Peeknest - Inventory Tracker Reviews

I don’t care to pay premium. I like ads gone and the extras you get with purchase. I buy it and I own it and can do what I want with it...but this subscription fee is becoming the new norm and why do I have to pay a team more than once for the same app im still using. Please don’t talk to me about cloud storage or servers because you could just give me the option to store my info into my own cloud storage and buy Peeknest outright and sign in with a licensing number or something to show proof of my burden like on pc. I thought it a pretty cool app and really would of enjoyed using it but I don’t appreciate having my hand forced. I did read unlimited entry is only included with paid but you sure didn’t tell me I’d only get 5 entries a day with free. Clever really. The things I’m wanting to add it would take me years at 5 items a day so if I want to really use Peeknest we are back where I started and paying fora subscription. I’ll go back to iCollect where it is free and customizable from my action figures to my cosmetic collection to my plants that I’m inventorying. I honestly feel Peeknest was a little more suited for me but I’m not cheap but don’t like being manipulated in a round about way of having to pay every year forever as long as I use something

The classic bait and switch. Peeknest needs to be upfront about the fact that you need to sign up for a subscription if you’d really like to fully use it. Without the subscription, you can only add 5 items a day. In that case, it would be faster for me to just catalog my cosmetics, clothing, etc on my desktop computer. Yes, you can sign up for a free trial and cancel at any point but we all know how those situations tend to turn out. If you’re going to go that route, be sure you know the exact date charges start and cancel well before it. But once you cancel, that’s it..you’re done...you can’t add or change your account unless you pay a reoccurring fee. I would have been willing to pay a one time purchase fee for Peeknest after testing it out but to be presented with a subscription request is just shady on the company’s part. I’m not here for it. Another great idea down the toilet thanks to greed.

Edit to respond to App Developer: I’ve deleted Peeknest and I NEVER signed up for premium. So if you have automatically enrolled me in the premium service, then this is me officially canceling it. I don’t want any of your services. Cancel it all. Thank you.

It supposedly allows adding 5 items per day but if you’re editing an item you already added in the past or moving items around to other nest spaces you created, it counts against you. I only added 1 item today while moving items around & it’s now asking me to subscribe to add more than 5. Also, you can’t change your email. I tried changing my email. It then tells you to log out & log back in. After doing that, it erases everything you’ve ever added. Thank goodness I still had this on a different device to prevent complete loss.

Update: They told me I created a new login by mistake. Um, that’s on you. It allows me to change the email address then log out. Logging back into the old email address makes no sense. I did that & it didn’t update. Your app creates an entirely new account EVERY TIME. Now when I try to change it, it says email already in use. When I log into the updated email, it’s a new account. That’s on you & your app. PLEASE FIX IT. Telling me I created a new account by mistake. THAT’S YOUR APP’s DOING. NOT MINE. CHANGING EMAIL ADDRESSES SHOULDN’T BE THIS COMPLICATED.

I have a home based cake and cookie business which means I have a large supple of pans and cutters and various other tools. I’ve been wanting something to help me to locate and search my own supplies for what I need for a project that also will tell me where to find that tool. This is that app. I know can search for any cookie cutter and not only see what I have but what bin it is stored in to make retrieval easier and clean up as well. This is absolutely perfect. I’m slowly organizing my entire tool supply with Peeknest to make project planning that much easier. I could cry tears of joy. This is perfect.

When I first trying to find an organization app, I downloaded a few. this app is the only one I kept and continue using still! It is so user friendly, everything is In Front of me! It does the calculations of the inventory! It is great for home, small business and my endless beauty products. I also appreciate that this app made it so easy for me to make suggestions. I just send a message within Peeknest , I usually get a response within 24 hours! Download and try it yourself! I love Peeknest!

I make cookies for a living (@yennoscookies). Before this app, I was constantly digging through bins to find the cookie cutter I need (I have A LOT of cutters). I was able to log and categorize all my cutters - over 1000 - over a couple of afternoons and now planning and finding what I need is easy, and actually fun!! this app brought the joy back to my design process. Also, they were super response when I asked for the “notes” field to be searchable. They made it happen in the next update. Love love love Peeknest!!!!

I use this app for keeping track of everything I own. It makes it a lot easier to put things in storage, keep them neatly in boxes, or just stacked in the closet, because now I know exactly what’s where.

The best thing is how quickly you can enter large numbers of things at a time. One button starts a new item with a photo, so you can just plow through and do many at a time.

The export feature is great because it spits out a .csv that includes links to every photo, stored on their severs. With Google Sheets, you can turn all the links into browsable images. That means you can enter hundreds of items quickly on Peeknest , then go back later in the spreadsheet and enter more detailed, searchable info.

Peeknest has completely transformed the way I organize and keep my home neat and tidy.

This is an amazing app. My only complaint is that you cannot easily sort alphabetically. So when you try to sort it manually, it glitches out and does not move your items after awhile. It is very frustrating. After over a year of use Peeknest is very glitchy. I pay for the subscription and therefore I do not feel I should have as many issues as I do. I open Peeknest now and all my categories are there but no info in them. I spent all that time adding all of my collections last year and I cannot just open Peeknest to see if I have something or not.

For years I made attempts to inventory our home’s contents but always gave up because it was time consuming and a hassle. this app makes the process as simple as possible and now I use it every day, adding new items as they come, and building my long delayed home inventory. It has also made it easy for me to find a shirt or necklace to wear without digging through my closet. I am so grateful for this app!

I collect fiesta dishes and Peeknest is a great way to create and organize my collection. I can easily update my collection and I can view my collection by color or by category. I love that I can export the files. I can email the saved files to view in my laptop. I’ve used the help option and the developers are super fast to respond.

We have a second place which we go 3 times a year. I took inventory of everything in my closet and dresser. The last time we went down, I didn’t have to pack any clothes with me.
I’m doing now my primary home closet so I know what I put on a box that I am not willing to give away or throw away.

Yearly based subscription a bit pricey but I use Peeknest as my own personal wish list to keep track of clothing and shoes I want to be buying in the future!

Be warned! Unless you pay a subscription fee, you can only upload 5 items a day for free. It’s really a huge shame because I love the interface, Peeknest ’s ease of use, and how similar it is to Snupps (RIP Snupps). If this app would have been more upfront, then I wouldn’t have minded and wouldn’t have written such a bad review. Heck, I would have even paid a one-time fee to download this app! Alas, it wasn’t meant to be and I shall be going back to Flickr to have a digital inventory of my things.

So far I’m really happy with Peeknest with a reasonable price I love being able to create my own or pick from one of their templates if you’re needing an app to keep an organized inventory of just about anything this is a great app Seriously give it a try you won’t be disappointed

I started using this for my Girl Scout uniform collection but have expanded it to all my supplies. It makes it easier to see what badge supplies I have when planning activities so I don’t spend our hard earned money.

I’m usually not a neat freak but Peeknest really helped me get my things organized when I was moving. I love the new features like sharing links of folders with certain items. Helps my friends and I keep track of things we’ve borrowed from each other. So cool!

First off, customer service is amazing! I use Peeknest to keep track of my kids’ clothes as we get a lot of hand me downs in larger sizes and I know where gaps are for them when I shop for the next season.

I love it Peeknest is very easy to use and simple no drama no confusion to organize your things by category, you take the photo, write the description.

When you need something, just go to the search write the name and immediately tell you where you placed it, it saves you time.

I search for an app like this. I like how you can have separate folders, add pictures, copy and paste, and how it calculates the totals. It is AWESOME. I can only pray that it continues to stay the same or gets better!

Peeknest is helping a ton in keeping track of everything! Having pictures and locations of stuff searchable is a game changer for us. Highly recommend!
