Wonderful app

I must say I’ve been with nurse staffing (gale) over 20 yrs I love who I work for and I love working for them !! I’ll never work full time no where eles but for Gale. The best thing about working for Gale is that u can work whenever u want all day all night and get paid daily with no problems, I love this new app because no more faxing in your pay slips to get paid u can pick up shifts all 7 days a wk all 3 shifts. Tony the owner of Gale is one of the best person to work for very smart Man U can work as many as hours u want or less it’s up to what u wanna work. No set schedule. U have the choice and I love the fact that I have a choice to work. This is the best company I’ve ever worked for where a boss understands u can’t work every day . Tony is a very professional sweet understanding boss that really and truly cares. That’s something you’ll never find in another company. But like I said I’ve been here over 20 yrs and not going nowhere!! Thanks come join or little family and team at gale I promise u won’t want to go nowhere eles... Tawana Gooden

The app could use serious improvement

I take no issue with the company but GaleHealthcare definitely makes picking up shifts and seeing what’s available more difficult than it should be.

You have to put your availability in day by day and you don’t have the option of being available for a regular shift as well as late call, it’s one or the other.

Your only notified of available shifts for the days that you’ve put availability in which makes planning ahead difficult. You can’t see a list of available shifts, you just get a notification and you either have to take the shift then or clear it. You can’t even go back and change your mind which really does a disservice to employees and clients alike.

The notifications fail to mention the rate of pay which varies depending on the facility.

I hope that in the future they make it possible to see a list of open shifts organized by the date and shift available within a certain amount of miles set by the user. This would be a huge improvement. Even if you could just click on the day on the calendar and see a list of shifts available that day instead of having to deny shifts and then wait to see if another notification pops up.

Late call are not late calls they track you when your not at work

Tracking you when your not at work. I never worked for an agency who goes above to track your every movement (even when you at home with no intention to work)) and at the same time you go thru so much filing out a time slip. Just track my location and ask the nurse supervisor it could all be so simple. I also encourage everybody to check your shift for late calls and look up gale definition of a late call.. if it’s 8pm and gale sends you a notification at 8:04 about a shift that same day for 7pm-7am and you get there in 20 minutes that is a late call … they will try to discredit that… that’s outside of the bugs in GaleHealthcare

Old fashioned app; need a serious overhaul.

The main idea behind GaleHealthcare is interesting. But it need a whole lot of work to actually become a competitive app. It is alway my last option checking for shifts on GaleHealthcare.

In 2020 all the other agency apps have all the possible information that you need to be able to decide is you want to pick up the shift or not. Other apps list all the shifts available for the day ,as well as the pay rate.

GaleHealthcare does not list all the available shifts , and it does not list the pay rate? I wonder why? It make it tiresome to have to keep waiting for notifications to pop up to see what they are offering instead of what is available.

Eh

Pays you through a gift card that requires fees when you go to take out your pay. Few facilities and frequent cancellations. Doesn’t let you see available shifts/ facilities in any areas until you go through the whole process. Glitchy app which is slow. Sometimes get notifications on my phone before they come into GaleHealthcare , or late so the shift is already gone by the time GaleHealthcare catches up. No way for user to search facilities, have to have someone else do it for you. Probably other better ones out there.

I have been having problems with notifications

I have been on GaleHealthcare for over 2 months and haven’t been able to catch the notifications. They show up on the notifications bar but not in GaleHealthcare . I can sit there and have GaleHealthcare open and the apps in my notifications bar are not in GaleHealthcare . I have also tried to refresh my inbox… not able to. Not sure as to what is the purpose of having a app and not be able to work.. I went through a lot to get on with Gale. I’m just saying.

No thanks

App doesn’t even let you login, so I don’t even know what GaleHealthcare is actually like beyond that. I applied because they were advertising up to $1200 shift with same day pay on Indeed… I got a call back from a recruiter looking for RNs to work in SNF/long-term care for $49/hr in Southern California. That is nowhere near $1200/shift. False advertising in my opinion. Peanuts $ for probably covering 10 LVNs and 70 nursing home patients and being the only RN in the facility. Politely told her I was not interested in working in a nursing home as all my experience is in acute care. That is way under what other registries are paying. Waste of my time.

Brandi R B

I spoke with Ms Alicia Campbell this morning this review is solely based on her customer service and all of her help.

I was having difficulties with GaleHealthcare and paperwork being uploaded via GaleHealthcare so I called into the 24 hr line

Ms. Alicia was very nice, helpful and sent all of my documents herself. She walked me through the pay process and accepting shifts. She was very knowledgeable.

She even asked if I needed the pay card to ensure I would receive pay within 24 hrs. I did not so she sent the message over to order one

She was very thorough and extremely nice being it’s so early in the morning. I wish more people dealing with customers were as kind as she was to me.

Thank you for all of your help Ms Campbell

Alisha

Hello,

I had an awesome experience with Alisha this morning. I had some unforeseen circumstances come up with child care and being able to be at work. Alisha helped me and made me feel so much better about my situation. She was very professional and to the point. I appreciate all of her help. It’s not often you find someone who sounds like they genuinely care and she did.

Ridiculous App

GaleHealthcare used to sign up for shifts and to upload your time is the worst app that I have ever encountered. I work for several agencies who use apps to clock in and out in for shifts and to sign up for available shifts. I have been active with this company for almost 6 months and have literally only worked two shifts due to GaleHealthcare and its incapabilities. Also when do you have to have space on your personal device to upload a timesheet to an app? GaleHealthcare should have the capability and the capacity for this to be done! I will be deactivating asap! Not worth my time

Certified Nurse Assistant

I have difficulties with clocking out of my shift, which causes a delay in pay every time I work! I work sometimes to pay something or to take care of an immediate need and have to wait 2-4days just to get paid sometimes! This is very inconvenient! That app does make for a convenient way to pickup shifts, I Love the freedom of not speaking to a staff in order to schedule myself!

I spoke to Alicia and she helped me with my question. I love gale. The money is great and it’s like being your own boss in a way. Daniel, The Florida Account Manager has been there for me through a lot and I appreciate gale. They have been there for me through alot of struggle and I always had a job and I will forever keep gale as my Employer 😀

Haven’t seen one RN shift since starting in Milw!

After going through the lengthy onboarding process 3 weeks ago and making myself available everyday 24hrs day I have yet to see one available shift!! Thinking it was a problem with my app, I called, deleted and reinstalled GaleHealthcare as told then spoke to tech support just to be told “There are no available shifts for RNs!!” Well it’s been 3 weeks now and nothing has changed! Plenty of others that have TONS of work. Don’t waste your time with Gale in Milwaukee! Go elsewhere.

Delayed Pay.

I want to give a big thanks to Alicia C. She was a very helpful person with me this morning, I explained my situation to her about my delay pay incident, and she helped me right away and made sure I didn’t have anymore questions or concerns! Great customer service , big thanks to her!

Awesome and Caring

I have worked for this Company Since 2018 as an Staff LPN, I had to call in late due to an power outage , Alicia the on call customer service staffing coordinator was so helpful, kind and considerate. I would recommend this Company , App and service to anyone looking for employment or staffing needs.

Notifications

There needs to be an update on how we receive notifications. I miss out on new shifts because I have shifts from a week ago. I get so many notifications a day, but by the time I’m able to look at them I can’t because of old ones.

By

Only one suggestion

Although the company tells you all facilities are the same rate of pay except Covid facilities I wish you could see all rates before clicking to accept the shift or not because once you accept and don’t like the rate for the Covid facility you then have to go back and cancel the shift which looks like a call out.

Review of updated app

I’ve been with gale formerly known as nurse staffing for almost 10 years now. The New version of GaleHealthcare that they use is great! Works fast and no complaints from me at all. Works just as good as the first app did if not better!

Little storage for messages

Small storage for messages. I’m losing out on money because 5 messages for one shift at one facility was put out now 5 other facilities available disappear before I can accept. Sometime shift are put out a week in advance so you have no idea what was available before today because it was deleted. Now you can only see next week and late calls. Old app was better.

Awesome company

I’ve been working with this company for about 3 years. Very flexible schedules. If you have to call customer service for anything they are very helpful. Great pay rates. One of the best companies to work for.

The worst app I have ever used

GaleHealthcare is slow and the login doesn’t ever work. It doesn’t matter how many times you try to reset, the email never comes. Someone has to manually reset it. After resetting and logging in, it’s fine. But if you exit out and login, then it says it doesn’t work again. Constant resets needed to acces. Awful app. Would give 0 stars.
