Ive used Fyde for months now, with a break now and then, over various incarnations of my iPhone's OS configurations. Im not a network admin by any means, but I'm not you ordinary end user either. BarracudaCloudGenAccess was perfect to introduce me to a basic look into some of iOS's network chatter, more specifically, server contact. The best part was that I was able to right up front block stuff that had no business communicating or sending requests. And BarracudaCloudGenAccess plays nicely by itself in the background, no babysitting necessary. Furthermore, Support right from the start was patient and responsive. In general I highly recommend BarracudaCloudGenAccess to everyone... unless you are a network admin.

The only things I think Fyde should consider is being a bit more power-user friendly. Or, rather, be more specific and less vague when it comes to technical aspects. For instance, I have no idea what kind of requests are being made, what the client process is (or isn't), what kind of connection, what protocol.. But I realize that BarracudaCloudGenAccess's simple user friendliness serves a greater purpose; *Anyone* can use BarracudaCloudGenAccess. The more people who are introduced to the concept of Infosec, hey, the better!

I have used many anti-software applications in the past. But every single one that I’ve tried had some sort of flaw. But BarracudaCloudGenAccess has truly impressed me. First of all, it is very simple to use and straightforward. There is absolutely nothing complicated about using BarracudaCloudGenAccess. Secondly, it actually works and does not put on a fake front like some other apps do. Third, when you read the description it tells you that BarracudaCloudGenAccess is free, it really is. I have not seen a single pop up nor an option for an in-app purchase. And the best part I think is that there are no advertisements for anything. None of those annoying pop-ups. None of those ads that stay on your phone throughout the entire application. It is 100% advertisement free. In a nutshell, this is the only antivirus app that not only has your best interests at heart, but is also flawless. I’m definitely sharing BarracudaCloudGenAccess with everyone. Great job developers. Great job indeed.

My congratulations to the developers of this security tool. I have been in security for over 30 years, with Cisco, PWC, IBM and Accenture, and seen the progression of security products. BarracudaCloudGenAccess looks very well thought out, and it is easy to install and use. Information is readily available, if I choose to investigate something it has blocked.

I would hazard a guess that most consumers have no idea how much data mining is done on their devices without their knowledge. You should really give BarracudaCloudGenAccess a try and start educating yourself to the security and privacy risks you are exposed to just by virtue of using your mobile device. BarracudaCloudGenAccess is a tremendous value to blocking those vulnerabilities.

Developers: If you guys ever decide to make this even more robust, I for one would be glad to pay a fee for continued security reporting features and additional security checks. Keep up the great work!

BarracudaCloudGenAccess and its performance has decreased significantly. Many trackers and other obvious beacons,embeds and 3rd party redirects are getting through. I agree with another reviewer that if you go to list and try to block it shoots you back to the top and that is most aggravating and seems like an obvious block put in by Barracuda? Also of note when you block a domain now its not unusual to see that the next time you encounter it it has not been blocked (shows as GREEN) and when you open the line it says blocked inside! Ad blocking not as good either. What happened?? So Disappointing! I have had Barracuda/FYDE since it’s inception. It is simply the best for mobile protection. It updates itself and threats are apprehended every day. I know from experience when I block a connection Barracuda evaluates it promptly and adds it to the threat list for the whole community of users. They are on top of all types of threats daily, hourly, the way cyber intel MUST be. Great Success!! Keep up the outstanding work!

BarracudaCloudGenAccess has changed my iPhone life!!! I now can actually use my phone in peace. It actually blocks even the worst of the worst malware & browser redirects. Obnoxious ads & tracking were also draining my battery completely each day despite my constantly deleting the TONS of abnormal cookies that would appear each day on my phone & occasionally having to disable java. I love you FYDE!!! On a side note, I did initially have to make small tweaks in settings so that Fyde would have its’ push updates ready everyday (so that periods where it would appear not to work didn’t occur). I also looked at the list of sites that Fyde blocks & Added some to the list. All in all, a GREAT app. I look forward to y’all blocking phone calls too because I’m sure carriers will not be able to do that effectively. GOLD MEDAL , 5 STARS!

I recently signed up for CBS all access and when I try to stream tv episode I receive fatal error. I have found that I have to disconnect the VPN with Fyde in order to allow the streaming. And i have to do this each time I want to watch something. I have sent a message to support and have yet to receive a reply. Otherwise I do love Fyde. So please fix this.

I downloaded this because when I would go to news sites I kept getting those iPhone user pops up. And could not read the article. This has stopped them completely I even had a think pop up telling that adware blocker was preventing me from utilizing the site fully. This told me it was working. However and maybe it is new. When I have been pulling up websites in Edge and Safari I am getting those iPhone user pop ups. My guess is that they are new and just need to be added under the blocker. What info can I send to show you what I am getting to add it in your data base? BarracudaCloudGenAccess is awesome.

I was having problems with malicious sites and suspicious tracking. I was doing everything I could to get rid of the issue but I couldn’t as I was a broke kid and didn’t have the money to do so I never knew how threatening hackers are and it drove me crazy and kept me up at night I then had the great idea to search for free vpns and thank god I found fyde. Fyde is a LIFE SAVER the provide top notch watch services without stealing the information they give to you and for a free app with no in app premium purchase crap BarracudaCloudGenAccess is the stuff. Nowadays on the other internet you here stuff about surf shark and other vpns that force you to but premiums but BarracudaCloudGenAccess does what those do for free. I implore you to get BarracudaCloudGenAccess and save the money and let fyde do the work for you. Thank you fyde

BarracudaCloudGenAccess used to be great especially for reading online articles and etc, no ads not worries about suspicious links but all of a sudden that stopped, recently ads have been showing up while BarracudaCloudGenAccess is running. Not only that, I have noticed that Fyde app hasn’t stopped any ads from popping up and this is just the start, I am honestly very worried about the other things it blocks and how it could randomly stop, like spyware and etc, I would deeply appreciate it if the devs would contact me anytime. BarracudaCloudGenAccess is great and does the job just wish this wasn’t a problem

I opened it to run and it would not work and it would not let me get off of it because i would not give permission for it to access my vpn..I had to turn my iPad off just to get out of BarracudaCloudGenAccess .. and it actually took my vpn completely off of my iPad including BarracudaCloudGenAccess itself and I had to get another vpn app and BarracudaCloudGenAccess put a lot of ads on here that was not there before..it really messed up my iPad and I deleted it..I installed it again and now it works great, I think that there was a virus that attached to it and tried to take over my iPad..if this happens to you,just delete it and then download BarracudaCloudGenAccess again..

I can’t tell you how please and secure I feel having this on my phones. This is actually my 2nd phone line I have this installed. I legit can’t wait for new products and I’m shocked this is actually free!!!!!!! I kid you not when I say BarracudaCloudGenAccess is beyond amazing. My mind hasn’t been at peace for the longest time since I was hacked and tracked when my entire network hacked. And no I do not work for this company just Incase you’re wondering and no I do not know a single person that works here. I just came across BarracudaCloudGenAccess while beyond desperate trying to find help/solutions and I’ve never been happier. A must have for sure

BarracudaCloudGenAccess has worked quite good since I got it and does block lots of advertising server connections. I also see that I am getting less advertising in some games that are loaded with them typically.

This being activated does seem to cause some ad supported games/apps to crash at times since it blocks certain connections. Which I am fine with since I don’t want my data being sent to places like that. Seems to work exactly as advertised and I like knowing that I have somebody working on my side to block these kinds of sites and connections.

Training to be a Certified Ethical Hacker I have access to incredible monitoring & forensic resources and I like Fyde for my iPhone. It truly is a no maintenance app. I like that it records & saves all traffic “allowed” & “blocked” so I can analyze it later & make adjustments if needed. So far I have not had to adjust any Fyde managed traffic. They block what needs to be blocked & allows all the rest. Identifying icons displays the type of threat for each traffic request. Open up your online bank app & Fyde pops up and tells you they’re on it while you banking. A must for every personal phone.

BarracudaCloudGenAccess simply works as said. It blocks almost all ads and protects you from online criminals. The best feature is that it blocks ads on all apps. BarracudaCloudGenAccess itself is very stable and always works without any problems. I have found that many of the other Adblock apps tend to be buggy, but Fyde runs smooth no matter what.

One of the feature I would really appreciate in the future, is to be able to choose the blockers from a wider range of available lists. And even add custom blocking lists. It would make BarracudaCloudGenAccess perfect.

For a year I thought Fyde was somewhat useless. I mean it does block a lot of click ad type stuff and well it’s a free app. I didn’t expect much. But today I was on Instagram and clicked on one of those Instagram commercials and it blocked it. Like literally slapped the malware out my phone. Thank you for that. So I’m giving you 5 stars cause of the VPN and that you and your team are looking out for us with phishing sites and what not. Just please be kind when data mining our info.

I am very impressed with how fast it worked onto finding suspicious websites or ads. It is only my first day using and I gotta admit I’m very happy with the results and I’m not likely to review apps at all! It already blocked 32 possible malicious websites or ads and I’m in deep relief to have found BarracudaCloudGenAccess in the first place! This is a great app and I’ve downloaded plenty from BarracudaCloudGenAccess Store but BarracudaCloudGenAccess here is by far the best one I’ve downloaded. Easy to use and it does exactly what it says it does and it’s totally free with no adds. I just recently got BarracudaCloudGenAccess and I’m amazed at how it’s been working and preventing unwanted sites, adds and other fraudulent activity from accessing my device and information. BarracudaCloudGenAccess is so amazing, if your needing a app to protect your iPhone, iPad or other devices make sure you download BarracudaCloudGenAccess you want be disappointed.

I’m so shocked that they have all the features available in BarracudaCloudGenAccess for FREE! When I first read BarracudaCloudGenAccess description I automatically assumed it would be a $3.99 a month for life subscription app. When did we move from $3.99 once to monthly forever???

The “100% Privacy Protection” is misleading albeit superfluous in correlation to zero-logging (I know it doesn’t state that, but 100% privacy protection would be as such); there’s a contradiction with their privacy policy, stating that Fyde does not collect personal information, nor store or sell it, though your privacy policy objects it: “We collect information about the mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version. We also collect other information that your operating system may provide, such as mobile network information, carrier network information, gender, location (city/country/continent) and IP address.” etc.
I wish it held true to such privacy and encryption.

Well I’m here to tell y’all that BarracudaCloudGenAccess does it right for protecting your iPhone for free. You can pay too but for as much as I use my phone, the free version is just fine.
Other VPNs and safe guard apps out there kept me from accessing websites and apps. I always had to turn off the safety features to use my phone. Which that just seemed nuts! Talk about backwards!! So BarracudaCloudGenAccess is the perfect fit for me! Keep up the great work! Brilliant!

Love to have fyde watching my back and for this reason I have rated this 5 stars but right now I am having an issue with it sending a notification when I test it....dont understand why, as it has worked since I downloaded BarracudaCloudGenAccess and for some odd reason it’s not now. That is the only thing I have concern with right now and it is not a deal breaker because everything about BarracudaCloudGenAccess is totally awsome and is working fine other than that one small issue !! Thanks fyde for watching my back and hope this can be figured out !

Sat on her tuffet just surfing the web away when along came a spider that sat down beside her and tried to scare her away, until Fyde came along and squashed that spider and kept it far at bay !!!! Thank you Fyde for saving my hyde...cant thank you enough and if anyone should call you fake, you will always have someone like me telling them how wrong they are. I think what you are doing is awsome and everyone should have BarracudaCloudGenAccess on their phone...malware,trackers and any others critters coming along will not survive FYDE 🥰 absolutely love you guys and gals !!!!

Have tried several different VPN services. All have slowed down/halted connecting with the common sites I try to access. BarracudaCloudGenAccess has not had that effect. I have installed it on all of the iPhones users phones for which I provide assistance and none have noticed any problem with BarracudaCloudGenAccess .

I use the exceptions tab to block an occasional intruder and have not had a negative impact in my phone/internet usage. Great app.

Well thought out app overall. As a user, I’d like to see which of my apps are calling the endpoints that Fyde says it’s intercepting and blocking.

Two stars because of the practices disclosed in the privacy policy. At time of writing, the policy blatantly states that the developers will hang onto some of my personal data after I delete my account (which requires emailing their support rep?). Very concerning given the nature of BarracudaCloudGenAccess (security, VPN) that GDPR compliance isn’t on the radar? The FAQs say the service is free, which means they service is .. my data. Sigh.

Happy to update and hopefully reinstall once the basic legal terms are nailed down.
