Follow these steps to resolve intermittent UniFi Verify app issues:

Force Stop the UniFi Verify App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click UniFi Verify app. » click "Force Stop".

Update UniFi Verify to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear UniFi Verify App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "UniFi Verify app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch UniFi Verify.

Fix UniFi Verify unable to contact server/ UniFi Verify internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click UniFi Verify » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got UniFi Verify » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch UniFi Verify on android.

About this app

With this feature enabled, users will need to provide their password and a time-sensitive verification code generated either in UniFiVerify or via push notification. Verify gives your accounts an additional layer of security by requiring two-factor authentication (2FA) of each login attempt. Verify can also supply users with a set of single-use passwords that can be stored locally on their phones should they ever need to circumvent an issue with their main 2FA method.
