Unfair Reviews

I think the 1 star reviews are unfair. Most are complaining about the service which I agree could be better, or their customer service. Please act like you’ve had at least a 9th grade education and rate SuddenlinkSupportApp nothing else. For other complaints go to their website or the BBB.

My review of SuddenlinkSupportApp is that it works like any other support app for a service I am receiving. I can view my bill, Bill history, change my plan, etc. I gave it 4 stars bc it could be better but it meets basic needs.

For those of you having problems paying a bill or scheduling a payment I suggest doing it on their website. I have autopay which I can see on SuddenlinkSupportApp . This might be the reason my info is easy to view. Anywhoo, that’s my 2 pennies.

Good luck trying to pay your bill

This company is awful. I have always had trouble trying to pay my bills with them. Sometimes they post my payment, sometimes they forget, sometimes they randomly lose my billing address even though it’s been the same for years. I try paying on their app, then they take away that option from SuddenlinkSupportApp . I try paying on their website, then it goes down for “scheduled maintenance “ for over a week. Then they post to download a different app that’s outdated and doesn’t work only to make you download yet a third app to find out your paying late after TRYING to pay them for two weeks. They are an awful company. And that’s just the tip of the ice berg. Don’t get me started on their reliability of service. Definitely avoid moving to an area where this is your only option

Most unreliable app I’ve ever used.. NEVER WORKS!! EVER!

This is a disgrace! I’m about to switch companies because this is so poorly managed. Their nation wide service is fine but SuddenlinkSupportApp has not worked since I downloaded it. Even store reps couldn’t get it to work. They need to get ride of it or actually hire someone to make it work. I’ve changed passwords and everything I can think of and now I’ve had late payments after being so mad that I couldn’t get SuddenlinkSupportApp to work I walked away from my phone and then couldn’t get through on the phone now my payments are late... how in the hell is that my fault that all of the resources to pay aren’t available.... awful service. If you are thinking about this company... think again and use someone else

No other option....yet

I really don’t know how this service has survived this long: except that maybe it’s because no competitor has decided to work in this area. I have not had any requests resolved: 1. We continue to have underground cable sitting above ground since we moved into our home
( for at least 10 months now) and the excuse given for not fixing the problem?- “ We have so many requests that we are backlogged”
Though the internet service has been ok, the customer service has been poor at best. Now there is no convenience for paying my bill- because SuddenlinkSupportApp - like the company’s service- is “ Unavailable...having issues...please try again later “
At this point, if a competitor were to come along, I would strongly consider changing over....smh

Consistently inconsistent service!

We’re in SALLISAW Oklahoma and their sales officer visited us quite a many time for having their service. He probably is the only best person of the company I’ve experienced so far.
We registered for the services and have frequent issues. Service Pearson responds in 6 to 8 hours, which as compare to my other service provider, not even near to match! Having such a big name, Suddenlink shall atleast ensure the continuity of good internet service but in our case they failed!
App is only for residential customer and not for business! Can you imagine having two different app from same provider for two separate accounts!? Come on guys!! Wake up!!

Pointless app

I downloaded SuddenlinkSupportApp, thinking it would be like SuddenlinkSupportApp Comcast offers. SuddenlinkSupportApp literally has zero features. You can just basically pay your Bill. It doesn’t show you the status of you network, can’t manage network info, can’t check devices connected, can’t actively troubleshoot your network, can’t view hardware information. Why did they even make this? My internet isn’t even working right now, using my phone data to write this. Couldn’t troubleshoot it with SuddenlinkSupportApp . It just shows you an article on unplugging the router and plugging it back in. Thanks.

Suddenlink service

How can an internet company have a website and mobile app that never works? I pay all my bills online and Suddenlink is the only company I have problems with logging onto their website and app every month. Once I finally get in, there is no option to schedule a payment in advance, so I have to wait until my payment is due to log back in and pay my bill. That’s if I can even log in at all. I haven’t had to pay any of my bills by phone or at the store in YEARS!! But it seems I will have to do that today. Completely ridiculous for an internet provider to have such an antiquated way of paying my bill. Nonsense!

Horrible App, Horrible Service, Horrible Company.

Their app is so unresponsive, throws random errors, just like in their webpage, it’s a rare occurrence when I don’t encounter random errors. I can’t ever see my bill, or make payments as it ALWAYS says their billing system is not available. On top of that their customer service and tech support is horrible (when they answer), they’ll usually say they are having issues with their system, or that the upgraded their system and now everything ja down, and ask me to try again in 24 hours. I cannot believe a company can function like this. Their service is so unreliable and goes down frequently.

Less than 1 star is accurate - app doesn’t function

I thought 1 star reviews would be a little dramatic, but even just trying to set up auto pay, you type in your card or bank, and go to save it and it says it saves… you then do all the rest of the autopay set up and then you get a loading icon… after 10 minutes of waiting I just killed SuddenlinkSupportApp and reopened. My auto pay did not work, so when I go to do it again, I want to pick my “saved” payment methods….. they weren’t saved at all lol not a single thing works on SuddenlinkSupportApp. Don’t use. Don’t download.

Poor design and not helpful

SuddenlinkSupportApp looks like it has been designed by a child just beginning to learn coding; black & white, text heavy, non-uniform font sizes, and all over the place. Most “help” just suggests/redirects to the website, making SuddenlinkSupportApp mostly useless. Also, am I supposed to have confidence in a company that can’t even spell “internet” correctly on the link to “update your interent plan” on the “My Services” menu? SuddenlinkSupportApp definitely reflects the service; bloated, outdated, full of glitches/mistakes, and not the most reliable.

As poor as their service

I’m trying not to make this review about Suddenlink the company - which in 30 years of cable service in two homes is hands-down the worst in terms of both quality of service and customer support - but it is hard to separate SuddenlinkSupportApp from the company. I tried using SuddenlinkSupportApp to get help for an internet service outage (don’t worry: I was using cellular data), but SuddenlinkSupportApp froze on every page, except the one that allowed me to pay my bill. Worthless app; worthless company.

Easy way to pay bill and track service appointment

Got SuddenlinkSupportApp to track a service appointment and when my personal schedule changed, was really easy to schedule a different time. SuddenlinkSupportApp also makes it super easy to pay my bill. After paying my bill I used it to enroll in autopay.

Works great now

I used to have the old green app and it was awful. Has definitely been totally redesigned. App works great now. Logged in quickly and took me right to bill. Still had my payment method stored and a couple of clicks later I was done.

Bait and switch

So I signed up for tv and internet though suddenlink and the add on their website says unlimited internet 150 and core tv (over 200 channels) for $90 plus taxes and fees.. what I ended up with was internet and basic tv (24 channels) and pay $114. When calling customer service I was told that the $90 was for the internet and the tv is extra.. but if I want basic plus it would be an extra $50 a month.. no thank you. I can get better channels for free with my antenna.

From bad to worse

SuddenlinkSupportApp was horrible but now it is unusable. It will not even open it just crashes. You would think a company taking twice the money other providers do, during a pandemic no less, could afford to invest a little in a working app to pay bills. But no, if they did that they wouldn’t have excuses to tack on late fees and other fees. Their call center literally told me it was the government’s fault my internet had doubled in six months. Geez.

Solely about the App

Suddenlink for me has been fine. I can’t complain, prices have gone up slowly but that’s any subscription service. SuddenlinkSupportApp however is absolutely terrible. Constantly forcing me to login even though I just logged in. Not loading even though I’m using their service getting great speeds. Doesn’t make sense how they could release this. Please fire whoever designed SuddenlinkSupportApp. Or if you outsourced it please get your money back and spend it somewhere else.

Horrible App

SuddenlinkSupportApp doesn’t work. Just like the service this nasty company offers. I had a technician come out to my house to hook up internet and cable. He was here for 4 hours after showing up 3 hours past the time I was slotted. It’s been 4 days and I still don’t have cable or internet. But Suddenlink was stupid enough to send me a freaking bill for almost $200 for cable and internet. This company is a joke and I’ve filed a complaint against them.

Terrible app

I have tried 3 different times to set up auto pay. I got one link in an email that was not secure. Went to SuddenlinkSupportApp & I finally got to the place to submit my payment & it locked up. For an internet provider, this is a bad representation of your services. Tried talking to a person & couldn’t understand them so finally gave up. Too bad if my payment is late. PLEASE FOX THIS!!!

When you have no choice

Suddenlink is the only ISP in my area that has even moderately adequate speeds.
They keep jacking up rates and cutting out cheaper packages so you’re automatically “upgraded” and charged more with no notice. The previous app locked me out of my account and this one barely works.
I wish we had better options here because internet is such a necessity nowadays that it’s ridiculous to put up with such terrible service.

Useless

SuddenlinkSupportApp is every bit as useless as the company is. There is fewest of info about your account in SuddenlinkSupportApp then there are words in a kid’s story book. It doesn’t even keep you logged in long enough to be able to view your bill, a bill that I am still paying despite the fact that my Internet has been out for over a week and they have failed to show up to fix it TWICE now.

I repeat: Useless.

Paying my bill should be easier!!!

It won’t work!! Do you realize as a multi-million dollar company that you have a responsibility to your customers to provide a way to pay your bill! I don’t have a local office and I work to where I can’t get to a Post Office so I have to do everything electronic! SuddenlinkSupportApp is terrible and so is your web payments! Please fix your problems so we can easily pay our bills!!!
