Samsung S20 and getting the message, 'App has a bug'. Uninstalled the App and trying to install the update from APKmirror - that App is even worse, riddled with adverts that are deliberately placed so that you click on those rather than the download you actually want, very frustrating

New Version Crashing. Please fix the bug Hik. for Now, this old version is working fine 4.20.0.1111. Can download by google.

Delete current app.. Go to apkmirror and download older version of Hik Connect. Worked for me and least I've access to cctv for for now. Will update to newer app in a few weeks when it should be resolved.

Go to hikvision appstore to get the latest version 4.25 of HikConnect. Mine works well after update.

I have managed to resolve the problem on my Samsung Android A52S 4G by downloading and installing V4.24.1 and restarting and it is now working as before.

Same as others, suddenly from nowhere, app has a bug and closes on start. Wont start since. Reinstall doesnt help, changes nothing. I had an older installer file, gave it a try and it works. Phone is a Samsung S21 with the recent G991BXXU5CVGB. Version of the installer that works is 4.20.0.1111. So I think its something in conflict with the recent apk and this android. Thereafter, it doesn't work at all and couldn't go in at all as it briefly kicked me out or close immediately. I tried many times to uninstall and reinstall, and the app couldn't work at all. Once I reinstalled again and click open..., The msg shows " Hik-Connect app hardening plug-in is experiencing anomalies" Another clicked again against the app, it shows "Hik-Connect runtime exception" and " Hik-Connect is experiencing crashes. Pls contact ..." My family members which are using Android and i-phone which had have no issue issue to open it. It's because the new version (v 4.24.1.0715(166) 2022-07-18, 19:38.34) app is not so compatible to my Vivo x70 or some other phones as well or the app has its own issue? pls help to provide solution . Downloaded older version and got app to work again. Obviously problem with new update. Tried several older versions before finding one that would launch on Pixel 4a so your mileage may vary.

I am a network engineer and install hikvision product on a daily basis. Never any issues until today, I'm assuming an update was released as android no longer works, IOS is fine. Frustrating as all our Devices are android and with over 200 live systems a lot of our clients are having the same trouble and understandably concerned. We actually installed a solar powered system yesterday. The unit cost £1200 + Vat and then installation, travel, hotel, expenses + other costs all came to a high invoice for our client who was extremely happy with the outcome, that was until he woke up today. As a CCTV installation company we will look after this client at a cost to ourselves. I would ask what hik are doing about this for us all out there using there products???

Hello There is a bug on the app. Saw many users having same issue as app keeps crashing. The issue seems to be with some android versions though as on my work mobile which is a samsung a02s the app works but there is a latency on the time whereas on my s22 ultra it keeps crashing.
