Enjoy news coverage, weather and sports. I live in north Adair county in Oklahoma. Would remind you when doing the weather please step back so we can se the radar in our area. We are locate about 6 miles west of Watts, Oklahoma. We can receive TV stations from NWA and Tulsa. But because of our location in the foothills of the Ozarks often NWA Relates better to our location. Thanks to the News team also I moved to Fayetteville in 1982 and retired from Arkansas National Guard after attending the Arkansas Military Academy and retired from Superior Ind Int’l in Fayetteville. After retirement I had to move to Oklahoma to care for family. But still have friends in Arkansas and serve as commander of the American Legion Siloam Post 29 in Siloam Springs, AR. So I still have an interest in the News in NWA.

Although we watch your news we are not that die hard loyal follower anymore, if we catch your broadcast fine if not that is oK too, you have become far to bias and fall under the fake news category, you are totally against reporting the facts just talking points of left leaning pundits, try getting back to reporting truth

5 news will always be our favorite go to for local news, but I don’t like the weather app being discontinued! The radar on the new app has plenty of flaws that I won’t list here, it will be extremely frustrating to those who aren’t tech savvy or just want to check the radar. The radar on the weather app was great and very user friendly! I evened used it while my husband was working in the Florida Keys and it was extremely accurate! Please consider bringing it back!!!

App is good to provide local news and weather in NW Arkansas. However, the ads are more invasive than ever! Today, an ad for a local cable company keeps popping up the same video every couple of seconds, looping until you close it. This makes 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas almost unusable when reading news stories. Sometimes the videos stack on top of each other! Offloading 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas today, maybe I’ll check back in a few months. Also wouldn’t hurt to remove some of the data tracking.

I love watching 5 news and think the actual news station is great. But 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas ads are awful!!! Please work on these ads, because they are disgusting and annoying and most of them look like spam of some sort. I wish there was a way to read just the news without seeing all the awful ads that pop up! I’m actually going to have to delete it if it doesn’t change.

We are a retired military family who moved to the area back in 2004 at which we’ve been hooked on 5NEWS. We tried watching other news casts but end up going back to 5 news. You all are an awesome group of people who know what they are talking about. Thank you for all that you do for this area.

Ive loved 5 news all my life. Im old enough to remember chandler, Bill Pharis, and people from their era from when i was a small child. I was thankful then and still am. You’ve got some top notch people in your employment They're all really good at what they do and it seems like they enjoy doing it. Rock on 5 news!

I hate these things. They ask you to rate these things and then it takes you to this ‘write a review’ page. Well this morning it took a full 2 minutes to load. I would just give them a bad review but I’ve been watching channel 5 since my family first got a TV 60 years ago. I would prefer to watch chan 6 in Tulsa but federal law prevents it.

I always rely on 5 News to bring me the fastest ‘breaking news’ and updates. I really look forward to Erika Thomas’s reporting and how she is so respectful and personable. 5 News is the only station for me.

5NEWSNorthwestArkansas keeps getting worse and worse. All I want is to read over news articles. It’s impossible to keep up with the news in their app anymore. Click on a story to read and it’s an instant video add and video you have to watch you can’t just read a news article. If I wanted to watch the news and adds I’d go home and watch tv instead. 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas is losing my support.

I miss my shows and all my news coverage on Att I wish all this silly nonsense would stop what ever is making y’all go off the air with Att it’s making me just not want cable and just use an antenna I miss y’all your about the only channel I watch and you and fox

i love 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas , i always used 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas to check on the news, but all of a sudden there’s these Cox ads that constantly pop up. and when i say constantly i mean every 5 seconds. i literally can’t do anything or read anything fully because of this freakin Cox ad that pops up. i started going over to the 40/29 app because of this

Good app but I still like the 5 news weather app there anyway I can five minutes weather app mark either use a fabulous weather app and it was years and if I move out chop you up and brought it back to 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas Store thing there anyway

I am so disappointed with the new app. I have all the news notifications turned off yet I’m still getting them. The weather map will not mark my location even though I have location “on when using app”. It will only work with the location on “always”. I really liked the separate weather app. It was quicker to get to, and more relevant for me than what I’m seeing on this new app. Sorry. Channel 5 is still our primary news and weather station, but I’m don’t like this new app.

Seriously rethought. You had one of the best weather apps for local weather, and it’s discontinued. Now this is what’s supposed to replace it? Tiny icons, no rain percentages from a daily outlook except for one day at a time. 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas keeps freezing and I have to uninstall and reinstall. Not to mention the ads. The ads are over the top and ridiculous. Wow what a way to completely drop the ball. I have no idea how 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas has so many good reviews.

Very much appreciate the news; however, I am concerned about the weather folks. They make comments about “all the rain”. I am a farmer in western Washington County. We need rain!!! We have not received “all the rain” Ft Smith has so we are really hurting. So I really get irritated. If we don’t get rain in September, our farms are in bad shape.

Since I cut the cord I’ve been looking at a lot of different apps for news and Chanel 5 has by far the best and most informative news both local and nation wide and with a hometown feel to it.

On one hand, it’s local news and I appreciate that. One the other, I notice that you other are adopting more of a liberal bias.

Now, it’s 100% okay to be biased, one way or the other, as long as you don’t claim to be objective. That’s just trying to condition people and everyone can tell. Now, If you all have said that you’re a liberal news station, please tell me where. If you haven’t said you’re a liberal news station, you need to.

So my point is here: don’t try to force your opinion on people, or if you’re going to be liberally-biased, let people know.

I’ll keep 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas for AMBER alerts and such, but this is a really underhanded way to write about politics.

5 News is our go to for all news and weather information. Love Garret and Darin Bob along with all their peers. Always watch the morning show and love it. Love keeping up with everything on the new app. Great job 5 News!

How is 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas getting 3 Star rating when all the Comments are 1 star????? Must be all the Ad sponsorship. Thanks for making your app just as worthless as 40/29 app. Your Format is a Terrible Design which I can see is only benefiting you since you can now put More Ads. Don’t know why you call yourself a News Company when What you guys think is Breaking News is really dumb. Whoever is playing at the amp is NOT breaking news. 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas is Going into the Deleted section till Changes are mad

5 news weather has been my go to weather app for years. The hourly forecasts are important to me as well as the radar maps. This new all in one app makes me go thru video after video or has a 5 day forecast that is the one they show onscreen during the news. Unfortunate and this no longer meets my needs for a quick easy glance at weather. Finding new one and deleting.

I do not like it. I am not a techie anymore and both my wife and I are having multiple problems. Install the new one with many difficulties, then exit out and try to use the new app and it wants us to install it. Won’t let us change the default location! I could go on, but I’m just too frustrated!!!

Wish there was more local news and sports.

I like it so far! Everything all rolled into one app! It will take some getting used to but I like the change.

Prefer the separate weather app. I don’t want all the news story notifications, just weather and that’s not an option. Weather section isn’t as easy to use as the old one either.
Deleting and will go back to a national one I suppose.

All I want is to be notified about weather events important for my family safety. 5NEWSNorthwestArkansas notification system is screwed up .news notifications are off an yet I keep getting news notifications and not weather ones . Looking for new app

Not very easy to navigate! I personally liked the old apps for news and weather separate!

I just want notifications for weather not “breaking” news. I have nothing selected for that but still get it.

They really don’t have a clue what they are doing after moving to NWA. Stopped watching.
