Yes, I would say that Countdown in fact DOES ACTUALLY HELP as far as keeping track of your upcoming events. Countdown gives you a somewhat wide variety of options to personalize each date entry that you wish to this app to. It gives you the option to set a notification to remind you about each event (I haven’t got to test it yet, but doesn’t seem too promising considering I was a “Free User”). BUT Countdown DOES NOT INCLUDE a calendar with holiday dates marked to help set countdowns such as “Days Until Christmas”.

I specifically purchased the Premium App for the detailed notifications, which in my mind would not only include Banners but some type of alarm sound. So far I’ve set 5 test timers and have not received a single notification, Banner or Sound.

I need an alarm for multiple timers that are crucial. Other than this Countdown is visually pleasing and very easy to use.

Please update app for alarms & notifications as advertised.

First off you should not only make cool things for the premium users like that’s so not fair🤨 I use Countdown a lot for my horses birthdays and other Important events for me and I think that it should LOOK important not with some stupid colors and a 2yr old drawing on the side and just get a little notification for it it’s very stupid and don’t tell me to become a premium user cause i don't want to I like Countdown but you know plz make these changes and respond back thanks

I love Countdown . The looks of it, the layout, all the choices it give you, very customizable! I just wish the this app could appear on the Today page as other this app apps have done. It also lacks the choice of repeating an event daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Things such as anniversaries or birthdays can not be done automatically. This is the only this app app I love just hate that I have to be opening Countdown each time I want to see an event and putting various entries for the same thing but years ahead. Will give it 5 stars when these features are added!

Your basic count up and this app event timer. You can have multiple timers and have it count up from a past event or this app to a future event. You can give each event its own name and choose from several icons to go with the title. It does have ads, but they are small and non-intrusive. No option for it to show in widgets, so you have to access Countdown to check the timers. So far, I like it!

Love that app! Heads and shoulders above others being developed. Very customizable, however it could go a few steps further. Reminders would be a winner and being able to customize the this app itself would be great. I.e. Being able to select the detail of time. Many times all that desired is "days" without the "hours" "minutes" and "seconds", etc. Offering an ad free version for a small price would be another positive feature to offer. Keep moving forward in development and no one will ever surpass you!

I downloaded this because I like to see how long I have before competitions or other important dates. It's simple enough to use and I like it. I wish 2 things though:
1. I hope one day it will show the amount of days past an event is. Not super important but I think it would be a nice touch.
2. If there was a way that an event(s) could be displayed right on the home screen so Countdown won't have to be opened to look at the countdowns.
Other than those two things this is a 5 star app!

I love how simple Countdown is. Although, I would ask that rather than just sharing one event you could please share a calendar or multiple events together. I have a sports team that I need to share home and away schedule. It would be nice to send a link so that people could view ALL upcoming events. Thanks!!

Simple, easy to use, my kids love it. It is VERY basic tho. The free version has only white icons that you place on a solid color banner. Would like to see more banner color options (there are only 30 colors), a color picker, patterned banners, different fonts, more icons, maybe even animated GIF’s, the ability to create events from calendar entries and add shared events to calendar, and maybe different notification sounds. The premium version removes the ads and allows you to use multicolor icons, but there aren’t that many of them and that ability alone isn’t worth $4.99.

Countdown has some wonderful features. I really like the large choice of icons from which to choose, I like being able to specify a particular hour for the event, and I like its presentation in a bar format (horizontal shaded area). If you made it appear on the widget page for today, I would be using it instead of a less attractive this app app. I also wish this were available for iPad

Give me an ad-free version and allow it to appear on my notifications and I will up that to five stars. :) Being able to set birthdays and anniversaries for auto repeat would be a bonus but I can work around it easy enough. Overall I am very pleased. That fifth star is withheld only due to the notification page thing and the inability to purchase it to get rid of ads.

App does what it says, few quirks, I would like custom images instead of quirky icons. And I would like to be able to see the past and the future on the same screen as an option. Besides that if you need something to keep a this app, it works, unfortunately I will not be renewing next year unless some upgrades made.

I never rate anything...NEVER. But I like Countdown so much that I'm rating it. Simple, lots of options, all events show in a list on one page so it's quick to view them, etc. I agree with another comment. Would be nice if the events could be integrated into today's events on phone. Would also be neat if you could grab an event from google calendar and add to this app. Even without those options, Countdown is AWESOME!

Simple & useful. It may take you 15 minutes max to figure the entire App out. It works. No lag time, no stalling. I wanted to check days to an operation because I needed to do some things on certain days before the surgery. No worries. I check Countdown and I don't have to keep figuring it out, 2nd guessing myself each time.

Just set a date and time, along with the title and an option subtitle and that's it. It will count down to the second until the date is gone, while telling you days hours minutes and seconds left. Rather simple but gets the job done. Very nice that i can do multiple events at once.

Countdown is great now I don’t need to listen to my family complain again about missing a holiday! It is free (unless you want to go premium) and easy to use. You don’t even need a guide to do it. I can see why it is 4 and up. I recommend to all my friends and they love it too! We will use it for many years to come! Finally a cute way to organize holidays on my phone!

I actually love this so much, easy to use and the reminders aren’t the best but even without premium it’s always easy to open and keep track of the stuff you put in there. It’s actually helpful and I use it all the time to keep track of holidays, vacations, schoolwork due, projects due, and when packages come in.

Countdown delivers on everything you need without going over the top. I love that ads are only banners on the bottom, I love how simple it is to add and customize countdowns, and I appreciate that notifications to “come back to Countdown ” are sparse. I wouldn’t have Countdown any other way. It’s a great app to check up on every once and a while and be like “oh yeah look at that”.

I love Countdown because I have many chores that I need to do to earn money so every week I update my chores list it’s very helpful it just wish that it had a setting were you could keep the alarm for longer for a couple of hours or days. I would strongly recommend Countdown to anyone who is un organized so that they can make there life easygoing.

I’m the kind of person who always wants to know when events are and how long I have to wait. Countdown makes it so easy!! You can have as many events as you want, and it’s super effortless to add all your events. It’s also not difficult to navigate. Countdown is super simple and not at all complicated. Definitely recommend this to everyone who is eager to know fun dates!

This is by far the best Event Count Down App that I have used! And as far as re entering all the info again like the last person said.. all you have to do is click on past events and change it to next year. Easy Peazy and it goes to future! You don't have to re-enter the whole thing like they said. It's a really cool app! And love the colors and icons to choose from ❤️ I give it 5 stars!
