Love it!

Two weeks into first using WorkingHoursTimeTracking and I have already purchased it for my iPhone, my personal laptop, and my work laptop. I purchased through Apple Store, Microsoft Store, and Gumroad. I only mention this because my company laptop has disabled Microsoft Store, and I was very glad that I could still purchase and download WorkingHoursTimeTracking through Gumroad, after checking out the developer’s website and seeing the link. So, thanks to the developer for making it easy to get WorkingHoursTimeTracking through more secure avenues.

I wrote two weeks ago I loved the multi-platform support and flawless syncing - I use iCloud - and I still do.

I use this to track my project hours for work. I am in consulting so this is important. But I also use this to track other personal aspects of life and it’s been very interesting to see where my hours go.

Also, I like the clean design of WorkingHoursTimeTracking . Once you use it a bit and get how it all works, it’s a very efficient tool. And the tags allow you to set up various organization schemes.

After a year plus of using…

I am very pleased with WorkingHoursTimeTracking. I am an independent book keeper and do work for about 10 clients with 40 companies between them and two volunteer gigs. WorkingHoursTimeTracking allows me to track all am time whether billable, not billable and even my personal time usage as detailed or generally as I wish. My only ‘request’ may be the ability to do client/project/task multi categorization, but it has been an easy work around without it by using the existing ‘tag’ category and naming it by “client - company” then using the existing ‘task’ field as designed. Thanks for the great app!

Help can be hard to get

WorkingHoursTimeTracking does a lot of thing right, yet has something of the feel of a work in progress. It appears to be the best in its category and generally quite reliable, but if problems do arise (and what app is ever completely without problems) help can be hard to find. The Help button in settings leads only to a set of FAQs and you know how frustrating it can be to search through those for something that looks the same as your problem. The developer claims he responds to community forum postings but he is in Germany so there is an overnight wait at best for US-based users. When an app is crucial, you need personalized help and you need it now. If not for that limitation this is a good app and I could give it four stars.

Great app

I would recommend also having sub-task drop down options as well, e.g., if I am billing time to ‘Client A’ as a task it would be helpful to have sub-task drop down menu entries, e.g., ‘Client A’ as task and ‘Write Documents’ for sub-task or ‘Client B’ as task and ‘Approve Documents’ for sub-task. Given that the sub-tasks would be the same for all tasks, it would be good to be able to set user-specific sub-tasks rather than task-specific sub-tasks. Thanks for your work on WorkingHoursTimeTracking!

Great app but must purchase separately for each platform

WorkingHoursTimeTracking is great for tracking my time and billable hours and tasks as a freelancer who works with lots of different clients and projects. But be aware that you have to buy WorkingHoursTimeTracking separately on different platforms, it’s not a one time purchase. I had to buy WorkingHoursTimeTracking 3 times... once on Apple App Store, again on Microsoft App Store, and again on Google Play Store. Again, I like WorkingHoursTimeTracking a lot and definitely recommend it, but just be prepared to pay for it multiple times if you want to use it seamlessly between different platforms.

Really good tracker

I love WorkingHoursTimeTracking for the most part. It has helped greatly with keeping track of my business hours which has helped with quoting. Only thing I wish is that I could remove an item from the options that pop up when you hit “start work” but still show the hours on the Time Tracking page. Once I hid something that is finished so I don’t have to scroll through everything to find the project I want it also hides all the hours associated with it. Not bad, just annoying.

Highly Recommend!

If you’re like me and constantly go back and forth trying to juggle between multiple tasks each and everyday, and have to keep track of all that separated time on each individual task, then WorkingHoursTimeTracking is just what you need. Super convenient and a definite time saver.

Very easy to use

I have been wanting to sell my crochet creations and a big part of pricing is how long it takes to make the project. This is such an easy way to keep track of time work. Being able to track multiple projects at once is so amazing!!

💛💛💛 this app

I love work.. sometimes too much. 😅 I’m so glad to have found WorkingHoursTimeTracking so I can stop myself from spending the whole day in front of the computer, and actually spend time with my family and dogs, and workout. I downloaded a couple of similar apps like this btw, just so I can compare, and this is the best one. 😉

Outstanding app

WorkingHoursTimeTracking save me a lot of time very easy to use. I’ve been able to log all my time in a very efficient manner. I would highly recommend WorkingHoursTimeTracking to any small business owner. The only thing I would recommend is a way to track my location at each job site for mileage.

Excellent, almost perfect

WorkingHoursTimeTracking is great for tracking working time and tasks. It’s helped me rearrange my work schedule and better predict timelines. The one flaw is that it doesn’t sync between devices, but that might be a privacy feature. You can do a manual sync.

The Perfect Local Time Tracking app

I spent months looking for a time tracking app that would keep data locally. Imagine my surprise then, when I found an app that does that and ALSO syncs to my local WebDAV server! Excellent organization to WorkingHoursTimeTracking and the analytics and export to .csv are icing on the cake. Fantastic job and please keep up the good work!

Exactly what I was looking for.

I didn’t understand the concept of tasks at first, so when I finished my first task I didn’t understand why I couldn’t “finish” the task. But after reading some online reviews I realized that tasks are more like task types. It’s a great app.

Amazing!!

WorkingHoursTimeTracking is brilliant! Just what I wanted for tracking how long I spend on tasks, and so well designed (no frills, just exactly what you need)!

The concepts of tasks and tags are beautifully implemented, and the analytics are super well done!!

Thank you so much for building WorkingHoursTimeTracking.

Best of its kind for me in iOS

The iOS version is intuitive, comprehensive and clear.

I used this for a long time with Windows 10 Pro. A few months ago it ceased to function on that platform.I can find no way to ask the developer for help.

I have switched to the iOS version. I carry my iPad with me always now. Ten stars for iOS and 0 stars for Windows 10. I feel awful for the developer. We need WorkingHoursTimeTracking across platforms. In Windows it starts to open. Then it closes.

Have a great time with it, all who need to track their time!

Great App!

WorkingHoursTimeTracking is amazing! This connects with appointments on my calendar, making my life so much easier as I can track and log all of my hours so easily! I have saved hours of my time by having WorkingHoursTimeTracking integrate with my work schedule. I couldn’t be happier with WorkingHoursTimeTracking!

Tracking time made simple.

I use this as a freelancer and it has been a huge help organizing my hours between the three companies I work for. The interface is simple and easy to navigate. Good use of color and line indicators.

Simple simple simple

Its simple to use, learn and its a one time pay. Honestly a solid choice for freelance or to just keep track of time

Hope it can work on Apple Watch too!

Really love WorkingHoursTimeTracking and purchased on all platforms Windows/Android/iOS. Hopefully it can work on Apple Watch too sometime. Many other similar apps already support Apple Watch (e.g. atimelogger). It would be really useful to have it on watch!

You have to buy separate app for mac os

Editedit: thank you again for the reply!
Being client-oriented is the key mantra nevertheless..
The list of apps is a bit lower: ATrackerPro, TimeDeposit as examples. Read section after “edit” regarding the support of iOS app on M chip Mac OS.
Thank you for your effort to make WorkingHoursTimeTracking as good as possible! It is very important to put your soul into WorkingHoursTimeTracking and make it as good as for your own use👍

There is no need to make companion app for mac os paid. Check other developers, they make cross platform app with one-time purchase

>>>>READ HERE, dev: Edit. Hi! Thank you for the reply. Yes, there are indeed such apps. For example aTracker Pro (you are able to download iPad version for Mac OS and it works fine), TimeDeposit - cross platform. You are able to switch timers from menu bar. Approximately the same functionality as your app in term of timetracking. I understand the moment with bills, thank you for the possibility to download WorkingHoursTimeTracking and try it for free, but most people use MacOS and since we are unable to use full app from iOS on Mac (somehow we are not able to download iPad version on Mac), WorkingHoursTimeTracking seems useless

Love the geofence / auto detect

I’m new to having to track my hours (typically salary), so I’m terrible at remembering to log them. The Detect Workplace Arrival and departure with a geofence is incredibly helpful. It takes the guess work out.
