Quotes and pictures are fine but I paid $2.99 for the upgrade and I can't send a particular picture with quote to another person when it's needed. What they send is the plain quote in little black writing, NO picture and and big link to BuddhaBuddhismQuotes500 Store to get THEIR APP! - Selfish app- makers here- why did they think I paid for no adds?? I'll certainly be requesting my money back. Buddha-like they certainly are NOT.

...but could be so much better if the developer would get rid of the grey band that the sayings are in. This really detracts from the lovely background photos. I find this situation too annoying to give it any more than two stars. This has to be easy to to do and it would be so much better!! BuddhaBuddhismQuotes500 should be about the photos as much as the sayings. So, why don't you fix this?

1. A way to get daily timed notifications for a quote
2. There are so many quotes, categories and more content being added would be fresh
3.music and background would be fresh as well

It’s ok , but more boring that others for the reasons above. Right now out of 4 apps like this I would delete this one first, but it has potential.. One way to make it A cut above the others would be a way for the user to add their own quotes or in some other way customize the experience.

While I love BuddhaBuddhismQuotes500 for its positive qualities, as a scholar of the Buddhist cannon (the nikayas) it is hard to ignore the fact that many of these quotes are not actually a part of the Buddhist religion, and have no actual root in the cannon of Buddhist scripture. I cannot say where they come from, but I can only comment that amongst the Theravada Buddhist monastic community we have had a good laugh or two at the inaccuracy of some of these 'quotes' that actually cannot be found to be words spoken by the Buddha. As a dedicated Buddhist this ap uses loose interpretations at times and does not really go in depth. Which is both good and bad. Good that it can points the souls to research and study if interested. Poor in the fact that some "some" of the passage are not done justice by simply stating them.

What would move BuddhaBuddhismQuotes500 from good to GREAT is putting more space between the ad buttons on the bottom and the arrows that move you forward or back. I don't have fat fingers but still find an annoying ad or app opening up when I've gotten to close to the bottom of the page. I'd rather be reading the wisdom of the Buddha than having to navigate out of an ad multiple times.

Great quotes whenever you want a moment of inspiration. Wish I could copy and paste them into an email but doesn't work on iPhone 6.

I see another reviewer sends them to her daughter. I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. Wish I could.

I use BuddhaBuddhismQuotes500 every day, and I also send these quotes every day to my daughter. I'll come back throughout the day and look at it and meditate on that they start from Buddha. Great app, and I wish more people would get into him with it. The world would be a better place.
