This is one of the nicer tuning apps available. Very accurate and easy to read. Some of the features should be unlocked without having to pay as I am weary of buying an app will not let you take advantage of at least a few features to judge its overall function. Recently including internal adds really takes away from the uniqueness and clean look of the tuner. Again this takes away from my willingness to purchase ProGuitarTuner and the adds are uninteresting anyway. I do not pay attention to internal adds while tuning. Partners are not getting their moneys worth. Overall though, this is a nice looking and accurate tuning. Partners and developers need to be more creative in regard to internal adds and subscriptions.

I keep deleting ProGuitarTuner and it keeps coming back but it doesn’t work period at all it just goes back to my home screen instead of ProGuitarTuner , I delete it, it comes back, the icon doesn’t even look correct. How can I delete this corrupt version. I love ProGuitarTuner but this isn’t it. Any help here?

I used this product for a day or two, then paid $5.99 to upgrade so I could do more with it including turning ON my iPad microphone which works just fine. It isn't listed as wanting access to the mic. ALSO I wanted to turn the display so I could see the tuner in lanscape mode (easier to see for me) can't do that either. I see NO difference between downloading the Free version vs the Premium. I can ONLY use the tuner in portrait mode and only for guitar. Something is seriously wrong with the overall programming. My iPad works just fine.

By far the best turning app I’ve seen on here. Not only is it quite accurate, but I love that to upgrade to premium features they have a one time fee option instead of forcing you to pay for a weekly subscription.

I was having trouble with tuning my guitar for a while. I think the clip on I had was just bad. So I downloaded ProGuitarTuner I was able to tune my guitar in three minutes tops. If you want to tune your guitar and don’t want to mess it up I highly recommend ProGuitarTuner.

I downloaded 5 or so of the top rated free tuners and this one was the best by a pretty wide margin. The second best IMO was the Pano, which was a pretty solid tuner except the way the screen jumps around was too annoying for me to use it. This one is the best without a doubt. It’s the one I kept on my phone.

Previously left a review asking about why there wasn’t a way to make custom tunings, turns out there is.

Emailed the support team and they got back to me very quickly and were extremely helpful.

I am prepared to pay for the Pro edition, but as a VoiceOver user, it’s not a practical app. Somehow when VoiceOver is on, the tuner audio is routed to the phone speaker and the audio is of course significantly reduced, making the string identifiers and the tones difficult to hear. It would be great if this could be corrected by forcing the audio output to the main iPhone speaker. Should that be fixed then I’ll gladly change my rating.

I’m finally glad to have found a tuning app with New Standard tuning. Even if it is a premium feature it is still far cheaper than buying a tuning pedal. So thanks so much.

I had upgraded to premium before, but now ProGuitarTuner is telling me I need to do so again. I am unsure why. Every time I try it tells me there's an error and to contact you. So, this is what I'm doing. Hoping you can help get me back to premium again without having to double pay.

If this is resolved I'd happily give five stars. It's a great app otherwise.

Love ProGuitarTuner , best tuner I’ve used so far. My only gripe is I bought the premium upgrade on my iPhone, but it won’t update on my iPad.

Update: got it to work eventually. Totally forgot to update this review. Thanks again for this great tuner.

I’ve been playing guitar professionally for 50 years, and have used basically every tuner made. This is as good as it gets.

I could adjust it so that for standard tuning let's say, if I wanted the big E string tuned 12 cents under 440 and the next string 10 cents under, etc etc, the tuner would remember that. Is this even possible I don't know, but it would be cool. Minor grip for an awesome tuner

I already own the premium version but have switched to iPhone. How do I restore my purchase? No option to contact in settings..

Very, very accurate. The microphone might be a little to sensitive, especially in a room with some noise but it still picks up the strings just fine.

Five years at least. My google phone died now a new subscription is required. Never got a response from these folks regarding my previous subscription but it looks like it’s become a life time check every month in perpetuity. Seems high for an E tone.
Apps like this take the fun out of life and music.

This particular tuner seems very accurate.
I made the mistake of paying for ProGuitarTuner which only stopped ads from appearing but no new features. A bit overpriced.

This is a great and very flexible and useful tuner. Great graphics, handy and intuitive, this is a great app.
Note to developers: it needs a Buzz Feiten tuning and I agree it would be very cool if the user could program anything they want.
