I have had problems with my phone since installing CommBank app. It started when on looking at my bank statement my account had been got at, and money deducted by persons unknown, [it is being investigated] The Bank employee i saw told me that I had to cancel my card and she set up my CommBank account. The first problem arose when she showed how to use cardless cash withdrawal, on pressing view for the cashcode 8 digit number, and 4 digit pin number both numbers vanished, or did not show. I had to make a withdrawal via the bank. i have gone to the same bank ATM on the Sunday and tried cardless cash withdrawal and the same thing happened. i found out later through my own eforts that the numbers are also sent to 'notifications' on my phone. I looked in notifications but there was only the 4 digit pin which vanished as I touched the screen to enlarge the figures, but even so it was of no use without the 8 digit cashcode. My phone has now stopped working completely 'no touch screen' It is Samsung Galaxy S20 5G with top android system, and all updates installed. I cannot withdraw money as I am still waiting for my new card, and cannot use cardless cash withdrawal because my phone is not working, any suggestions? I cannot access my Samsung account [ not a financial account ] to sort out the phone problems, as they send a verification code to my none working phone and therefore I cannot verify.
