This is a great app. It gathers your feeds and with a clean interface it displays them clearly. However, when you scroll down several pages it is almost impossible to reach back the top. You need some way, an arrow, that will take you back to the top. While you are at it how about page navigation? A page up and a page down arrows. That way I can keep track on which page I read an article that I want to get back to.

1. Can’t import existing feeds from anywhere (like Feedly, for example) ... you take their choice or you manually add feeds one by one.
2. Can’t change their layout to be more headline-dense. Or in any way at all.
3. Subscriptions nets you changing themes and self-spamming emails. Even at a buck a month, this is a ludicrous ask.

Not impressed, particularly in light of many good non-subscription (or free) competitors. Might check back in a few versions, but ... other than the subscription, I’m not seeing anything that makes this product stand out from the crowd.

Tried all the RSS readers. But this one is among the very best, and I love the stripped down functionality and great UI. Very easy to navigate. Please add a “reader” function when the full article is brought up from the web; web and reader choices would a fifth star.

Large worldwide selection, possible to add own additional feeds, can prioritize feeds. Simple, clean, efficient, and as objective as one wishes to make it. Favorite go to news source.

Can’t view list of articles. Only full articles one at a time.
No apparent option to mark unread.
No help documentation, e.g. to describe the force touch option to star.
The third screenshot appears to be fake. I can not locate any such functionality in NewsRSS .

The UI is really nice, but you can’t read full articles, even for the sites that support Full-RSS.

It fails both on Mac and iPhone

NewsRSS has been abandoned by its developers.

I’ve been through every single RSS reader in app store, and I finally found an app that has a beautiful UI and great functionality. The one star goes away from the fact that you cant read the full articles in NewsRSS , which makes it less simple and productive to read the news. Please, if possible, consider adding full text possibilty to NewsRSS . Also, being able to choose a different font and being able to choose which way you want to read the news list view/card view would be truly amazing!

I like the look of this, and I really like the iCloud syncing. But tapping on a feed shows full screen articles (partial articles), which is really unusable. There needs to be a list of the articles in the feed (like the Mac version has), with an indicator on which ones are new or not. And tapping to view an individual article should show the *entire* article. Right now you have to tap through to the source to view the whole article, which kinda defeats the purpose of using rss...

I didn’t see any way to search for new feeds or add my own url (only browse their directory). There’s no article listing; each shows up full screen and you flip between them. The hiding of the status bar on iPhone X prevents you from having any idea what time it is or how long you’ve been reading. I’m not sure who NewsRSS is targeted at, but it’s not a long-term RSS feed reader like me.

Glad a decent RSS reader seems to be coming along. This is a good start but needs some tweaks to earn my money. Here’s a few.
1) Need to be able to open in Safari. Currently cannot send to Safari, must copy link and then manually open Safari.
2) Preferences has an option to show in reverse order (oldest first); does not appear to be working.

It’s a nice app with some real potential. Unfortunately I’ve already had three occasions today where it has completely deleted my rss subscriptions. Icloud sync also doesn’t appear to work even though I have it activated. If these were fixed it would be great.

NewsRSS design is awesome but lacking the ability to share stories. The easier feels are buggy and sometimes NewsRSS doesn't see when your added the feed. Catorgies are double like movie and movies.. Needs few tweaks back in the oven before releasing.

Lacks in so many areas that I can’t force myself to continue using for more than a couple minutes. Who curated the list of news websites? Why can’t I search for a specific website? Why does an article preview need to take up the entire screen? I fail to see how this iOS version compares at all to the inbox view on Mac OS.

Can’t seem to add my own feeds and if I can it’s not obvious. I don’t need a listing of news I get already on the Apple News app. Don’t get the purpose of this.

NewsRSS is super clean, super organized and really easy to use. Highly recommend

So I installed app based on info in email from Airmail. Within email they indicate WatchOS as part of release. There is no watchOS support. They lost iPhone and iPad on App Store. NewsRSS is not listed in Watch App Store. Also in general NewsRSS is buggy and you can’t customize beyond paying for a premium subscription. Uninstalling.

Love the icon; however, NewsRSS itself is lacking and annoying to use. Here’s why:

- Random full screen preview / list with super short preview and ugly shaped preview icon
- Viewing an article opens up a custom web view so no adblocking and no reader view - this is hell
- Status Bar is hidden on iPhone X, makes me anxious - btw this is against Apple’s iOS HIG
- Annoying paginated scrolling
- Typography is just chaotic, incoherent, stuff is hard to read
- Poor navigation
