Hours - Tracker & Time Clock Reviews

I us Hours because I paid for the year subscription. But I will not do that again unless some things are fixed. For one, there is no way to delete a job if you no longer have it. Also, I am constantly having to restore my purchase. Every time I open Hours it has reset to free and will not let me do anything until I go into the settings and restore purchase. I am very frustrated with this issue. I have never had an app that you purchase a subscription for where I have to constantly restore it. The only time I have ever had to restore a purchase is if I had to reset my phone, got a new phone, or Hours got deleted and reinstalled. With Hours, I have to every time I open Hours . If that doesn’t bother you then Hours works great. If you are like me and monitor more than one job it will be irritating.

I do like Hours so far, it’s user friendly and has the option to customize different jobs which is great for the freelance work it do. I like the notes tab so I can document what specific task I was working on in that time slot. You can adjust your salary per job. You can filter which jobs you view per work. This is great when wanting to view the total this app for only one job. You can manually log this app from the past or track in real time with clock in.

I didn’t rate this 5 stars only because I would like to see even more. For example the option to view my this app per month and per year. I’d like to also be able to see the sum of one entire project through months or years. I’d like the date to show the day of week or maybe a calendar image.

I’ve had Hours for two weeks and it works well. I wish I had it as soon as I began working at 16. It makes recording your this app easy which is so useful for those of us with hourly wage jobs. No one is gonna make any tricky mistakes with your paycheck when you’re armed with this!

I do wish there was an option to clock out for your break and have the time not go to your paid total. I don’t have paid lunches so it skews my earned amount by a little. Otherwise a terrific app! Highly recommend!

I love Hours! I work a rotational shift with random this app every day. Hours allows me to keep track of my this app, especially when I jump around from location to location with the different job tabs. Comparing this app and pay with my pay stubs there is little to no difference!

If I could change one thing in an update, it would be to be able to add the end of shift date. There are many times that my work is overnight shifts and it overlaps at midnight. It would be so much more convenient to just add in that I start on say the 12th at 10pm, and end on the 13th at 4am instead of making multiple entries.

I needed an app I could log separate this app each day since I don’t work a typical 9-5, I do chunks of work at a time and this was the only app that let me do that. So far it’s great but it’s been all of 5 minutes since I downloaded Hours . And so far I wish it would give you all the this app added up for 2 weeks and not just one week at a time. Otherwise it’s great.

I paid for the annual subscription because of the robust web app and superior IOS UI. Unfortunately after 5 weeks, I am unable to access the web app (it keeps asking me to upgrade) and the IOS app displays an intrusive banner, also demanding that I pay for an upgrade.
The support is responsive (thank you Kaela) but ineffective. I’ve recommended, 3 times, out of frustration, that they export my data, delete and recreate my account, then import my Data. Instead they are asking me to send a data dump from my phone, when the issue seems clearly rooted in the web and sync interface.
I guess the lesson is to not judge and app by its UI.
I am requesting a refund and recommend that you look elsewhere if you have a serious time tracking requirement and you want an IOS and Web app.

it’s super easy to use and the free version has been really good for me lately ! i love that as soon as i clock into work i can clock in on my phone too and it’ll record my this app for me, i can go on break as well with Hours so it can record EVERYTHING! i love that it shows me what i should be getting paid makes me feel secure and ahead of my budgeting ! once i start making steadier money probably gonna do the paid version but i wish all those great additions were on the free version :/ some people might only be able to afford their bills..

I really appreciate how quick and easy Hours is to track my this app. Sign in and sign out. Can fix if I screw up by not logging in or out at the right time. It even gives a running total for each week, proving that I actually work more than 40 this app a week.
This is an excellent app!

I’ve been using Hours for almost a year and have the paid version. It’s basic and keeps track of my this app. The down side is once you create a job you can’t actually edit the job and have those changes stick. I can only delete it and loose all my history. That also means whatever reminders you set up also will go forever even if you are no longer currently working that job. I regret paying for Hours and am currently looking for something else.

The UI is the best among all other time trackers. It’s really good and it’s the main reason why I’m craving to use Hours .

But there are two major issues.

1. Since I subscribed to a Personal plan, I don’t see a way to go beyond five projects. Neither would it allow me to create a project, nor would it invite to upgrade the plan, nor would it allow to switch plans. How can I do that?

I’d like to use Hours to track my daily habits. Such as working, reading, surfing the web, working out, etc. I need to track more than five activities.

2. There are no graphs. So you can’t understand the ratio of time spent among the projects. No trends as well.

If the developers could fix those issues, that app would be the best one for personal time tracking.

I’ve use Hours for about three months now and it’s great. I just wish they would add like a geo field feature so I could mark what my work place is and it auto starts the time in and time out. That would be a really sweet feature. Then again Hours works flawless already. Thank you!!

I wish there was a way to submit the amount earned when providing the dates of work to my boss. Maybe I just haven’t figured it out but every pay period I have to manually figure out the amount earned.

Also, So often when I input a break it messes up
And doesn’t record breaks/work periods accurately. Again, could be my error but I’ve been using Hours for a year and tried trouble shooting often with no improvement.

At work, we don’t have a conventional “time card” system. So Hours is the next best thing! It’s been a real life saver, (and money saver, as before I would just guess/average the minutes. Turns out I almost let myself get docked a full hour of pay by doing it that way! 😱) Definitely give this a go!

I love the simplicity of your app. The only suggestion I have is if you were able to add a total for each day, that would be helpful. Reason I am suggesting this, I am an employee who needs to work 40 this app a week. I make my own schedule, so some days I work six this app some days I work seven etc. It’s helpful to know what I’ve done each day so I know what’s left to do on the last day. Please consider my request.

I was cutting myself short for years on my this app and pay until I found Hours and I brought it to my bosses attention he’s been killing me on my this app and pay. He figured out what he thought he owed me and of course it was short then I pulled out my phone and it calculated it up and he was like oh lol surprise sucka pay me. Great app!

Overall this is a great app. I like the simplicity and it’s easy to track this app at my multiple jobs. A few updates would make it even better, though.

1) daily hour totals
2) graphs or some sort of charting to show how much of each day/week went to a certain job etc.
3) option to add more than 5 jobs

So easy to use. Especially great when you have multiple jobs you’re keeping track of as well as keeping track of your this app monetarily is a great feature. Would recommend to anybody!

My only gripe is that it is set to only track 5 jobs. I am tracking 6 and would like to add more (to track specific clients) but the reporting is set up for only 5. I was able to export everything and see it in Excel, but I couldn’t select one of the jobs. Seems like an easy fix to permit an unlimited number of jobs.

You open Hours - name your job, and press okay and it’s blocked by a pay wall.

If you need to pay 2.99 to be able to do this - then I’m good just writing out my this app by hand still. You’re asking for 2.99 a month just to be able to RENAME the job you’re calculating the this app for from “sample job”. I dont need a sample, I need an app. Maybe be a little More transparent that Hours is the trial version for an app that isn’t free. That’s basically what this is.

So I’ve been using the extremely limited free version of Hours for a few weeks and now all of the sudden it won’t allow me to make ANY entries unless I pay for an entire year. I was actually going to purchase it at the next pay cycle in a few days so I could start tracking with all of the paid abilities… but now I won’t because I think it’s trash to call this a free app when it clearly won’t let you do a dang thing after two weeks or so worth of entries.

The this app app is an amazing tracker for those who don’t have a punch in clock and have to track their own this app. One thing that can be added or “improved” is roll over dates. Like myself, sometimes I work past dates like Monday at 2pm and leave work at 1am on a Tuesday morning. Doesn’t added up when you try to manage it backwards. Overall best tracker app

Hours itself it’s great, it’s simple but I’d be really nice to type in the this app instead of scrolling and also I don’t know why the preset time is 7 , what I mean by that is what if people clock in at 7 , if they do clock at 7 the this app won’t add I mean yeah you can just type in 7:01 but it’s just a minor detail that it’d be nice if it gets fixed other than that pretty cool app 🤙🏻

Try to revamp Hours . Because I for one and like most workers I know. There pay is from Monday to Friday and Saturday goes on the next weeks pay. Try to make it so we can move days. Example: sat and Sunday we can put on top so our this app are included in the same week. However love Hours .

Great and useful app to use to become more organized with overlooking this app worked as well as budgeting based on pay and taxes.

Only bad thing is that I accidentally deleted Hours and I can’t restore my purchase of the upgrade I bought previously to deleting Hours .

I thought the ease of using Hours was great. In time I’ve noticed that the “add break” function does not work. It appears to work at first but then you’ll notice that the break you’ve entered has the same clock-out and clock-in time. There aren’t many options in Hours either. Good idea that could be a great free app. Unfortunately it falls short. I’m looking for the next time keeping app now.

Love this, however it would be nice to have an option for 1 week and 2 weeks.
Also the option to review prior weeks.
Love being able to keep up with my this app.

Love Hours ! Makes it super quick and easy to simply tap in my this app in and this app out. Keeps me on track with very little effort, however it would be great to see a daily calculation vs. a weekly total.

Although I like Hours it would be easier if you could just type in you time instead of scrolling through like you do when you’re setting your alarm. Also think it could auto calculate the time after every entry instead of having to manually do it.

I really like Hours for its simplicity. It would be great to have a section where you could see how many this app you worked that day. I have to work 40 this app a week plus this lame 2.5 this app of “lunch break” that’s useless...so it would help a lot. Sometimes I work 9 this app a day and another I work 7.5. Thank you!

Hours is simple to use and it saves the information. It would be great it had it for two weeks but that is just my opinion.

Hours was amazing I would suggest my friends to get it and it was the best thing ever now these updates are nasty I liked the simplicity of Hours now they messed it up 🤨 nice job 😒

I know it help calculate the this app you work but maybe you can make it to where it calculates your pay as well with the this app.

I’ve been trying to add my this app together with simplicity and yet when I add all 5 days and 3 of them are 9 hour days it says I have 16 total this app. I tried many times to get an accurate answer but never got a correct one. I don’t know how Hours got a 4.5 rating but it doesn’t even do what it’s supposed to do on the simplest level.
