I take no issue with the company but the app definitely makes picking up shifts and seeing what’s available more difficult than it should be.
You have to put your availability in day by day and you don’t have the option of being available for a regular shift as well as late call, it’s one or the other.
Your only notified of available shifts for the days that you’ve put availability in which makes planning ahead difficult. You can’t see a list of available shifts, you just get a notification and you either have to take the shift then or clear it. You can’t even go back and change your mind which really does a disservice to employees and clients alike.
The notifications fail to mention the rate of pay which varies depending on the facility.
I hope that in the future they make it possible to see a list of open shifts organized by the date and shift available within a certain amount of miles set by the user. This would be a huge improvement. Even if you could just click on the day on the calendar and see a list of shifts available that day instead of having to deny shifts and then wait to see if another notification pops up.

Tracking you when your not at work. I never worked for an agency who goes above to track your every movement (even when you at home with no intention to work)) and at the same time you go thru so much filing out a time slip. Just track my location and ask the nurse supervisor it could all be so simple. I also encourage everybody to check your shift for late calls and look up gale definition of a late call.. if it’s 8pm and gale sends you a notification at 8:04 about a shift that same day for 7pm-7am and you get there in 20 minutes that is a late call … they will try to discredit that… that’s outside of the bugs in this app

The main idea behind the app is interesting. But it need a whole lot of work to actually become a competitive app. It is alway my last option checking for shifts on this app.
In 2020 all the other agency apps have all the possible information that you need to be able to decide is you want to pick up the shift or not. Other apps list all the shifts available for the day ,as well as the pay rate.
This app does not list all the available shifts , and it does not list the pay rate? I wonder why? It make it tiresome to have to keep waiting for notifications to pop up to see what they are offering instead of what is available.
