I REPEAT. DO NOT USE THIS BANK. I have been fighting with them since November to close my account and get a check for my account balance. Except they will not include my initial deposit of $140 in the check. The reason I’m closing the account in the first place is because after messaging them 3 times they would not reflect the $140 deposit in my balance. To be clear the $140 deposit shows in my transaction history but not my balance. I finally called after getting no where with messaging. I was told to send screenshots of THEIR OWN APP to them so they could see the deposit on my end and they would review it. Nothing happened. No call back. 24 hours later I get a message that my account has been frozen and flagged for fraud. All of a sudden I can’t do anything with my account until I provide pictures of my SS Card, driver’s license, and mail. Absolutely insane. They are literally stealing my money and now they want a copy of my SS Card?? Why, so they can steal my identity as well?!?! This bank is an absolute scam. Please, there are so many other online banks. Do not make the mistake that I did.

A lot of these reviews are from IDIOTS that think BreadSavings is for their credit cards that Comenity finances… Even though it clearly says (if you’ve opened a savings acc with Comenity BreadSavings is for you). These idiots obviously do not know how financial company’s work and the fact that they do offer options for an app, however it’s up to the clients/stores to sign up for that option. It costs more for an app option so most store cards don’t opt in for it. If you’re one of these idiots that downloads BreadSavings and think it’s gonna work for your credit card, you should reconsider your education and common sense. It’s not hard to read the descriptions, you’re basically useless if you need someone to tell you these details….

It’s nice that you’ve updated the transfer feature… I no longer have to take pictures of checks for deposit I can just click a button and move money.

They’re nothing but useless,i have to call for a chargeback because they won’t allow me to withdraw my own money and after they ask me to provide bank statements for them to lift restriction off they turned dump and deaf to your messages with bunch of excuses! I’ll advise whoever want to download BreadSavings to for Christ sake run for their money because they won’t allow you to withdraw your own money and if you try be ready to confess how you made even this money! They’re useless and heart. I understand why they said they’ve donated over $1.2million and are over 30years! Sitting on peoples money

A recent update improved app functionality. Also, when I need to move money from an external acct to my Comenity acct, the transfer takes place quickly. My other online banks are much slower to execute the transfer, resulting in a few days of interest being lost.

Navigation is easy, however you cannot use WebConnect via Quicken, due to security MFA, however other banking app have solved this problem with security linkage through Quicken. As an alternative BreadSavings could support export of a QFX file so at least you could manually load it into Quicken without entering them yourself by hand, which is prone to human error. QFX export would at least bridge the gap until true WebConnect is available

BreadSavings, along with your website has GOT TO BE one of the MOST frustrating things to use. I needed to create the account to sign in to manage and I went to the website , logged in to get the account number only for it to be starred out. Why isn’t there another way to access this info when logging into / signing up on BreadSavings ? Good lord please fix. It’s all a painful process.

It is almost impossible to transfer money out to existing external accounts because the system keeps asking to add the same account over and over again. I talked to Jennifer several times and I am still unable to transfer out. I am close to close this account

BreadSavings itself is good and functional, but I feel that support from the bank is connected to it, and the support is lacking, so I just can’t give it a high rating. There are issues with messaging the bank, and after I send a message I often don’t hear back for days. (It took them a week to respond to my last message!)

BreadSavings is confusing to me and I have three online savings accounts. The adding a new account feature gives you a very short window to verify account!

I’ve had the worst time using this bank. i’ve called several times because my account has been restricted since i’ve opened it and every time I call they never know when it will stop being restricted. I wanted to change banks initially because It’s not easy to put money in from my other bank and now I can’t even take my money out to close the account.

Multiple attempts to open a certificate of deposit for a year using my community savings bank balance. I’ve gotten a denial of approval even though the money is there and there is nothing to approve or deny. Customer service also zero help functions within BreadSavings super clunky. I’ve done much better with online banking with CIT Bank. Transferring my money away from here!

BreadSavings is super easy to use and looks so clean. Very user friendly, however, I can not view messages in my inbox that I see otherwise online. Satisfied!

I requested my account be closed months ago. I just sent another request. I’d be weary entrusting your hard-earned money with these guys. Only reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because at least interest is continuing to accrue and be paid monthly on my funds.

Support messages sent from a browser don't shop up in BreadSavings , and neither do responses from those messages. Fix that, and it's easily 5 stars.

My Orbitz Visa got moved to this- ok, no problem. But I can’t login to BreadSavings , even though I have it OPEN in my browser. Something is not syncing. Not impressed- no way to deal with it via app interface and there is no reason to change my password

My Salon Centric credit card is through Comenity bank, but apparently BreadSavings doesn’t work for it. Every other credit card has an app. It’s annoying that I will have to memorize the website to pay my bill. I’m not going to go paperless if there is no other way to be notified of my bills. Come on man!

They will charge you an out of this world fee of $10 for transactions they call “quasi cash advance” which means if you are gambling they count that as a cash advance even if it’s not directly converting to cash... And they won’t give you any notice of this or a warning!!! Terrible customer service and Comnetiy bank is terrible terrible this company might be worst than Comcast!!! AVOID AND CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT IF YOU CAN

Was very happy with Capital One and then Sony/PlayStation switched to Comenity. Can’t even use BreadSavings , which would be much more convenient. Keeps telling me my credentials can’t be verified, even though I can log in using a browser. I have had several problems with the bank overall since the switch. Not happy.

Fluid, easy to use, customizable app. I like the transaction alerts. Customer service responds to messages within one business day. Comenity pays higher rates than most other online banks, too.

User Friendly

Used exact same login info as it is for the website and wouldn’t work. It seems everyone is having this problem. Good to know it’s not me, it’s a glitch. Needs to be fixed. Will be relying on website now only. I’m not going through the process of resetting passwords for it not to work still.

BreadSavings is lacking in many areas, it does not show scheduled transfers. The only way to see scheduled transfers is to actually sign in through the website. If I need to sign in to the website in order to get vital account information then what is the purpose of BreadSavings ?

Not user friendly. It looks and acts like a bare bones app and isn’t even attractive. It’s actually so bad that I stopped using my card associated with this bank and started using another credit card because their app was that much nicer.

BreadSavings doesn't let me sign in and i tried to contact the bank about it but apparently their app developer site license expired 121 days ago from today. Ridiculous.

Couldn’t login so I changed my password. Still couldn’t login after. Went on to the website typed my login info, and it worked. Not sure what’s going on with it. Please fix.
