WRDW News 12 Reviews

I like WRDWNews12 but it seems more and more notifications are being sent out. A lot of them I feel are unnecessary. It is stories that I could wait and watch on the news or read it when I check WRDWNews12 . I have even turned most notifications off except for breaking news and severe weather.

Just moved to the area and I’m loving this station — they keep me up to date on everything around the area and they’re fun to watch in the mornings. The push alerts are great because I can just glance at my phone real quick to be in the know. Keep it up!

For the past couple weeks app won’t load and force close immediately.

I used to like WRDWNews12, but it’s gotten to be so much about the ads, it’s hard to get to the news. With so many news sources out there, why do we need this kind of barrage of unwanted content? I was ok with the ads being at the bottom (sort of) but now you got to sit through a long ad before you can get to the story. Sorry, WRDW. I know you don’t care, but I gotta delete WRDWNews12 .

4 stars because when I get the notification of an update, it's not always on the site yet. So I'm clicking everywhere to find it for it not to be there yet. If I get the notification of a wreck, shouldn't I be able to read about it too?

I tend to use WRDWNews12 for local news as I do not have television. However, WRDWNews12 will crash two to three times every time I go to look at the news. And it will also crash while in the middle of an article. And as others have mentioned, the spelling and grammatical errors are a bit much. Seriously considering switching to another news source.

I like WRDWNews12 & use it a lot. I usually don't mind the adds that appear inside WRDWNews12 cause you have to pay the bills. But now there is a full screen add that opens every time I open WRDWNews12 and I have to close it to get to the news. This is unacceptable. I may have to switch to another news source.

I’ve had WRDWNews12 on my old phone for years. I just updated to a new phone (iPhone 12) and it’s saying WRDWNews12 a virus. I’m concerned not just for myself but, for others as well. Please check into this.

First class team with a great app. I really like the live radar & constant updates.

Good source of of local news but the full page advertisement is getting old.

Every time I open WRDWNews12 and click the news articles it force closes. How there isn’t a bug fix or app update yet I don’t know. Surely I’m not the only one with this problem.

I can’t read the news articles for the constant closing of WRDWNews12 , would appreciate it if this could be fixed. This has been happening for quite some time now. It’s getting pretty old....and the grammatical errors in the articles are atrocious.

WRDWNews12 in general is good, however it pushes ads that will drain your battery

I will get it get a breaking new notification about something that happened the day before. I cannot believe some of the things that makes the news. The live news crashes and Meredith cannot read.

There is an abundance of irrelevant ads and junk content to make browsing WRDWNews12 worthwhile for local content. It also likes to crash.

I njoy opening WRDWNews12 to stay in the know

Great way to stay up to date with everything going on in the CSRA.

I can't zoom on the image. The pictures are too small.

Too many ads & notifications that pop up don't take you straight to that news story when opened.
