SOLUTION "Parameters missing or malformed" I found a way out. Go to the website, login, and pay for the subscription from there. The app will update accordingly and everything will be fine. I hope. Worked for me.

Cant submit card details to pay for membership. Tried two different cards and tried both scanning the card ( which didn't work on either card) and then entering the card details manually. Both cards the option to submit the card details is not active or available to submit the information and proceed any further with the payment.
I can’t renew my subscription
I've been having exactly the same problem as everyone else who has posted here. Won't accept payment and I'm getting the same messages that everyone else has posted on this page. I bump into loads of people at the docks who are battling with trying (and failing) to hire bikes using the app. And since the September system-wide update, paying at the machines at the docks is unbelievably slow and painful. Especially now that the '24 hour hire' option is gone. Have to go through the *full* hire process *every single time*. It's so painful, it's almost worth switching to hiring one of the myriad of electric bikes!
Is not accepting my card details. I've just created an account. It's saying details missing or malinformed. They are not malinformed.Please help.

App is crap, doesn’t retain credit card info and is asking me to put card details again, then it would say error, that card is already in use. So I’m unable to use the app now this is bullshit who designed this shit?

Same as everyone else. Stopped working a couple of months ago. Tried many times. Now have to use terminal which takes minutes to generate a code and leads to big queues. So frustrating!!
Cannot add any card details via the app, so no way to get an annual membership - fix it!

Same as everyone else. The app worked fine until about 10 days ago and now all I get is an error popup about SDK and parameters are missing. Have tried numerous times to re-enter my info....to no effect. I have checked online and it has the correct card details and have tried to re-upload card details on the app without any luck. the base stations do not accept contactless to make matters worse and then are SO SLOW to give you a physical code. Service is falling off a cliff. We are doomed!

Tap the code into the docking point and you’re good to go! • Become a London Rider - complete challenges and hire cycles to earn entries into a weekly prize draw! Each bike release code is valid for 10 minutes at your chosen docking station. The official Santander Cycles app from Transport for London is the only app to send bike release codes straight to your smartphone. So you can skip past the docking station terminal and get on your bike quicker. Simply register with your bank card, and use SantanderCycles to ‘Hire now’ from a nearby docking station. Follow the instructions to get your bike release code. If there are no bikes available at the docking station, don’t worry. Santander Cycles is the self-service, bike-sharing scheme for short journeys in inner London. You won’t be charged until you use the release code.
