This app placed my order twice and I was told by the barista to email for a refund. I did so and about 3 weeks later I get an email asking for my receipt. I would love to just go into my “orders” section of the app but it’s just spinning dots. Terrible app backed up by terrible customer service. The baristas are great but no one else behind this brand seems to give a crap. The email I received by the way was not a response to my original email asking for help with being overcharged but instead was a reply they sent to an unsolicited customer service survey. My emails were all polite but I was less polite in the survey which was intrusive and annoying. Their subject line when they relied? “Ask Nicely.”

App seems to have major issues if you deny location access. I can choose my location manually. You don’t need to track everyone. Not surprising from a VC backed company. Also, Grand Army Brooklyn location has had issues the two times I visited. A few days ago, their steamer wasn’t working so no coffee available. Maybe at least give a credit when that happens. And don’t email us saying there’s a better offer for new customers after you know we’re already a customer.

Buggy, paid for my coffee twice

I paid for a coffee and it told me there was an error and it didn’t go through, so i paid for it again. Barista at the location said it was a reoccurring issue and she would refund my order, but it’s been a week and it has not been refunded. I emailed support and they haven’t gotten to me back, despite them saying they’d reply in two business days. You’re better off going to a local coffee shop
