But the constant reminders to rate EricomAccessToGo are annoying since there are only 2 options, "rate it" or "remind me later" which means "annoy me now or annoy me later".

The killer missing feature is the ability to export the address book (or host list or whatever you call it) but also include the option to export the address book *with* the passwords for those times when you're replacing/upgrading your phone like I did recently. Every other 3rd party RDP application for Windows includes this functionality so it would be awesome to have it here. Also an export with passwords but protect the encrypted exported file with a password so you can't import it without the proper "master" password would be nice.

I appreciate that EricomAccessToGo doesn't force me to use my Google account just to gain access to an RDP session. I'm using it to manage several Windows 2012 servers at work, and the only difficulty I have encountered is that the icon used to reveal the management bar for EricomAccessToGo is sitting right over the spot that you have to click on in Server 2012 to reveal the charms menu. It takes very small fingers and pinpoint accuracy, of which I have neither, to hit the spot right next to the access icon to trigger the charms menu. Otherwise, it's not a bad app.

EricomAccessToGo used to work well with my iPad 2. I used it daily all day long to enter orders on our company's server. Over the last six months the quality changed as it would begin to crash every time I switched to a different app and switched back. It also stopped allowing me to copy text in a different app and paste the text into AccessToGo.
The straw that finally broke the camels back was two days ago when EricomAccessToGo began crashing every time I tried to make a connection to the server. Literally I cannot even begin to login anymore....I deleted EricomAccessToGo and re-downloaded it in hopes of resolving the issue....it did not, so I am deleting EricomAccessToGo and will switch to a larger app like Jump or Microsoft's RDP.

Other iPad-oriented RDP clients seem to be missing essential aspects like right-click support. This one incldes it right up front in a menu bar across the bottom of the control window (which can be hidden or revealed on demand).

Set-up is obvious and simple (if you actually know what you're doing and know how to use RDP in the first place; the previous reviewer who complained about lack of instructions may instead be unfamiliar wit RDP in general, which is not the fault of EricomAccessToGo ).

I have used many remote control apps, but EricomAccessToGo is the one that most stood up against all of 'em. It has the worst possible interface and makes you think that "iPads are useless" as one of my teachers said. If you want to use Java or Flash, just don't use it and find alternate ways to view the animation, thankfully there are many alternative ways to view animations these days. Or, if you have the money and want to spend on something really worthy, buy everyone a Puffin browser and view those ....ing animations.

But, thank you for the time you spent reading and downloading the worst 18MB of app data since the dawn of mobile applications.

I wonder if this thing is the 3.5.1 version, what would have the previous versions looked like.

Every so often I'd look for an RDP solution for my iPad that would work well. I have found what I'm looking for in EricomAccessToGo. It works very nice, the mouse control makes sense and I'm able to type, scroll, resize windows... All the things you need to do when you're running a windows session. Now, I can use my iPhone/iPad if I need to get on my desktop at work and not have to worry about lugging my laptop everywhere when I'm on call.

This has always been my favorite RDP app. The latest version with the new UI gets stuck in portrait mode frequently. I would rate it 5 stars otherwise. The previous version would have been 5 stars.

While the Remote Desktop function of this application seems to work quite well, it is impossible to use a physical keyboard in a logical way with this current application.

There is a huge status bar at the top of the screen for the keyboard that has to be present whenever the keyboard is enabled, to type anything at all, and when this is enabled, the mouse now moves the entire screen when it gets to the bottom edge, for important things, that are now off screen... like the Windows taskbar.

Why can't the ergonomics make sense? You are using Remote Desktop, on a computer. If you need symbols, you can use the windows symbols application. If you need the windows key, then use the toolbar, but if you don't, you should be able to disable the toolbar.

Why is the physical keyboard disabled by default anyway???? It should ALWAYS be active.

I just wanted an app that could RDP without needing to install VNC or any other software on the computer. EricomAccessToGo is great for that. I'm in IT and am always needing to RDP to a server or user's PC. I bought another app for $25 and it needed VNC to work which is ridiculous. EricomAccessToGo gives the ability to right-click which is really handy and is very easy to use. Highly recommend it.

Right now, I am a bit frustrated w this product. The screen rotation has stopped working. This product is a bit quirky but learning to use it is not terribly troublesome. Learning is fairly intuitive if one has a good deal of computer and iPad experience.
I really, really want the cursor keys to become functional: they are not.
I have learned the mouse, keyboard, scrolling, and other eccentric features pretty well.
Learning to block select is still clumsy for me.
I think a tutorial option each time this is opened would help a lot.
I was able to speed up the product substantially by reducing the presentation to 16 bit from 32 bit color. And, the color remained quite excellent as did resolution. At 8 bit, the resolution for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) work for attached pdf/fax files was inadequate. It was adequate at 16 bit.

I tried other RDP's to help me connect to a specific server for work. After having downloaded 5 others, I ran across this free app. I was able to input all the information needed without having to be a tech support professional and it connected me a quickly as it would if I was at my computer at work. Great app! Thanks for making working from home easier.

I was with a customer in his building and he accessed our control system with this remotely. I couldn't take my eyes off of his phone and was mesmerized at how fast this was working and the features it had. He was zooming in on the screen and pinpoint mouse clicking...from his phone. I downloaded it and use it all the time. Works great with just an IP address.

This ap works just fine as long as you kinda know what is going on. I personally have had no probl accessing my work's terminal computer. Had one issue with sending text to certain layers on host computer, but a quick email to the free support site cleared that up.

I've tried several Remote Desktop apps and found this one to be the best one. I used these apps to access various Windows 7 VMs and found it easy to configure and use. The mouse, keyboard and display controls work well. The display also looks much better than the others I've tried.

Now I can log into windows without needing my PC to do it! Unlike other Remote Desktop applications and it has a mouse like capabilities which will make it easier for navigation. This will be great for school, I won't have to log around a big laptop when I take my seated classes.

I have been really impressed with the speed and functionality of EricomAccessToGo . How to use the server however needs to be a little more intuitive, user-friendly and explained a bit more. Overall, awesome App!

For me this is the perfect app. It allows me to connect to my company's Windows based app server from my iPad and I am able to do everything that I can do from the iPad that I can do from my laptop. Truly extraordinary.

Does everything I need and then some. Even works flawlessly with my Bluetooth Keyboard... Not many other apps work. Wish they had a VNC version of this software as well...
