Guitar Elite-Chord Play Center Reviews

GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter originally recorded directly to mp4, like most music apps. It was possibly the best guitar app on the market. After various updates, it now records through the device microphone, causing the expected large amount of distortion. Even with the full paid version, this renders it virtually useless for recording and sending tracks. It has become essentially a practice toy rather than the formidable recording tool it once was. On the good side, the developers have been pretty good about correcting errors to make GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter usable. Perhaps they will correct this one.

I really wanted to like GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter and I thought the qualities were nice. I just wish there was at least one left handed guitar to practice with. I tried flipping the iPad, but it forces the guitar to be in one direction. I couldn’t reverse the chord orders to at least hold the iPad upside down either. It’s quite tricky trying to teach myself upside down because I’ve got the proper left handed guidebook. Maybe if none of the guitars can be a left handed one make it possible to ‘reverse’ the chosen guitar so we don’t have to learn upside down. 😐

Great app. Been using it for a while. Doesn't work with earphones tho. I tried using Airpods Pro, but audio output does not change from speakers. Any secret I/O mapping menu? Maybe in the upcoming updates? ( Also I believe a strum pattern library should be available, just like DAW guitar VSTs. 8 isn’t always enough )

As soon as I saw this in GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter Store I looked at it and I never actually played a guitar so I buy is it and I saw how cool it is this game is so amazing you can record stuff you can record your own guitar and even have one I love it this game is amazing

So I am left-handed so it’s really hard to do this game so I gave it to stars because it’s just like I’m left-handed it’s like please can you make like a version with right handed and left-handed if you were left-handed I would not recommend this game. But if you are left-handed and you like this game then it’s good for you are you get it like sometimes yeah just if you’re left-handed then you might not like it.

I like GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter , but it would be really cool to have a feature where you could customize strumming and picking patterns to the save and use again. Is that possible?

The auto strumming and strumming styles are gone. I don’t know what to say. It’s basically a new app with hardly any features. Hopefully the old features will somehow be resurrected. Auto strumming was very good. That could of used the ability customize the chord progressions and maybe a simple sequencer to record the progressions. It’s a lot of work. Best of luck.

This is a very helpful app if you are a new or beginning guitar player, not only is it fun but very educational. Like most apps you only have access to one type of guitar, the others you have to buy a premium account to use...but what do you expect?

The sound is great effect pro but the sound is too short, it's gradually it stops quickly the sound is too weak
I will give 5 star if the sound is long strong voice like professional

All but one of the guitars are locked behind a paywall! I am about to delete GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter . I thought I was getting a good app, but I tried to use one of the guitars and then I wrote this review to warn people not to get it unless you want to pay for the guitars. I am twelve and I like to test free apps and games. This is one of the worst ones I’ve tested in my 6 years of testing.

30 chords to save!! Great sound! If only it was rotation free, I would give you 5 stars... Definitely will support GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter...

I can honestly say this is pretty good. I don’t usually rate, but this does feel like a guitar. I really like how I can do chords manually; which is really cool.

I don’t play guitar but with GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter I can put together some really cool sounds. Please keep adding sounds and improving.

First you start GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter and it forces you to flip the iPad so that the home button is on the left. I prefer the home button on the right. Strike one. Then when you load the guitar, the strings are facing the wrong way and you have to flip the iPad back, but now the chord buttons are upside down. I’ll pass.

Best guitar app I've seen so far for usability, features and "bang for the buck." Much better than the $9.99 Real Guitar Pro by Gismart.

GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter is ok but I wish you could add songs and then they would teach you how to play it!

Even after purchasing this in App. I keep getting the annoying purchase pop up and unfortunately there is no help I could find in GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter forcing me to write this review.

Wants to push an ad to unlock what I’ve paid for, then won’t restore my purchase - not an app you can rely on, a shame since the sound was decent for what it is.

I like it but it needs a restore purchase button.

Thought this that would be cool but it’s pretty lame. Ads galore! Every time you choose a new guitar you going to sit through a dumb ad, I know nothing is free in this world but can’t anyone make just a plain free app, these can’t cost that much to make.

I own Capo (paid version) OMGuitar (paid) GeoShred (paid) and of course Garage Band (they have a selection of guitars) and many other apps that either simulate guitar and or are sampled) and I feel that besides GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter “Guitar Maestro” the PAID VERSION that GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter is far superior than any on GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter market. As far as apps that are MOSTLY FREE then GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter has them ALL BEAT in my opinion. However I have not tried it as an IAA ....So I pray it does have that in the paid version. (Fingers Crossed)
I’m a guitar player... Les Paul, Martin, Alveraz, and a Fender Strat. But when I am stuck for new inspiration, or if I just have an idea I want to quickly lay down...(meaning, I just don’t want to pull the guitars out and mic them, or use the iRig cable directly) Prior to GuitarEliteChordPlayCenter I will have used one of the apps listed above...but from this point I will use Guitar Elite. The sound quality is top notch, the latency (on my iPad Pro) is brilliant.

So the sound and layout is amazing... I will check how the IAA Inter-app Audio works with Cubasis, Garage Band, Table Top, EUM ....

Bought the full version, but the recording feature does not work. Sometimes I will record and it will say no music has been recorded. Other times it seems to put two pieces on top of each other, to create some sort of nightmare sound?

Wait, I have to pay money just to play more guitars that’s just Stupid and the guitars don’t even sound that good like try, playing cannibal corpse on one of the guitars, crappy app, like just stick with GarageBand and not download this garbage!
