I have been using Wemo Mini (first generation) and it has been working fine without issue. So, I want to expand this remote capability and bought three more. But then after installing and following the instructions, Wemo app could not find /detect the new plugs. Tried all the different suggestions: reinstall the app, restart router and check router (my router did show that the new Wemo are the new 2.4ghz clients) - that meant the wifi setting was set up in the new Wemo Mini, but somehow the application Wemo APP does not detect the new ones. The problem now I have is after resintalling the Wemo App on my iphone 13, the original working Wemo device is no longer there! And tried so many times for the last three days reinstalling, installing, resetting, restoring and numerous review of the router setting, still didn't get it working! I even tried on another iphone 8, and used another email account to set up a Wemo app account, but still didn't work! Somehow also strange that I didn't understand why it needed to connect to Wemo Cloud! Does the Wemo Cloud store some configuration setting and hence caused this issue if my configuration changed on my iphone? They now become a piece of junk!
Downloaded latest Wemo app 2022-10-17. App just shows spinner when checking for firmware update.
