywhere that I’m suddenly feeling stressed. It helps so much. I was so stressed that I was experiencing neck pain because I tightened my shoulders all of the time. Now I am much more relaxed, my neck feels so much better, and my shoulders actually feel a bit tender because they are finally loose. Keep being awesome Mindllama!

Great especially when in a hurry during chaos!

I was really going through a lot of things and had a lot of pending items and I was pressed for time and everything was so chaotic. I got a little notification to just take five breaths. I clicked on it and that’s all it was. I didn’t have to do anything else I didn’t have to wait for pop-ups. It just gave me the five rests reminded me to relax, and it really really helped me during a stressful time. Very good for de-stressing.

You can set up multiple presets and they even have breathing technique suggestions based on your goal, like focus, de-stress, panic, and relaxation. The characters you can unlock are adorable. The dev team is super responsive and wonderful to chat with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a simple and effective app for breath work.

The Amazing App of Mind-fullness!! (And a question)

BreatheMeditationMindllama is so amazing I can’t even comprehend it! 😊

I have lots of trouble falling asleep, let me tell you that. I got BreatheMeditationMindllama for sleep, but, you know what? I started using the breathing meditation too! Although, who wouldn’t? It’s amazing, fantastic, and GREAT!

Can you change your goals after you picked them? I realized I might need this for procrastinating, too…
Is the team planning to add more sleep backgrounds/themes? Also…
Is the team going to add more characters? If so, then I’d like a dragon! 🐉🐉🐉🐲🐲🐲

TBH I don’t generally write reviews, but I’m kind of impressed by the simplicity of BreatheMeditationMindllama . Most breathe work apps require 5 taps or better, before getting to the actual exercise. I love that, as soon as I open BreatheMeditationMindllama I’m one tap from starting. Super fast and easy to start, and the animations make the experience feel gamified in a way. You don’t need to set aside a half hour or better to focus on your breathing either. You set up your defaults and within a few mins, you’re relaxed and back to business. Very well put together.

Holy Llama! Meditation made cool.

With cute, colorful characters and an assortment of background colors and scenes, taking a moment to breathe and relax has never been easier or more fun. I discovered BreatheMeditationMindllama shortly after the Waterllama app which makes staying hydrated so much fun. (Additionally, these apps are the creation of a Ukrainian team and an option to make a donation in various amounts is available at Waterllama for which you can receive a unique additional character.)

Want to get the subscription

BreatheMeditationMindllama is AMAZING. But there’s not much you can do with the free version, and frankly I think that despite the other reviews, UI could be simpler. It was hard to find my way around and sort of confusing. And the lifetime subscription was WAY more expensive than the Waterllama one, which doesn’t make sense.

Now that we’ve got the bad stuff outta the way, let’s talk about the good stuff (everything else) I love that the widgets are interactive. I came here through Waterllama, and their widgets are interactive too, which is great when you’re on the go. I love you can do a breathing exercise OUTSIDE of BreatheMeditationMindllama , so if you’re feeling stressed at school or work you can just quickly tap your widget and then take some deep breaths. Really like the sleep one.

I just wish you would make the subscription a lil bit cheaper because that cost more than 2 years of the Waterllama Hero Club.

This App Has Made Such A Difference For Me.

Genuinely use it every day at work and whenever I'm trying to de-stress or regulate in an overwhelming sensory environment. Inviting mix of sounds, and-- my favorite feature-- animated characters and backgrounds that give me something to focus on when I'm trying to concentrate on breath.

They move just enough to feel alive and calming, like they're body doubling you into the correct rhythms.

Averted many panic attacks/meltdowns this way.

My only wish is that there was more functionality in the passive/background modes: widgets/lock screen (I wish it was animated as well) and that there was a dedicated mode for active focus/study, but I can see why those might be prohibitive, and splitting up my "breathe" settings for this purpose works as well.
