I have 10 cameras of which two of them are IPC. The IPC cameras are apparently connected yo the Internet. We have no issues with our Internet. These two cameras when live or play back, they show pictures in stills and jerky movements. They stall and become difficult to follow movements of subjects. Yet if I were to record a portion and play back, it plays smoothly. We have no such issues with the other 8 channels. These other channels are apparently not connected via Internet.
Since this new Version or Update, Playback doesnt work properly, it always bounces back. no matter how often you put it on the time stamp you want it to be.
Playback button on new format doesn’t work. As. You move it to where you want to look it just bounces back to the beggining

Dmss keeps going offline every few minutes for a few minutes. Started after a really bad thunderstorm. The cameras show images but the door will not load says connection failed now we can not use the doorbell or app to access our door. The doorbell is flashing green, the app says failed to connect. We did a reboot and our router shows it connected. There are orande lights on two of the plugs we changed them and those two are still orange all of the cameras are green.

The search filters no longer work when you playback. I can playback 'all' but when I choose 'human' or 'vehicle' filter I get an error 'connection failed. Any ideas on what the issue is? It worked fine until about 3 weeks ago.

I have a system with three cameras, with a direct feed to a dedicated PC and by WIFI to two android phones On one phone (a Galexy S10e) the screens show up correctly and the recordings can be accessed with accurate selection of both "Motion: Vehicles" and Motion: Human The other phone (a Galaxy A10) the live feed is good, but when I select playback, the phone will show All but when I request "Motion: Vehicles" or Motion: Human" on any of the camera feeds, A blank screen and the message "No Record-Home" is all I get
Our time stamp is incorrect. It is 15 - 16 minutes fast. Rebooted and it still is incorrect. I cant see any way to re-set manually Richard Carr

We have suddenly started having issues on android phone - it won't show any of the cameras. The alarm also does not work it won't send any notifications. Everything was working without issue and fine until about 1 month ago (early April 2023) What is going on?! Very frustrating....

I am unable to view my cameras remotely on my phone when I am on a different internet connection that the cctv system is on. If I am away from home I am unable to do live view from my phone. But when I am at home and my phone is on same internet wifi with the cctv system I can live view. Please what do I need to do to be able to do a live view when I am away from home on a different wifi network or cellular internet data.

Upgraed to latest version. In the old version, the DMSS alerted and provided a video snap shot and short video. It obeyed the IVS perimeter lines (defined by the camera section in the DVR), and with only the 'intrusion' option selected in the DMSS app Multi Channel Alarm Subscription settings. Now, the updated DMSS app will not provide any alerts or video snap shots unless all requested paramters are selected in the Multi Channel Alarm Subscription. NOW THE DMSS APP DOES NOT OBEY THE IVS PERIMTER LINES DRAWN IN THE CAMERA SECTION OF THE NVR. THIS CAUSES NUMEROUS UNWANTED ALERTS.

Hello. I had my home cameras installed 2 years ago, but unfortunately they have not been working for the last year. I had the guy that installed them over to fix the controls box.he said he had to change the password and the system should be ok.He told me the new password is Create20!! When I tried the new password and it doesn’t work. When I try to access the live cameras, they only boot up to 70% and the word help ,comes up on each camera. Please help . My DMSS also stopped giving me notifications as of about a week ago. Nothing has changed and I have deleted and re installed everything.

After Nov 16, 2022 update to Version 1.99.300 DMSS will not open on Android 9.0 Moto G6. Version 1.99.202 worked fine.

I have a pixel 4A 4G android operating phone that is fully up to date and I am using the latest DMSS software. My issues are as follows: When I playback instant smart motion detection recordings in the app the person that activated the recording can be seen for about a second in the video recording then they disappear, this happens on all cameras. Unable to playback recorded videos on all cameras in app. Unable to send recorded videos via WhatsApp.
Problems with app on my phone. Can't playback or watch live. Pressed the refresh button, gets to 98% then says 'help'. Tried uninstalling the app but no luck. Doesn't work on other family members phone too. Been like that for 5 days now. Any suggestions please?

On Android phones, there is a msg prompt to check the box to agree on, but I can't go further
you have posted a dialogue box with a permission text box but there is no check box to tick and I cant remove the message

Using an Android phone. Promt message appeared for service agreement but no checkbox to tick. Prompt message is on display whenever I try to access cameras. Now I can't view cameras at all !!! I have an elderly mother I need to keep safe. This needs to be fixed ASAP
A promt screen has appeared to agree to terms and conditions. I can't assess anything on dmss app as prompt page stuck there.
On the Android phone, a prompt comes up to select a checkbox to agree on the new terms and move forward. But there is no checkbox or option to continue. I can’t check my camera at all!

Why does the app keep logging out? When it logs me out, I don’t get any notifications including from the doorbell. The poor quality of the app renders the system useless.

I have found the solution!!! Read if struggling with looking at dmss app cctv via mobile data. Uninstall then camera the add device again using the SN scan either by scanning or Manually adding the code. You can get the code and check p2p settings activated in your Web login to your cctv. I hope you can achieve it. I feel so less stressed now and I am gutted no-one helped me achieve this. Good luck 🙂
On two different NVRs (one at our resident and one at our church), when attempting to play back alarm video, I constantly get connection failed, or no record. This stated about two weeks ago.

Hi, We have installed dmss app on new phones, did all described in the instruction video on how to import device but we are not receiving any notification when someone rings the door. (We use dmss app as interphone on our building). All tennants that changed their phone are experiencing the same issue and we cannot reach the guy who installed the interphone. Everything works fine for the tenants who did not change the phone after initial installation. Can you please help as this is very inconvenient. Thank you!

There are big gaps in the 'All' view function - the blue band. Camera is recording but I have to view on 'Regular'. My wife is using similar Android phone without problem
App Cannot download recordings of notifications. Goes to around 80 to 90 percent then connection fails. This is on both my late model iPad and 6plus. Apparently the company who I purchased the Dahua cameras from and who hooked them up to the net. They can access data on an android and Dahua engineers can access them on late model iPhone as well as their iPad. I’m lost, please help. Bill

I have switched from gDMSS to DMSS few days ago and found problem with Local Alarm Input notifications. They wont appear and in DMSS application I cant enable them because app says "No alarm inputs are obtained". On gDMSS Local alarms worked only notification appeared as "unknown alarm". My device is DH-XVR7104HE-4KL-X, DMSS version 1.99.000. Please repair it as soon its possible!

My tech “shared” my device on his app to show me how and now we can’t delete him. It just says failed to cancel sharing. But now he has access to my cameras on his app.
