Hacked

Always double login idk what is going on at all times

App lost all credentials upon update

UniFiVerify automatically updated itself on my phone and blew out all my credentials. Trying to renew it on the UI portal does not work and I am now stuck to the email verification only

What

UniFiVerify is extremely difficult to navigate. There are no apparent instructions on how to set up my wifi extender along with a second one on a new isp installed router. Worked before and now doesn’t work. Instructed to download three different unifi apps to get working and still doesn’t work. C... Show more

Requiring me to use this

You're acquiring me to use this and you're not making it easy to get the job done thanks a lot ubiquity appreciate the extra effort you put into this letting me choose if I really want this or not you're shoving it up my let's go Brandon

Needs help

Should automatically allow the two apps to communicate. If half a star could be given it would

Horrible! Locked out of my account now.

Can’t get into my account since following directions to add two factor identification. This isn’t ready for general use yet!

Pretty much useless

As a casual user, UniFiVerify is completely confusing to me. As long as I can access my camera, I don’t care about any other features or login requirements. Why so complicated?

Notifications going haywire

Getting notifications every 5-10 seconds saying “Ubiquiti login request tap to view details” and when I tap the notification it asks me if I’m trying to sign in. I’ve gotten HUNDREDS of these notifications and they just won’t stop. I guess I’m going to have to turn off 2FA and delete UniFiVerify j... Show more

Verify number change too fast

The number are changing so fast before I can enter it already expired. Wast of time and very enjoying

Verification bombing

Activated 2fa, installed app. Constant notifications. Wouldnt stop. Intrusive notifications every 3-5 seconds. All logins from inside my network, that is, from me. Me not logging in. Only way to make them stop was to uninstall. Was this from camera feeds? I dont know. At any rate, now i have to fi... Show more

Constant Unending Useless Notifications

UniFiVerify is horrible. It started sending me login notifications every second at about 3am and totally ignores Do-Not-Disturb and silent settings on the iPhone. Only way I could get it to stop was to disable notifications in the Settings app, which makes it useless.

HUNT FOR the “other apps” option!

I’m not sure why Apple keeps insisting on deleting my reviews. However, I was wrong. You ARE able to use Apple passwords/Google authenticator instead of this steaming pile of horse manure. You just have to hunt hard for the tiny little V to open up the options. I suggest doing that and NOT download... Show more

Does not work on iPhone 14

Unfortunately I can no import my backed up file on to my iPhone 14. It says “imported 18 accounts” but only 1 shows

Never sends push notifications

Have to open UniFiVerify to get the push for verification.

Not integrated into UniFi!

UniFiVerify is just a me too to the countless others that just handle 2FA hash codes. Given it’s by Ubiquity I thought it would somehow nicely tie into the UniFi ecosystem and allow entering the 2FA codes automatically into their own Apps with just a Face ID scan, but no, it’s the old manual copy... Another App for the Another app

Why force users to use your authentication app over any one that we are already using? Our organization uses One Password as a centralized account manager and we force users to use it. Locking your platform to use your verify app means we need to manage this account separately. Just let the user ch... Show more

Loses accounts during update

UniFiVerify lost the accounts I added previously when it updated. It will not let me add any accounts. It’s in an endless loop of asking for two factor Id between apps. Basically the upgrade made it useless. I wish Ubiquiti would just send the people home that mess with UniFiVerify and leave it a... Show more

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t send push notifications whatsoever. No idea why or how to fix as it’s still hooked up to my UI account and I can login via 2FA.

Completely useless at this point. Lots of reports in the forums of this happening as well. No help from UI on supporting anyone however.

Unclear gui.

There no help on how to use UniFiVerify

Buggy

UniFiVerify is downloaded on my phone. But there is no icon for it, and it’s nowhere to be found. Even if I search for it, it doesn’t show up. The only way for me to open it, is every time I have to go to UniFiVerify Store, search for it, and open it.
Additionally, the watch app doesn’t work.... Show more

Forced feedback… OK, here is some more

Application would not let me proceed without giving feedback on there performance. Needy requests for review are unprofessional enough when they can be skipped.

I wonder if I can get Microsoft Authenticator to work with my UDM?

Where is the one click UI Login?

This is just a simple 2FA app that you can add any account too. The advert on my UI equipment says UniFiVerify can do a one click 2FA type auth for login. (I assume like Google does) It does not.

Difficult to use with multiple devices (iPhones)

With 2+ iOS devices unable to manage

Fails to add on second device.

Painful. Just sits at prompt to select app

Confusion

Instructions are poor as to where the want you to do what

Needs push notifications

Please enable push notifications instead of having to search for UniFiVerify and open it, waiting for the notification to appear.

Notifications

Please add the ability to change the notification sounds.

Love the mobile app…hate the watch app

So the iOS app works flawlessly, can’t say the same about the AppleWatch app - it literally does NOTHING when trying to confirm that it’s me trying to access my Controller.

Eh

App is a bit obnoxious. I don't need a SECOND push notification (with a loud sound) right after the first one, just to tell me that I logged in successfully! Also, the notifications should clear automatically after success. Instead they just pile up in your notification center and have to be delete... Show more

Push feature and one more thing.

The push feature is amazing USE it across all of the apps on the UDM. Move UID to replace access as an app so we don’t have to login twice!!! Thank you

Works well

UniFiVerify works fine for UI access and I am using it for another app

only 2fa TOTP w/ manual export/import

this is the only 2fa TOTP app i’ve found that supports manual export/import for backup/DR. literally been looking for this capability for YEARS and so glad i recently decided to give it a try!

Authenticator Done RIght

Wonderfully simple authenticator, easy to backup and share between iphone and mac desktop (thanks to the iPad app running on Mac). Very secure and reliabe, clean interface, and everything about it works.

The only feature request I have it that when importing multiple versions of a backup fi... Show more

So far it’s excellent

As the title states UniFiVerify is excellent thus far. Simple, clean and has Apple Watch support.

Excellent MFA account

On of the best I have used

Easy UniFi 2FA

So far so good. Dark mode please.
Thanks

Very nice product

Very nice product.

UniFi verify app

Just like all the other Ubiquiti apps this one is great!
Easy to use, designed very well, looks good, works every time I use it! You the man Ubiquiti !!! Love you!

Solid Tech

Like many, I’ve been using Ubiquiti gear for years now. Super easy shopping experience. The U7 Pro looks pretty interesting.

Features

Verify can also supply users with a set of single-use passwords that can be stored locally on their phones should they ever need to circumvent an issue with their main 2FA method.

With this feature enabled, users will need to provide their password and a time-sensitive verification code generated either in the app or via push notification.

Verify gives your accounts an additional layer of security by requiring two-factor authentication (2FA) of each login attempt.
