Wow!

I love the way you went up on your prices, then put a dollar off, on sale! Prices are getting ridiculous! You don’t have yogurt type ice cream any longer! I used to get coupons in the mail! Not any more! What’s the problem? I have nothing to order. I’m lactose intolerant. The quick meals, would be nice, IF they were good! I tried the fish, the spaghetti, really don’t care for any of them, except the sweet n sour, which has too many peppers, hard chicken, so I’m at a loss, as to ordering! Beef tips n gravy aren’t bad, but really expensive. Add to your menu, but keep the pricing affordable. Your veggies are great, as is your chicken.

Broke pockets

I absolutely love the food presentation and freshness is always great!!! being a single mom of six kids I have to buy several items to make one meal it would turn to amazing if you had larger portions for big families. There was a couple time food was freezer burnt but customer service handled it without any issues… prices are crazy high yes and it’s difficult but the food is amazing would shop more if prices was lower this is a treat to my family some ppl go out to The restaurant we ordered from Schwans

App works perfectly fine

Just downloaded YellohDelivery this morning. I looked over at what everyone was reviewing and I can’t seem to find the issues. YellohDelivery works perfectly fine for me... if your new to Shawns yes they are a little more pricy at times and there maybe foods your not a fan of but it beats going into public to shop! I love their meal ideas and our Shawns man Steve is the best! He suggested we start preordering so that we can reap the benefits to ensure we get our favorites and also get all the points and rewards! I can’t find a single thing wrong with YellohDelivery ... that’s why I’m giving them a 5 star!

The lady before me that is also disabled said it all for me too!! My complaint if you want to call it that or maybe a suggestion is a better word would be to LOWER YOUR PRICES AND LOOSE THE SALT SHAKER!!!! Larger portions when you have single serving items so we don’t have to fix 2 of whatever it is.
I know things are expensive but look for those of us on Disability our checks are just not enough to support your prices We love you guys and hate to leave you but y’all need to help us disabled ones out a little. Thank you. I hate to sound grimy but I’m only telling you guys this for your own good.

We ordered expecting delivery the next route day. The delivery wasn’t made that day and when I called customer service the first time I was told the delivery person had two deliveries left and mine would arrive in a half hour. Two hours later it hadn’t arrived so I called again that person told me the order was definitely on the truck and would arrive in one half hour. 2 hours later no delivery so I called again and was told that my order wasn’t going to be delivered for two weeks. I explained that if it wasn’t delivered the next day I would cancel the order and be done with Schwan’s. To their credit it was delivered the next day. This isn’t the Schwan’s service I have experienced in the past

Out of everything

I had high hopes for doing business with you. Alas, I made several orders, only to find out you cancelled many items AFTER confirming you had them at the time of my order. I never would have squandered my first-order discount for 3 or 4 items. By the time you finally shipped my food, weeks later, you had run out. It was only after you shipped that I found that out. Besides that, your frozen fudge pops are terribly low on flavor. Are you sure they’re chocolate? Whole experience was very disappointing. Each of the three times I tried to order.

Down hill

I have been a Schwanns customer for several years. YellohDelivery is bad the old app was better. I need a delivery receipt, I used to get a email receipt, now I am told that has been discontinued, my delivery has been changed from a different city . My new delivery man hand led me a bag and said my order was complete with one exception ,however I was short another item I ordered 2broc and cal and only got 1 . Was I charged for or two? I emailed a question and was told they no longer answer emails. This company must have changed management. Not the same company nor the Same services .

App Suggestion….

We are retired and live at 3 different locations during the year. Why not allow me to change the delivery address on YellohDelivery ?
Also, I would like to buy a gift certificate and have the Schwan’s truck schedule a delivery for the gift recipient. Could this be done on YellohDelivery .
Good food! Don’t mind paying a higher price for quality products!

This review is strictly about YellohDelivery itself. Not your service or your food which is actually pretty great.

Please invest some time into making a quality app? This is just a wrapper for your website and it functions poorly. There are times when I attempt to add things to my cart and it does not work.

By contrast, I open Safari and place my order quickly.

I realize this is not where you may wish to invest your dollars but this is the future of the supply chain process. Meaning if I cannot order the food via YellohDelivery you will have less customers due to the perception of the quality of YellohDelivery , as it is customer facing, reflecting on the quality of the business overall.

If you prefer not to invest in YellohDelivery , then consider removing YellohDelivery from the storefronts. No presence is better than poor presence.

Good food if you can get it.

This is the third time in a row that I’ve not had a delivery on the scheduled date. I have called the other two times and complained that has worked well I see. Is the date just a guess on the delivery date? Do you not a good driver pool to make all deliveries and pick and choose the deliveries? Is there a limit that must be made to lock in the order to make sure you get a delivery? Could someone explain this please. Thanks for the help with this matter. If you do get the product it is good but not sure it’s worth it anymore.

Always a Fan

My mother and wife were long time fans of Schwanns. After they died, I lost interest in continuing but my daughter in law gave me a package of Chicken Florentine during this COVID crisis and I was amazed at the quality of the food. Practically every spoonful was packed with a large piece of chicken. The flavor and sauce were outstanding. Truly worth the price. Needless to say, I downloaded YellohDelivery and I’m a customer again. Thank you, Schwanns!!!

Update stinks

After you updated YellohDelivery two days ago, it opens on my I-Pad and 5 seconds later is closes. Nothing but a blank screen. I have tried this five times with the same results. Please fix!

I'm disabled and with CV19 still a threat going to the g.stores here, Schwann's is the best possible All-Around solution!
With the best ice-creams on the planet they also have the best veggies selected right from US producers that are brimming with nutrients and pop with flavor!

Drivers a no show

I’ve been buying from Shwans because of the Covid 19 came out. Have a big problem with delivery driver not showing up on delivery days. I usually order over $200 worth of produce but for some reason I see him drive by and not return with my order. I have found they have great stuff and not so great just depends on your tastes.
I can’t count on this guy showing up so I’m dropping them.

I am of a family of four, Schwan’s is the best way to get absolutely delicious food at home. The prices are perfect some people aren’t looking at the gas saved nor the convenience of not going out to the store. Everything is as it should be don’t change ☺️

High prices

For you who complain about the high price of food, think about this. Do yo have any idea what that truck costs and how much it costs to run and keep that food frozen? And how about the packaging and shipping shipping? How about the storage until you decide you want it? And how about the family he has to take care of?

I think we would all agree that Schwan’s is quality food, but it is not the food we are paying for it’s the service of having it brought to your door. So enjoy your meal and forget when it cost ten cents for a quart of milk or a loaf of bread!

Packaging

I wish they were packaged in different colors for different variations. I open my freezer all I see is red and white bags. This makes it frustrating when looking for a item and I have to pull everything out of the freezer to find the correct bag.

Awesome Burgers

You have the best burgers ever, please can’t you make them available year round? I wouldn’t have to stock up and freeze so many just to have them throughout the year. The ice cream is awesome and so is the pies. Burgers and junk food! What could be better delivered to my door!

Worst ever

Don’t get me wrong, I like Schwan’s food and I like our driver, but I will NEVER use YellohDelivery again! I placed an order with a coupon and it charged my card. When my driver showed up, he knew about the order but only had one thing from it. I showed him my receipt and he went and got the items and wanted to charge my card agai without the coupon. I called customer service and they wer ZERO help. Get your system straight Schwan’s or stick to the old school way. Terrible experience!!!

Their food is actually pretty good. I have been a customer for years. I am so sick and tired of their delivery service that I have had about enough. I have been given three different delivery times in the last two weeks and no one has showed up for any of them. This isn’t the first time either. Last month was the same thing. Reschedule after rescheduling. No one ever shows until maybe two weeks later when you are already scheduled for. About six months ago we missed delivery for two months. But when you call the answering service never has an answer as to why. You find out next time a driver shows up. I used to order a decent amount. But stopped when service got so terrible. If I felt someone cared, it might be different. You can never receive a straight answer though or god forbid some kind of complimentary compensation

My List

Schwans app is great for ordering. I’m giving a 3 because they changed the My List function! I used this to see what I have on hand and with kids, we cold scroll through the images and choose without having to dig through the freezer. Frustrating that it’s changed.

Love service HATE new app for IPhone

I have been a Schwan customer for over ten years and have used YellohDelivery for about half that time. This latest update is beyond terrible for use on an IPhone. It no longer is user friendly, and lacks much of the former functionality. I will be deleting it and ordering some other way. Really hate losing the convenience of placing my order this way, but all the great functionality went down the toilet. Graphics are great once they load but the same information is either gone or buried. (The printed catalog has become the same way-visually it looks great but little useful information is included) May work on iPad but beyond awful for iPhone!

Always great always better

I have been using Schwan’s for about 4 years. The food selection is fantastic. Even when I screw my own order up in YellohDelivery , the driver still gets it right.
We live 2 hours away from a major city, yet we still get great dependable service. Unfortunately their rising prices on my fixed income will soon be limiting my choices. But I still highly recommended this service, and YellohDelivery works great for me.

What happened to the app?!?

I have been a customer of Schwan’s off and on for over 20 years, but have only used YellohDelivery for the couple of years... This review is for YellohDelivery only...

I don’t know what happened in the last update, but it all but killed YellohDelivery as far as I’m concerned... I have a gluten allergy and in the past had no problem finding my GF items; however now unless I search by the exact name of the GF item, the search shows little to nothing... Worse yet is that the search brings up items that are obviously NOT GF free!

Developers: Please look at YellohDelivery again and make the fixes necessary...

It’s fine, but a a simple thing would make it a lot better...

YellohDelivery is and work pretty well over all, but things that would make it better is either have it remember the log in, at least an option for it or, fingerprint log-in. For something like a quick update to an order I have to put in my log in info again. Which over all isn’t a big deal, but it is just extra steps to something I feel it doesn’t need to me.

Poor service

A few weeks ago the driver never showed up yet somehow charged food to the house. (Luckily not our cc, just the house to make it look like he was here.) He doesn’t show up again this past Tuesday 10/29. So I order online & set delivery for today, 11/2. It doesn’t show up so I call to see where it is and Eric at customer service said the driver never did his route today and it can’t get it here till 11/6. Must be nice to decide you just don’t want to do your job some days. I had them cancel the order and the stop at my house every 2 weeks. I will NEVER order Schwan’s again‬.

Great food!

I have been a Schwan’s customer for several years and this the food is high quality. I love the single meals for a delicious quick dinner when I have been out all day. My delivery driver Mark is courteous and friendly and always gets my order right. I have introduced many of my friends to Schwan’s by bringing scones to teas and appetizers to parties. Keep up the good work!

Wish sign in was easier

I hate that there is there no option for fingerprint sign in and the remember me checkbox does nothing. Having to look up my user name and password every time is a total pain. Other than that, I love the service, the quality of the food, and YellohDelivery is easy to use once you get past logging in.

I recently joined WW and I wish the catalog also included the points associated with the food item! They lied to me

I REALLY do not appreciate being lied to by your drivers. They told me I have points on my account TWICE. So I go ahead and decide to download YellohDelivery , so that I can use my points, only to be told by their support that I don’t have any points because I ordered off their truck. I have spent a-lot of money ordering from them over the last several months.
So their support offers me $2.59 in points?! THAT IS RIDICULOUS when I was told I had over $50 in points by their drivers!!!
I will never order from them again.

Loved the service - hate the latest app changes

I order often but this last app update has ruined it for me. Honestly if I had wanted to use the html website I would have done just that, but the last changes to YellohDelivery here has removed much of the customer specific functionality or hidden them entirely behind broken links. please return to the previous version, I won’t use YellohDelivery again

App will not work on iPhone.

When I updated the Schwan’s app it no longer works on an iPhone. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years, but service has gone downhill over the last year, and the delivery driver doesn’t always show up as scheduled. Food quality has also decreased, but prices have gone up. Be careful when ordering frozen fruits, because now there are a lot of stems and sticks with the fruit, so go through it carefully before making a smoothie.

App and website need work

I love schwans food. But my schedule requires me to order online. The company has pushed for years for us to ORDER ONLINE. Yet this site and app rarely remembers my login. Though it always says it will. They offer sales but times like right now, I can’t get the order to go through. I can’t even get my cart to open. It’s hard to order with these time sensitive deals when the clock is ticking and I can’t get into the cart.

Schwans will forever be schwans no matter what stupid name they give it. Lately, probably due to selling 80% of the company, product sizes are getting smaller and prices are getting higher. I think I can find products in the grocery store to equal Schwan’s and I will say bye bye to YELLOH.

I've been a long time customer. Schwan's was always known as a Ice cream delivery company with pages of quality products. But lately the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Schwan's only has a hand full of ice-cream flavors to choose from. I don't under stand why the company has chosen this route. The delivery person has been great but now they decreased the delivery's from two a month to once a month. Sad to have to say this but after 40 years of being a customer I believe it's time to part ways.

I ordered our Christmas dinner a week before & scheduled delivery for 12/23/21. I got a text from Schwan’s that day saying my delivery would be coming. I work 12.5 hr shifts as a RN & got home, it wasn’t there. I called “customer service” & a woman in a VERY thick accent said it wasn’t coming that day & not 12/24 or 12/25 as they don’t deliver those days. I could have had someone pick it up, but no one called or texted me updates so that was not going to happen. The lady rescheduled my delivery for the Wednesday AFTER Christmas even though I told her to cancel it! I later called again & spoke to someone fluent in English & she said there was a driver shortage in my zip code & this no deliveries. AND NO ONE COULD CALL OR TEXT TO LET ME KNOW? RUDE, CALLOUS, UNCARING, DEF NOT THE TRUE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS & of course the top heavy upper mgmt called GRINCHES wouldn’t think of getting their fat asses out of their gold lined chairs to maintain the company’s reputation. ExCustomer!!!!!
