Proscenic update has created a problem for the A8 air purifier. The older version worked perfectly. The new version prevents the air purifier from responding to the “Schedule” function and does not allow the air purifier from entering “sleep” mode. When trying to select “sleep” mode, Proscenic sends back an error message (dps data type error 3005).
I informed Customer Service and they replied that there is indeed a problem with Proscenic update and this will be fixed in a future update…no update so far. this app needs to fix the bugs in Proscenic or at least provide a way for customers to “roll back” to the older version of Proscenic that worked perfectly.

I just bought my M8 Pro and it worked perfectly with the old app. When I was notified about this new app, I downloaded it right away and followed the directions. Proscenic does not recognize my WiFi (2.4). I tried using the other app, but now it won’t recognize the Machine. This is not the first time this has happened. When I bought my last machine, they updated Proscenic and I could not connect my machine. Please fix whatever is wrong with Proscenic.

This new app which is prompted for you to download when you try to access the old app is pretty terrible. It would not connect to my Wi-Fi. I am pretty tech savvy and after multiple attempts with my multiple machines nothing connected and I ended up deleting this “new” app and I am back on the old one controlling my humidifiers (807c & 808c) perfectly fine. Hopefully this continues to work.

You can’t connect to the humidifier, it keeps asking to connect to the device as a wifi and it can’t even recognize itself. The humidifier is a piece if crap as well. Doesn’t blow hot steam like it claims. Feels and looks cheap.

It took me forever but I got the new app working… here’s how. 1. make sure your on your 2.4GHz network. Have your phone on your slow wifi… the one that the old wifi euipment works on.
2. the screen where it asks for your SSID twice, really wants the old wifi SSID and its PWD in the field with the padlock icon.
3. the next screen wants you to connect to the filter thru wifi.
If it fails, remember to have your iphone on the old wifi before you start.
Good luck and to support… you guys really screwed this up through simple language mistakes…. costly mistake that a little user testing could have solved…. tisk tisk

I have a vacuum/mop combo and this new app does not allow for you to mop and vacuum at the same time as it use to. There is no option to schedule a time for the vacuum to run I hate Proscenic and now I hate the product that uses Proscenic

Whatever you guys did broke Proscenic and my machine. I cannot connect to WIFI anymore when it worked perfectly with the old app.

This new app does not allow the 850 device to connect at all. Tried all networks tricks and it’s useless. fix it as you vacuum was expensive.

I can only turn on and off some of the functions. However, I can’t change vacuum speed or water flow.

Alexa can no longer find my device ever since I downloaded the new app. My device also keeps “unbinding” and I have to rebind it constantly.
