When I first opened uCal , I noticed that it was sluggish in responding to simple tasks. Twice it abruptly crashed. I uninstalled, cleared my iPhone cache as I was rebooting my phone, then reinstalled.
The fact that it is taking over three hours to sync a simple calendar without thousands of events shows that uCal needs a tremendous amount of work to be considered functional and to have good UX.
On this one folks, you should pass. Great concept, just not ready for market. This could explain whether there are so few users and reviewers.
I love how the day view shows my appointments, how the week view shows special days, and how the month view shows trips. I’ve wanted this for a while.
Unfortunately, scrolling is really sluggish, and sync is slow and inscrutable enough that I can’t trust that it’s ever showing everything.
I love this, i love that i can traverse through my life’s schedule with ease, not being clouded by too many numbers and being able to see all my events and to-do’s.
my only critique is that i think when you turn your phone sideways you should be able to scroll horizontally. otherwise uCal works wonders in my life!
