Need ability to download for off-line viewing.

I LOVE the magazine and have no problems with HawaiiMagazine . The only thing it needs is the ability to download for off-line viewing. We will be traveling to Hawaii in April and I would love to be able to read/review the magazine during the long flight without having to pay the fees to utilize wi-fi on the plane. PLEASE make downloading available.

Used to love it

I used to love this magazine. Couldn’t wait for the next issue to come out. However, since the pandemic hit, it has become Honolulu Magazine, with far too much content about lawyers, first responders and Honolulu real estate. I wish I could suspend my subscription until it is back to being about all of Hawaii. Disappointed.

Need to delete old version to update

Last issue posted was March/April 2017. I wanted to log off and then log back in to see if that would update but there is no option to do that. I deleted HawaiiMagazine and reinstalled and that fixed the problem, latest issues were now there.

Frustrated

Purchased a renewal subscription through HawaiiMagazine twice now and have not received a single issue, yet you have my money!!!

The best mag !

Thank you for the best mag about the best place!

Wonderful app for kama'aina and malihini alike

I do not read much in print anymore, so HawaiiMagazine is perfect! We moved to the mainland a few years ago for a job promotion and I do enjoy this magazine - even though it really is more touristy. And for the reviewer Hamertime - there is an option in the subscription option to enter your current subscription info. So please check that option out. I am sure you would have given a better score.

Doesn't work

Used HawaiiMagazine for over a year and then it abruptly quit loading both new and old issues. Emails from Pacific Basin claim they are working on a vague IT issue with no date of resolution. If you subscribe, you'll have to read about Hawaii in physical form only for the foreseeable future.

Great App Idea… not fair to long time subscribers

Hawai'i is my favorite magazine and I look forward to every issue. I have been so dedicated to the publication that I normally renew my print subscription as soon as possible (for multiple years). I also access the web site frequently. I was extremely excited to see PacificBasin creating an app for the iPad and iPhone but was disappointed that you have to buy the subscription again. Since I save all of the back issues, I cannot justify having two subscriptions to the same magazine. How about a special deal for existing subscribers like other magazines? PLEASE!!!

What's up with current subscriptions?

I have been a subscriber to this magazine for about 8 years and received an email that it was now available for download. Each time I click "restore purchases" I get taken to Itunes login. I'm going around in circles. My subscription has been identified, my account number has been identified, yet I cannot download. I also subscribe to Honolulu magazine and get my automatic downloads each month without a hassle. I think that the developers had better work a solution to this, else Hawaii Magazine will lose a long-time subscriber.

Great magazine

Great stories, photography, can't wait to my new issue every month. I don't understand all the negative reviews, when I go to see a movie in a theater I don't get to download it for free. I paid for the movie!! Why do I have to pay again? Same thing here.

Great magazine with all Hawaii stories. Felt like I was there again!

Fun informative stories with a real insiders secret feeling.

Very Bad, and Can’t Unsubscribe

HawaiiMagazine will not load half the time. When it does load, it freezes on a load screen and does nothing. When uninstalling and re-adding, it functions the first time, but does not allow me to remove the auto renew subscription that it keeps billing me. I’ve requested refund and feedback from iTunes, but no word yet. FCC is hearing from me asap if I don’t get this resolved and my money back.

Crashes and won’t let me log in

Hard to see the value in an app that won’t let me log in to actually view my subscription. Every time I try to log in with my name and account number, somewhere in the log-in process HawaiiMagazine crashes. It then goes to the Newstand screen, which would not let me swipe up to close HawaiiMagazine . I had to power down my iPad to clear it. HawaiiMagazine needs work.

Ridiculously horrible

I wanted this as a secondary source for my PAID paper subscription. I tap the icon on my iPad and it immediately opens to a magazine, no login page or directory of any kind, just a magazine. Oh, and it's in some freaking foreign language. There's no way to back out of it. There's no drop down screen. This is moronic and a giant waste of time, energy, and memory. I wish there was a way to give this negative stars. DELETE!

Print subscription doesn't count

Doesn't matter if you're a print subscriber, you have to pay again to download issues. A lot of other travel mags let you download issues if your a print subscriber. Give your loyal subscribers a break!

Cannot buy subscription to magazine

I attempted to purchase a one year subscription to the magazine and HawaiiMagazine crashes when I am filling in the name field. Very frustrating! From another review it is a known issue and it still has not been fixed.

Hawaii Magazine

The iPad version of the magazine should be available at no charge to current print subscribers. I shouldn't be asked to pay for another subscription of the same magazine.

Don't waste your time

Downloaded app to get the latest month. Every time I open HawaiiMagazine I get the Japanese version and it won't let me go to any settings, let alone purchase a magazine. Horrible

New update doesn't work!

I log in to Hawaii magazine, it accepts, and it is frozen on "Loading folios". What is that?

Then I tap on library, it says cannot update library, connection to server failed.

Worthless app now

No Aloha

Another disappointed print subscriber who will not pay twice for an on-line version. Give print subscribers free access - we have already paid!
