Scam

First off no one answers the 800 number it rings for 10 minutes and then just hangs up. It doesn’t even let you leave a message. Trying to get a refill (weight management) is impossible. I accidentally left my vial out of the refrigerator and still haven’t got a refill let alone a response in regards to this situation. I paid 348 dollars plus 99 more for the medication and will be seeking a refund if I don’t hear anything by this week. Ridiculous and the initial dose I tried didn’t even effect me. Really bummed out about the whole situation, be careful and good luck.

Bad communication. STAY AWAY!!!!!

While the doctors at LifeMD are top-notch, my experience trying to manage my subscription and medication access has been an absolute nightmare. Three months ago, I easily paid for both online in just minutes. Since then, it's been nothing but hurdles and delays.

Don't get me wrong, the doctors are fantastic. Professional, attentive, and truly dedicated to their patients. Unfortunately, everything outside of the actual doctor's visit is frustratingly inefficient and uncaring. It feels like nobody else understands or even acknowledges the struggles patients face trying to access basic needs like their medication.

For three months, I've been stuck in a bureaucratic labyrinth. Every time I call customer service, I get the same runaround. Escalations seem to evaporate into thin air. Now, I'm beyond disappointed – I'm utterly disheartened.

If you're looking for excellent medical care, LifeMD has some of the best doctors I've encountered. But be prepared for a battle if you need anything else, like paying your bill or getting your medication on time. This system clearly doesn't value patient experience, and that's simply unacceptable.

I wouldn't recommend this practice unless you're prepared for significant frustrations and delays outside of the actual medical care.

Poor poor patient care!

Do yourself a favour, do not spend a dime with this company. I purchased a 6 month membership what did I get for my $, a lot of work on my part to get a refund of my money. Not sure even what the refund will be because apparently they are going to deduct my services from it. My services were a phone call from a care provider who I had to repeat myself to because she couldn’t understand or hear me, lab order that was not sent to me as I was told on phone call. I had to call to get the lab order sent to my portal because the care provider neglected to add the order to my chart. I sent many messages through the message link with no response to a very delayed response. The only way to get something done through this company is to call customer support. Read all reviews before spending a dime with this company.

Slow Communication and Process

Expect it to take months before anything even gets rolling, including replies to messages. It took some constant messaging, some answered and some not, to get the initial steps going. I think they may actually mean well and to perform the service they sell but they are probably too overwhelmed with clients to serve all of them. I gave up and put in my cancellation request. On that note, yes you have to explain your desire to cancel and submit it. I don’t know yet if my cancellation has yet been approved.

Okay, but don't trust with CC info

I signed up for a six month program. At the end of six months they tried to charge my card for a full years subscription (almost $800) without any notice. When I tried to contact them I got no response. I tried 3 times to reach someone in customer service and never got a reply. I just received automated emails back. As for the medical side of thing, I spoke to the same provider in the beginning a few times, and then different providers every time after that. Some were professional, one was incredibly rude and wouldn't answer any questions I had. Overall, I wouldn't sign up for this program again, and I definitely don't trust their billing department.

This App is Terrible

Kept me waiting four months before I could get an answer on insurance. Then when I didn’t have coverage I told them I’d pay and how long would it take. Then they said I had to start over with a new provider and it would be weeks before I could get medication so I cancelled the membership. Then then next week they shipped medication to me. WILD.

Scam?

I paid $387 for a 6 mo subscription. They said they needed to verify my insurance. After a couple weeks and verification still not complete they offered me an alternative medicine similar to the one I was requesting and charged me an additional $299 for the prescription. They sent an email saying my prescription was “sent to the pharmacy” and now I have no access to my account. It says INACTIVE no matter what. I’ve changed the password and tried many times; no matter what option I choose, sign in with email or gmail account it tells me my account is inactive. So I just paid $686 for nothing. Where was the script sent to? Why is my account inactive? I’m going to have to do a chargeback through my credit card if nothing arrives.

Wrong dose two times in a row.

This company seems to be against giving me the correct dose of my medication. They are giving me less than .25 of the medication I was on before and that does not effect me. So I’m not sure what paying almost 400 for the consultation was for when I had to pay another 400 twice to not get the medicine I need. I’m trying to cancel the subscription now.

SERIOUSLY if you think the price is too good to be true, than it is with this company.

No help

After consultation no one returns my call no one returns my emails. No one writes me back it’s going nowhere it’s been a month. I’m been trying to get a weight loss shot. Turned in all my labs wasted money on that. Paid to get on the site and nothing. Nothing happens. No one answers can’t get a hold of anyone, I’ve called wrote over and over and nothing. Don’t waste your time.

Don’t waste your time and money

The cost you pay upfront is for a membership that goes on autopay but it takes 3 to 6 weeks from the time you sign up to get your first appointment with a doctor and then they hold your prescription for 5 to 10 business days which conveniently ended up being 10 business days which is 2 weeks so by the time they take your membership money you actually get your first prescription in about 2 to 2.5 months which is half of your paid membership… seek elsewhere… the run around time is ridiculous which makes the process long and tedious just wasting your membership money

Scammed

I’m unsure if it was just my dealings but until my issues are resolved this is what I went through.
First this is a subscription service that you pay monthly to have access to a doctor that will help you with a medication plan you order and pay for the medication through them and it’s not include in the price of the subscription, I knew this and chose to try it out.
My issues with this was I payed for the three month subscription I scheduled an appointment for a monday it was the only available appointment time and was 2-3 weeks out it was not very reasonable considering I was paying for these weeks for nothing essentially.
Second, I was charged for the medication and subscription at the same time 200 almost for the meds and 300 for the service. I go to my digital appointment and I’m told that they shouldn’t have billed me yet for the meds ok they will refund it and charge me for the actual price of around 100. This takes another two weeks to straighten out. At this point I’m almost halfway through my subscription.
Thirdly, I’m almost done with my first subscription and I have yet to receive my medication it says shipped and delivered never received it though and I keep getting automated responses it seems stating they’ll look into it I filed with fedex for a lost package and with LifeMD and no help.
I feel scammed as I’ve wasted over $400 at this point and gotten nothing other than stress and a 15 minute video chat.

LifeMD is a scam

I signed up with LifeMD on March 11,
2024. The first consultation went great. I paid $387 for a 3 month membership. They sent a prescription to my pharmacy for Zepbound to help me loose weight. They said they would reach out to my health insurance to get them to approve my prescription, but that never happened. It has been 3 weeks now. The last message to me is that my prescription approval was in queue. When I send messages to them now that it has been 3 weeks and all they need to do is tell my health insurance why I need this prescription for them to approve it. I can see that someone sees my messages to them but they don’t respond anymore. I have been scammed!

It very responsive

Very slow and very pushy about their “compounded meds” that are not FDA approved they are only allowed them D/T severe medication shortages this is why insurance won’t pay for it’s NOT FDA approved. My Prior auth was approved in 24 hours and it took them almost a week to send me script for a hard to get med after I gave them all the info and confirmed it was in stock no responded to me till I send a ton of messages and complained several times. Had I not already paid for this I would NEVER use them again. Just out to get their money do t actual care if you get care I wait 5-7 days to get responses and only because I send a million since when I’ve sent one days go by with nothing. I have an insurance question I submitted before my first appointment almost 3 weeks ago and still not response. Only positive is I got wegovy brand after having to seriously advocate for myself and luckily I had knowledge of how a PA works and how to check my insurance or these people would have NEVER sent my script.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THEY ONYL GET 2 STARS NOT 1 BEACUSE EVENTUALLY I DID GET MY SCRIPT

If you don’t have a medical background or can’t navigate insurance yourself they don’t really help don’t use them

App is terrible

App is terrible. It is updated constantly and is so glitchy that it almost never has every page work the way it is supposed. I use for weight loss and it stopped calculating BMI back in Nov and it’s almost February!
Home page “requires” user to respond to some urgent request - today is something about ID - but I’m. It sure because the page is frozen and won’t scroll to see the rest of the “urgent” requirement or if there is a link to complete whatever it is.
It’s a good service. However since LifeMDTelehealth is the primary way to connect with patients it really should be 1000% better than it is. Please fix it!

Nope. Rude, unhelpful staff.

My NP was helpful, however, my card was charged for a RX that did not arrive. The staff answering messages were no help. When I reached out to inquire about it, all I got were canned responses. After 3 weeks, still no RX! I finally asked for a refund on my Rx. Someone finally read my message when I mentioned refund. No one got back to me, however, my refund arrived several days later. To top it off, my account was deactivated. If you must use this company-call if you need anything. The people answering LifeMDTelehealth messages barely read them, let alone address the issue. This was a big waste of money and time.

Like the service - but latest upgrade is crashing app

I’ve just started in the last month and really like the convenience and practioners and easy, wide open hours to do virtual appts before/after work. However I updated LifeMDTelehealth yesterday and now it won’t let me progress to book an appt on LifeMDTelehealth not renew Rx. It’s giving me an error message and then I have to kill LifeMDTelehealth as it won’t even go “back”. Kind of a big deal for what this service is.

Could be better

Using for weight management and LifeMDTelehealth doesn’t update fast enough. Example, meditation that was ordered and already received still show processing no shipping details on app. I received a separate email with shipping so not linked up well.
I get an exception Null whatever that means ,so it’s not updated as should be . I have tried to uninstall and reinstall same things no actual actuate and helpful as should be.

No response

I have enjoyed the services until a week ago. I have sent multiple messages to the care team chat over the last week and a half. LifeMDTelehealth marks when a message has been viewed by the care team. It takes days for anyone to see the messages and twice now I can see that they viewed the question and I haven’t received any response at all. The one time they did respond they only answered the last question I asked…which was the least important question. Very frustrating! What is the point of having a chat if they don’t respond?

Not Responsive

Great potential, but unfortunately for the price you pay, the follow up/follow through is lacking. You essentially pay in advance for a certain amount of time, buts it’s been a month and I’ve barely received replies from my provider. I have to follow up 2/3 times and wait about 2 weeks in between responses. You try looking on LifeMDTelehealth for some form of support (customer service or something) and it’s non existent for patients. Honestly, regret getting into it at this point.

Awesome doctor and service, app needs work

The doctor with whom I was paired is awesome (Dr. Moduthagam). Very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Love the service model because I never struggle getting appointments and I don’t have to travel to a doctor’s office. $50 out of pocket for a practically on-call, dedicated doctor is, in my opinion, a good value.

I’ve also chatted with the support team. Very responsive and helpful. Really well done.

My only complaints are related to LifeMDTelehealth itself. The messaging feature is very buggy. Sometimes messages don’t send. Also messages get out of order chronologically which makes it difficult following past conversations. I’d also like to be able to view which plan I’ve subscribed to in LifeMDTelehealth and change it, if possible. Once app improves, definite 5-star review.

Friendly, thorough, and caring are the words that came to mind after my one-on-one consultation with Joslin Ruiz, APRN, FNP-C. She took the time to listen to my concerns attentively and provided detailed explanations about my condition and treatment options. She made me feel comfortable in the care I was receiving. Her comprehensive approach and genuine concern for my well-being truly set her apart.

Great Customer Service

I have been with LifeMD nearly six months. I have had consistently reliable customer service, timely prescriptions and they have been flexible on shipping during my frequent international travel. Oh, and I have lost nearly 40 pounds. Back to my ideal weight. I feel great! (Am told I look great too! just sayin’)

Extremely convenient method for a consultation

I’ve been using this telehealth app for the past 2 months and have been impressed with the service and convenience of LifeMDTelehealth . As a busy professional, finding time on your calendar to get to an in-person appointment is challenging. This method allows for a consultation and prescription if necessary. Would certainly recommend.

Nice app

It was easy to set up an appointment. Medical assistant called me about 45 minutes prior to the visit for check in and troubleshooting, which was very helpful. LifeMDTelehealth is intuitive and easy to navigate. The doctor was on time, professional and helpful. Great service!

Knowledgeable and Helpful

I cannot rate LifeMD high enough. I’ve enjoyed having them as my health care provider for weight loss for the past 6 months. They are quick to respond to questions and go above and beyond to give all their patients the best healthcare possible. Worth every penny!

Rough start smith sailing

The onboarding was a little clunky. But after that got worked out it’s been smooth sailing. The company is newer and growing. So I had to be patient with them on a few things. I found out it was worth the wait. Nothing major just a few technical bumps.

Best program I have used!!!

I’m in love and so grateful that I have found the doctors and staff at LifeMD! It’s a life changing journey. I work from home and am able to get my medication in the mail, meetings with doctors via online doesn’t stop my day to day responsibilities! It’s a game changer. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 so grateful for this program!
