Awesome

This is a great training app. Takes you through basic commands and more with Zach. Lots of helpful videos to accompany you during your rough puppyhood stages. It can also be used for adult dogs too. Which I did. It definitely keeps us busy since we are stuck at home during covid. I have used it on one dog so far and plan to do my other dog soon! Helps build bonds between you and your puppy/dog not to mention they will be well behaved if the training followed through with. Consistent training can also build your dogs confidence in the long run. There’s also a great Facebook community you can join thats related to app if you are having issues. Lots of experienced people and a fun Facebook community to be apart of! I hope you get a great experience out of Pup like I did!

New Pup Parent Must Have

I brought home my first puppy on December 12, 2020. She is a red English Cocker Spaniel named Ruby. We did the 30-day perfect puppy program, and it helped us with focus, crate training, and potty training. She hasn’t had an accident inside since January (almost 2.5 months), she sleeps in her crate through the night and often puts herself to bed in it at night without being told, and she can hold her down-stays for about 30 seconds outside with distractions and me standing about 40 feet away. We also bought the trick training program, and she’s mastered about 12/20! Would highly recommend the free courses and purchasing a few or subscribing. As a first time dog mom, it answered a lot of my questions and set us both up for success!

Great, but would be fantastic if it saved my place

The lessons in Pup are super helpful. For Pup developers, though, Zak will frequently say things like “okay, pause the video and practice this step outside with your dog.” When I come back into Pup my place on the video is lost and I am not even still in that specific training step but am landed on the homepage. Yes, I see a prompt to continue with my training day, but what if I was watching a specific training skill video? Pup has no “memory” and when I get back into that video my place is lost. This is quite frustrating when I’m going in and out of Pup frequently. Having some indication that I a) have started the training step and b) saving my place in the video should I pause or close my phone would make Pup fantastic. Thanks.

My 8 week old is doing superb !!!

I love love Zak 30 day free training course. I ordered his books 5 days in because wow! I am going a bit slower on training throwing in extra day of the same tasks but I have an 8 week old who is still new to everything. :) However he is sitting like a champ, coming when called (not that he is ever too far away - 20 ft lead), and getting “Leave It” 90 percent of the time even when exploring outside!! It’s making an amazing difference in our bonding and his behavior ...and even better my older dog is starting to join in because SHE wants those tasty treats too! I’ve been recommending to anyone that has a dog to try it out!

Great app, with lots of potential!

I love that I can now use Pup instead of having to log on to the website or go through my emails! The content is fantastic and when I’m consistent, my this app is on point, and people notice. I tell them it’s all Zak George and Pupford :) I didn’t give five stars because of Pup itself. I would love to see the 21 impulse control games on there (I read other reviews and see that it’s forthcoming). It would also be super helpful if I could create notifications or alarms that told me- “now it’s time to train your this app,” or something to that effect. Essentially, something to help me be more consistent with using Pup . Sometimes I forget or I’m tired, and I need to be trained to train my dog! That would be really helpful! Fantastic otherwise, though!

Need note time

This is an amazing app for dog training. The only problem is that my puppy sometimes doesn’t learn a skill in one day. Then I end up having to search through my emails trying to find the one from the day I’m on. I think that 30 days isn’t long enough to train a dog, so making the time frame longer and going more slowly would be useful. This would be extremely useful in the first couple days because people are getting used to having a new dog/puppy in the house, everyone in the house needs to get settled in with their new pet, and if it’s their first dog, they need to get used to training and caring for a puppy/dog. Basically give us more than 30 days to train. Otherwise Pup is really useful.

Great training guide

I recently got a rescue dog so some of the puppy guide and potty training wasn’t super relevant but most of it still applied. It was a great daily activity with my dog to strengthen our bond. Beyond the 30 day perfect this app, I am enjoying working on recall mastery and impulse control games. Rafa can still be a bit reactive to some people and dogs out on walks but I think our relationship has grown because of the time we spend together using positive reinforcement and the Pupford app. I also enjoy their podcast. These are a great resource/alternative for training when our in-person training has shut down due to omicron :/

Great, but can’t get rid of notifications!

I love Pup! It’s a one stop shop for treats, chews, training, and individual learning styles. My only issue is that it constantly says I have a notification, but nothing I do gets rid of it! I don’t know where it’s coming from! In addition, I love watching the Zak George training videos, but when I’m in the middle of a video, and have to switch out of Pup for a quick second and then come back, the video starts all the way back at the beginning, instead of where I left off. I’m talking about leaving Pup for MAYBE 30 seconds to check a notification, and then returning. It’s annoying to have to figure out how far along in the video I was.

Treats used for training

Kudos to Zac George! He is the one that recommended PUPFORD treats for training. So as I was anticipating the arrival of our newest 4 legged member to our family, i went ahead and ordered 5 bags of treats. I wanted to start training as soon as he arrived. After seeing how well the training was going and that Louie liked the chicken, beef, sweet potato and salmon, i went ahead and placed a bigger order. At 8 weeks old I knew Louie was going to need a lot of training. With treats he can; look at me, sit, down, up, paw, sit pretty, stand, come and stay. Louie is 11 weeks old. Check out the ingredients! That’s what sold me.

Super Yummy Treats & Great Videos

My puppy loves these treats! I’ve only bought the ones for training, but just ordered the reward treats to see how my puppy likes them. Some of the training treats are a little bigger compared to the others in the bag, but I just break them in half when I grab a handful from the bag. I went to a puppy socializing class and multiple dogs came up to me to have some treats. The treats are more on the pricier side though.

We’re on day four of the puppy training classes and I love them. I love how there’s a video and step by step instructions too. I also love how you can either choose to follow a plan or pick and choose which command to teach your puppy.

A Few Things

I love Pup so far and am so happy it’s up and running again.

A few negative things I have to say are:
- Pup crashes when trying to log into Facebook.
- I wish I could change my dog’s name in Pup . I set up the account to see what it was like while we were tossing names in the air and we settled on something different once we got our dog and now I can’t change it.
- Finally, I am having the darndest time getting my Pupford online account linked to Pup . That may be more my side though than the apps and isn’t relevant to the stars I gave.

A few positive things:
- The Free 30 day course and behavior training videos. I love that I can test Pup out before buying anything. I’m on day four and love it so far. The videos are clear and understandable.
- Instruction lists are organized and easy to follow. The instructions are clear and make it easy to remember the steps in the video.
- Premium isn’t too expensive so I may consider purchasing premium once I have gone through the 30 day plan.

Exactly what we needed!

Our 4mo old furbabe is smart and wants ti learn but we didn't know how to teach him. With COVID19 there aren't training facilities for us to join. Our son used Zak’s training videos with his dog and told us about him. We’ve been working on basics with our little dog but I felt I needed a progressive plan. I settled on Pupford’s lifetime membership video access because it has all the structure and support material I wanted to train from home. I’m so thankful for this! The price is an incredible value and the content is fantastic! Now our Jacky boy will have the tools and training he needs to be his best!

Super training videos, academy, and customer support

I have to say that I am so pleased with everything on Pup. The videos and pdf files are so complete. It has been a god send. I joined the Academy and it is so worth it. The instructions are complete, there is such a variety of offerings that no matter what may come up, I have a great resource. And I can’t say enough about their customer support, help-email. They are very helpful and got back to make sure things were going well. Pupford has been great for our puppy needs and will carry through adulthood.

Zak George is the best!

I have two pups (5 years and 8 months old) and have done some training with them throughout their lives, but this 30-day training with daily emails has combined the know-how and consistency I needed to have increasingly well-behaved dogs who know what to do, listen well, and are happier and more confident than ever before. Zak George is a natural at this and makes it so much fun! At first the repeat of the same videos seemed puzzling, but then I realized it replicates the quality of any good training for humans or dogs…repetition, repetition, repetition. I highly recommend it!

The app that keeps on giving

Pup has helped our doggo family tremendously. The training section (which I believe is free) is perfect for learning how to train a new puppy from day one. The academy portion (you have to pay for this) has excellent trick training and leash training how-tos. We also started using the advice in the barking section to learn how to control different types of barks from our dogs and were surprised at how effective the tips were. We also like how Pup developers keep updating and adding more content to Pup ! Thanks so much, pupford!

Great puppy trying app!

We recently adopted two (yes, you read that right, TWO) 11 week old puppies from a rescue in our area. As I’ve never had puppies before - only adult rescues, I was not prepared for all the work (well, double the work). Thankfully, a trainer I contacted advised me to look into Zak George and I found Pupford. Everywhere we go, people comment on how well-behaved my now 5-month old puppies are. We still have lots of work to do, but I can honestly say I have my sanity and two happy, healthy, smart puppies thanks to the tips and training I found on Pup!

Excellent training resources

Incredibly impressed by the Pupford app, treats and newsletter. My entire family has been able to apply the training and our puppy has responded incredibly well. It helps that the treats are very high value, from the liver treats to the tendon chews, our puppy is always attentive when they come out.
Recommend all facets of what Pupford offers as the email newsletter are also very insightful regarding dog behavior and other great information about dogs.
Thank you for providing an amazing reference and for the tremendous treats!

If you have a spoiled puppy, you must check out Pupford!

Getting a new puppy can be overwhelming but Pupford makes it so much easier! If you want to train your new puppy to be the best dog ever then you have to check out Pupford’s training tips and training treats! I absolutely love all the amazing dog training tips and treats they have! They keep my puppy healthy and happy as she learns how to be a good dog. I would’ve been so lost without something to keep her interested and motivated for training. Pupford gives me all the tools I need to train my lab puppy! Thank you so much!

Best treats and free puppy training

My puppy loves these treats. Kiska’s favorites are the rabbit, beef liver, and salmon. She likes the sweet potato too but it takes longer for her to chew them so we don’t use them when walking or training outside. The treats are small enough that only a few pieces need to be snapped in half. Plus, there is a 30 day, free puppy training by Zak George that is awesome and we are still using now that she is 7 months old. I paid for the all access training and not sure it was worth it as it is isn’t Zak, but still using it.

So far so good!

Today we (my labradoodle and I) are on day 4 of the free training course and I have nothing but great things to say about Zak, thanks to him and Pup my this app leaves anything I don’t want her to have alone.. it’s amazing how with just a bit of patiences and time my this app is starting to follow direction. Definitely recommend Pup, yes it’s free.. and yes they have a bit of promoting dog supplies (treats & toys I believe too)within Pup buts it’s not obligation to buy. The actual training course is completely free which is the best thing in Pup by far.
