PayDay, Elegant Shift Calendar Reviews

One of the easiest scheduling apps I’ve ever used. Once you get your job and shift(s) created, making your schedule on PayDayElegantShiftCalendar takes maybe 30 secs - 1 min. If you upgrade (super cheap), you also get the hours calculator which helps me out oh so much. The widget is another really sweet option with the full version.

I got PayDayElegantShiftCalendar on my iPhone 6 Plus, and it worked great. I had a minor issue with the widget after I upgraded to an iPhone X, but I emailed the developer and he literally replied within 5 minutes with some of the best customer service I’ve ever received, ever. After some tinkering, we found a solution to my problem and I couldn’t be happier.

Easily 5 stars if not for functionality, then definitely for the cust service.

PayDayElegantShiftCalendar has been a lifesaver for me. I’m a PRN (as-needed) healthcare worker and work for five different companies and at about six or seven different facilities fairly consistently. Most people who do the same thing that I do have to lug around a planner; I just use this incredible app. I’ve never double booked myself or missed a job.
I love pretty much everything about PayDayElegantShiftCalendar. I love the color-coding, I love that you can leave memos, and I love that it’s so easy to add and get rid of jobs. If one of my managers asks if I can work on a certain day, no matter where I am I can see if I’m free that day or not and instantly book them if I am. And if I’m canceled, same deal. Some of the other apps I tried it was really difficult to add and get rid of shifts.

The one thing that I don’t love is that it can be a little TOO easy to get rid of shifts. I’ve deleted a shift a couple of times, and luckily I’ve always seen while I’m doing it, but im afraid one of these days I’m going to delete a job without realizing it.

Overall, cannot recommend enough for anyone who works multiple jobs.

PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is one of a kind for people like me that shifts cross over to the next day (work as a nurse in the hospital). PayDayElegantShiftCalendar makes my monthly glance clean and easy to see without the messy look of the shift overlapping days and making it look confusing as to which day I work. Love the shift times that are in the boxes for the actual day I go into shift. Only thing I wish it had were a legend built in to the month so I could see what my different colors mean (like work, class/trainings and meetings). I also really wish you could customize PayDayElegantShiftCalendar icon since this is a new thing for many apps. Not a fan of the icon! But other than that! App is great!

This is a great app for shift workers who may have irregular schedules. PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is easy to use and has good features. Biggest missing feature is tip tracking, could easily be added with an entry type that accepts a $ amount without a time/hour categorization.

For the iOS calendar sync function I wish you could select a different calendar, I like to keep things color coded and separate work events. Also, the widget could use a "compact" view in addition to the full month view.

Overall a solid app, could be 5 stars with a few fixes.

I don't see how other scheduling apps are more popular. This one is by far the best free version I've found of anything. Others don't include the pay calculator or allow you to make multiple different shifts or jobs in their free versions. The color coding is amazing and let's me know what job and shift I'm working at a quick glance. Its the easiest and most reliable app I've used for scheduling and I've been trying out different apps for over a month to see if I could find something I like more. Alas this is still by far the best one! Would rate 10 stars if I could!

I have tried other apps similar to this and just didn’t meet my expectations. PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is great and I even decided to upgrade to assist the developers of PayDayElegantShiftCalendar .

However I do have two suggestions...it would be nice if we can do a base pay rather than hourly rate. I work some jobs where I get a set amount so trying to figure out how much I make per hour is not necessary. Also it would be nice to be able to set pay periods within the calendar.

Other than great app look forward to any new updates that may come.

I love PayDayElegantShiftCalendar. I have been using it for over a year now and I love that I can change the pay between different jobs. I usually work 3 different jobs at a time and I can keep track of all three schedules and make sure my work doesn’t collide. I just wish it would have a little tab that we can insert Payday like we do our scheduled hours. It has one that’s says OFF but not one that says PAYDAY. But over all it’s pretty simple and easy to insert my schedule and calculate what my expected pay would be.

The PayDay app is one of the best work schedule apps I’ve used. I’ve used quite a few before making this one my full time use. Very convenient to have all your shifts in one organized list. If you have multiple jobs, it keeps those all organized as well.

The only thing I would like to see is maybe a state by state tax reduction percentage so that the take home calculated pay could be even more accurate.

I’m a nurse and I was looking for a calendar where I could see my shifts in a very clean, easy to read way. PayDayElegantShiftCalendar was the closest thing to what I was looking for and for the most part I love it. But the weirdest thing has happened the past two times that I have flown to a different time zone (only one hour difference). The first time, all of my shifts moved forward by a day. The second time, they all moved forward by a month. It is currently September and PayDayElegantShiftCalendar thinks it’s August and has my September schedule in August. Not sure what could cause this.

Payday app is a lifesaver. I'm a nurse at two different hospitals and often work varying shifts at one hospital. In addition to that I have trainings that I get paid for. PayDayElegantShiftCalendar allows me to plug in everything at my rate of pay and it calculates it all. I can gauge the accuracy of my check with PayDayElegantShiftCalendar. I also use it as a work schedule in case I forget which days I'm working or shift. I don't have one complaint. Would be nice if it could calculate taxes and insurance. 🤗

PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is genius. It’s straight forward, customizable, and functional. My only gripe with it is kind of surface level....The new app icon looks incredibly childish and unappealing. The former icon was much more mature looking. Other than that, PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is great for someone with multiple jobs or someone who works by the hour!
Edit: the icon has changed and it is much better now!! Thanks for listening developers! You guys are great.

PayDayElegantShiftCalendar lets you calculate your checks after taxes and easily and see when you work. Although the scheduling process is a bit awkward. It assumes your shifts are set for each job so if they aren’t you have to keep editing them which is annoying.

Wishlist
* have a dot on the calendar indicating which day it is so I don’t have to press home and look at the date
* easier way to put random shifts down on the calendar
* a way to see when your pay days are and how much you will make
* a function that lets you repeat certain shifts
* easier way to schedule other things like when to study and whatnot
* a sideways view to look at certain work days more in depth (like apples calendar app)
*alerts when to leave for job

PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is amazing, although I'd like to make a suggestion. I'm an office manager, so I downloaded PayDayElegantShiftCalendar to create the employees schedule, which PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is great for. BUT it'd be AMAZING, if there was a shared link or something of that sort, so my co workers are able to go on and view their schedules, or if there was at least an option to send them a version of their schedules. Aside from that one issue PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is great!

I am a 911 dispatcher and my schedule is super funky. PayDayElegantShiftCalendar is the only one that I’ve found that works great scheduling my overtime and my normal schedule. I can customize different types of event for every block of a 24 hour shift and make that schedule export to my family’s Apple Calendar. This is so worth being free and the upgrade to support the developer was worth it. Definitely a must try app!

I work weird schedules at work and I keep track of my own times. PayDayElegantShiftCalendar lets me pick which job type I'm doing (labor, or in office) and times as well as set pay for each. Also let's you set pay differences for each time you work. Let's you see how much you made in a week if you get paid by hour too. Overall great budgeting and work hour app.
