Android native app is crashing EVERY time I attempt to open it on Android A52 56 1. Click on Slack icon. App starts to open than crashes 2. Click on Slack icon again. App starts to open than crashes 3. Message displays "Slack keeps stopping" with options to see App info, close app, or send feedback (I have sent feed back at least 20 times 4. Send Feedback. App closes 5. Click Slack icon again THIS TIME IT FINALLY OPENS. I am able to see all channels and respond. As long as it does not time out and I keep it open I can communicate. However, once it times out, or I close it. I have to go through step 1-5 all over again The app is NO LONGER alerting me that I have been tags (no sound). This started about a month ago. PLEASE FIX THIS !!!!!!

The iPhone app will not work. I’ve deleted it and re downloaded it 10+ times and each time I go to login, the app force closes. Any suggestions on how to fix this/what’s happening?

I cannot use the app (I'm on Ubuntu 21): every single click is followed by `"Slack" is not responding.` the after a few seconds (about 10) the click takes effect. Writing a message is just impossible. I can use the web interface but I cannot join huddles.

How to fix Slack app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Slack app on iPhone
Update Slack app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Slack iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Slack on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Slack network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Slack Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Slack not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Slack App
1. On android, goto Settings » Slack » click [Force Stop]

Update Slack to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Slack App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Slack » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Slack.

Fix Slack unable to contact server/ Slack internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Slack » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Slack » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Slack
