Starship - Health Savings Reviews

My employer has been using this app since I joined the company a couple months ago, I receive emailed statements from them once a month that notifies me of my account balance. However, every time I’ve logged into Starship it’s shown a $0.00 balance and my card doesn’t work.

I emailed support, no response. I chatted with an agent and was given a response but nothing has been effective. After their migration and “new app” I can’t even access my account dashboard because I’m stuck in the new user flow, particularly the question of “do you have an existing HSA to transfer to this app?”

If I had a choice, I would never use this app HSA again. Unfortunately it’s not up to me to make this decision. I would say however this company needs to have a support line because this is pretty unacceptable to not be able to access my HSA funds for healthcare purchases for the past 6 months.

This stupid this app Health savings app is a scam, my account was frozen. and I have $3k in my account…. the Stupid this app customer care are aren’t helping me out, because they are scam!!! They keep telling me to call my linked bank to file a dispute so I could get back my money, I called my linked bank and they said they can’t do anything about it……. My linked bank said only this app Heath savings account can disbursed my money…… this app savings account is not doing anything about my money, between they logged me out of my account and i have no access to my money and account anymore….. they are scam!!!! Startship is not letting get back my money

First off I just wanna thank this app for the good experience in Starship it’s very easy to use and the customer service team is very respectful and good at explaining to me how to use Starship , This is my first time getting into this kind of app, and I just wanna say keep up the good work and just know Starship has your back and is very legitimate,

I thought because my deductible is $2500 that I would qualify and this app does not have any help to verify if you even qualify before you open the account. They do not have helpful q&a and they are not available 24/7 for chat support. Also I set up the account and now know I can’t have the account I have not deposited any money yet and Starship will not let me close the account without speaking to someone. Do not download Starship until you verify if this is available for you legally and if it is a smart financial decision.

Signing up for this app only took 4 minutes and it was completely seamless. Once I signed up, I was blown away by Starship . Starship offers a ton of handy features like overflow investing, auto contribution, receipt capture, and so on. I shopped around and saw that this app offered the highest APY around. Plus Starship is completely fee free!

I got a new health insurance with higher deductibles and was advised to open up an HSA account as a complementary benefit. this app is so simple to enroll with and love the debit card you get which connects to your spending account. Makes your tax returns much easier to deal with. Looks like I’ll be able to invest my contributions as well. Can’t wait.

I spent a lot of time trying to get an HSA opened through this app and Starship kept showing me the sign - We couldn’t open your account - We couldn’t verify your identity, even though I uploaded the required documents including valid driver’s license front and back. When I tried to contact someone in the company about it she said that my account could not be opened and she could not tell me why. Her name was Heather. This company is probably a SCAM. Stay away, imo.

Added $50 to spending account and wanted to add to my investments but, app wouldn’t let me do that until my card was made and sent out~
White card arrived and could not find a way to active it on Starship ... received an email telling me to activate my card soon via Starship but Starship says my card is being made and will be sent to me~
I already have my card and there’s no place in Starship that allows me to active it there~

After having three different HSAs over the last 7 years, I am so excited to finally be able to use this app! The ability to log in with Face ID and access my money in Starship is a game changer. It’s so easy! 🙌🏻

This makes it so easy to save real money on medical expenses. Please just make it easier to login to Starship . It doesn’t work well with keychain or LastPass, and it doesn’t support Face ID either. Fix these, and it’s 5 stars for me.

The single most seamless reimbursement transactions I’ve ever experienced. No tax-advantaged account I’ve used in the past makes it this easy to post a receipt and reimburse myself using funds I’ve set aside for health-related expenses!

Starship is super beautiful- it was a really clean interface. Card is amazing too! I’m really excited to be using an HSA that doesn’t charge me a monthly fee it’s way better than dealing with some of the other banks.

I recently decided that it was time to open an HSA, so I reached out to their customer service department. They were quick, accurate and professional with their correspondence.

I was excited about this app, but now since Jan 1st is long gone, where’s my card and why haven’t you debited my checking account for the amount I authorized? I signed up 2 months ago.

Starship makes it so easy to put aside money to save and reimburse myself for health expenses on the go. It’s also beautifully designed. Excited to see what else is in store!

I thought starting an HSA would be complicated but this app made it super easy. Starship is easy to understand and use and their customer support is super responsive and helpful.

I needed a HSA because my current employer doesn’t provide one for its employees. I haven’t any issues so far and I’ve been a customer for over a year now.

Every time I try to link my bank account to access my funds, I get stuck on the “I’m not a robot” page and nothing happens. I tried it on a diff device and then it said that my account was locked... but it’s not. I click on the unlock account button and that leads to no help.

I did my research on which HSA to get and it was a no brainer! this app has the highest APY and by far the most user friendly interface both on their app and website.

Tried opening up an account and there was problems verifying my information. When asking about how to fix this, they simply told me that it can’t be appealed and they can’t do anything. Zero effort on their part to remedy the issue or even help.

Just started using this with my employer and LOVE it! Fantastic interface to track my $$ and super easy to spend. Everyone with a high deductible health plan should be using this product.
