I Love This App

I’m really picky about apps, so I was thrilled to find this one. It is very nice to look at. There are cute little icons (that you can use any way you want) to create custom categories for your recipes, and you can add a given recipe to as many categories as you like, so if you have overlapping ones you’re not forced to have it under only one section. You can put pictures for each recipe, which I love, being very visual. It has everything you need without being too busy/overwhelming. It’s cool that you can even choose a color scheme for RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer , so if you love/hate a certain look you can have control over what you look at. And I LOVE that it syncs across devices so you can check and edit recipes on whatever machine you happen to be using. I wish the web version was free to use, or at least had a one time purchase price, but I understand that websites cost money to maintain. I wouldn’t mind paying a one time fee (even if it was a little high) for permanent access. I just don’t like ongoing bills. That has nothing to do with how awesome RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is though. It’s fantastic. I bought the lifetime subscription for the phone app version and am very pleased with it.

And Rachel, if you’re reading this as you say you do, it would be sweet if you could add a mint/Seafoam color theme to RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . That’s my favorite. ;)

Absolutely perfect for in the kitchen.

So far I have been loving it. It has meal planner, grocery lists, and the recipes binder! I’m in love with the recipe binder! I’ve been contemplating on buying a recipe binder to fill. But honestly the digital one here is pretty much where it’s at. Every recipe is digital now so it would be silly to print just to put in a binder. I’d get it if we still used recipes that are in newspapers and on food boxes (although I use those too but not often.) I’m happy there’s a planner and list there too. I haven’t messed with that portion yet. But On the negative side I almost deleted it because of the price flash after first opening RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer after downloading it. There is a free version luckily. Im unsure what the difference is. I’m sure I can only save x amount until I have to pay for it. Which if RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer serves me greatly, I probably will purchase it. I’m happy there’s a free version. I don’t like purchasing apps without even trying it. I’m sure many of you don’t either. I’m hoping to see RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer grow. Maybe I’m due time as RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer grows we would be able to connect Pinterest and allrecipes somehow (like sign in or something) . And also have a in app friend circle that we can look at each other’s recipe books, that would be fun and cool!

Never leave home without your recipe book!

I love Organizeats for many reasons, but primarily for its portability. I have RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer on both my phone and iPad, so no matter where I go I have my recipes with me. We have a lakehouse 3 hours away from our home, and frequently the recipe I needed was in the other location. Duplicating 50 years of recipes was not practical. Now I just open RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer on my phone. The recipes were so easy to enter. I just took a picture of the recipe and copied it to the Organizeats app
Even when I travel to visit my son in N.C. or my daughter in the U.K. I have all my recipes with me. Also when I spot an enticing recipe in a magazine, I just snap a picture and enter it in RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . So easy!
I am over 70 and certainly not tech savvy, but RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is incredibly easy to use. You can even store the same recipe under different headings. You can create your own headings or use provided ones. I love having all my standard Christmas recipes together as well as ones for Thanksgiving and Easter. After hearing me rave about RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer, my daughter got it and she loves it too especially when traveling & staying in an Airbnb.
I could go on and on , but I think you get the picture. I love Organizeats and wouldn’t change a thing!

Amazing app I found so far

So I’ve been struggling for years trying to get my meal plans figured out. And I’m a emotional eater so I’ll lidget eat an entire buffet. I had learned that if I plan I tend to do a better job eating. But that was an issue. I can’t write it down on paper or anything else because it’ll just get lost or erased. And the apps I had found over the years didn’t offer all I’ve been looking for it was either just recipes and ordering food through them but it was way too expensive for someone that only makes close to minimum wage. Then there’s that plans meals but you can’t store recipes and yet again too expensive. Not only RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer allows you to store recipes you can also plan ahead. You can also organize your recipes which is really going to help me out with because I’m borderline diabetic and already facing permanent problems. They haven’t diagnosed me but they continuously testing me for type 2 but keeps coming back negative but my body is still suffering from it. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer will make it far easier to control my food intake. I do wish that it had an option for push notifications reminding me about the meal plan for the day. Unless I missed it.

Foodie Love I can share with my adult children

I love RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer! I love how I can add recipes by taking a photo of my grandmother’s holiday spice cookie recipe or by automatically uploading a new recipe I found in the latest issue of Food and Wine. I can add notes, search words, my own photos, scale up or down, and highlight favorites. I can even edit my pictures by cropping or fixing lighting etc. Meal planning, shopping and prep is easier because my recipes are always with me (tablet, phone) - at the grocery store, visiting my mom, everywhere. My children used to call for favorite recipes - now they check my OrganizEat collection first. If it’s not yet there, it’s super easy to upload…and then add a picture of our successful dinner project. I can share recipes super easily. I am constantly adding recipes and giving away cookbooks that take up space I don’t have. I find OrganizEat an indispensable tool. I’m so glad I purchased the full version and invested the time (and continue to do so) to make this a one-stop recipe gallery. I highly recommend OrganizEat to anyone who cooks, especially for folks who want to organize their recipe collection into one simple to use visually appealing, digital database.

Worth the Investments

I invested in RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer as my primary recipe keeper about 3 years ago, and I love it. It keeps my recipes well-organized and easy-to-find, and it’s really easy to input a recipe and just as importantly, really easy to add my own notes about tweaking the recipe to my family’s tastes and needs. I paid the one-time fee for “Lifetime” full access to the apps’ features so I could upload up to 5 images, which has been super helpful when I find a recipe I like online. One of the awesome things about RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is that my recipes sync up; whether I input a recipe through my iPad or my iPhone, the recipe is accessible through the other device. This is essential for me because I often need to open a recipe while in the grocery store to make sure I buy the right ingredients. I’m not a great cook, but this recipe-keeper app helps me be a better cook. Also, I got a new iPhone for Christmas, and accessing my recipes and my original “Lifetime” purchase on my new devise was a simple tap of a button when RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer prompted me. I don’t have time for “complicated” tech, so I love the ease of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer. It was a fantastic investment that continues to meet all my expectations and needs.

Recommend for keeping recipes organized

My sister shared OrganizEat with me and it has been helpful in keeping my recipes organized. Once I find a good recipe, then I usually like to keep it handy to rotate when I meal plan each week. There are plenty of categories and it’s fairly easy to import a recipe from a browser too. It will do it automatically by only including the portion sizes and steps (not all the other boring blog notes, pictures, etc that is often included in recipe articles). I also like that the device screen while in RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer doesn’t fade out and my phone doesn’t lock when you’re following along with a recipe - super handy feature! My only con of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is sometimes this auto transfer from browser to app doesn’t work seamlessly but they give you an option to screenshot snip images of the recipes as a back up option. My request with this back up option would be to allow more snip images as I think it maxes out at 3-4 images which sometimes isn’t enough. Other than that recommend RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer if you want a quick easy way to organize and reference your favorite recipes!

The Absolute Best

I have been enjoying RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer for several years. It is by far, the most user-friendly intuitive app I have ever worked with. I am a senior and I’ve had no problem using RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer. If you are like I was, you have 100 scraps of paper with recipes or magazine pages torn out folded up and stuck in a box. So hard to find exactly that recipe you want when you want it. Snapping a picture of each only took a few minutes. And now I have a fabulously organized recipe file! And I’ve added many recipes from my favorite websites and many friends. I find an image online of the recipe I am capturing to use as the Cover. My file looks awesome and so organized! So easy now when I am away from my home, visiting my grandchildren or my elderly mother, to share the recipe with them or to make a delicious meal for them. You can make your meal plans for the week and generate a shopping list. With a click of the ✔️ icon you have added the recipe to your weekly plan. Saves so much time! I could not be more delighted that I found OrganizEats App and I will be a member for many years to come. I absolutely ❤️ RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer!

If you like to cook and collect recipes get this app

When you are serious about cooking, you collect plenty of recipes from many sources. OrganizEat is a well thought-out tool that let us get our recipes organized and it gets used everyday at our house. We had hundreds of printed recipes that we scanned and uploaded into the program over a few hours. This is sort of a brute force approach, but we had computer print outs, hand written notes, index cards and random scraps of paper that we are now able to find quickly. There are better ways to get recipes into OrganizEat that we also use, you can import recipes directly from many sites like Serious Eats, Bon Appétit, New Your Times and others. Other sites that are not directly supported by RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer can be used by snapping pictures within RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . Of course you can also type your recipes and add photos too. The developers are working to add other ways to import and additional features to RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer , I had contacted them with a question and they were very responsive and open to future improvements. This is not the cheapest app out there, but you get what you are paying for.

Hoping for...

I really love RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer. I am so glad I bought it when it wasn’t $25 or I’d be missing out on this awesomeness!! My only (well I have 3) hope/s would be that you guys made a computer version that I could upload recipes to from the computer. I hate browsing on my computer to find lots of things I want to save but can’t unless I text the site to myself and then go to my phone or iPad. I want to just be able to log in and add to from my computer.
I also hope you guys are working on adding more places that you will accept recipes from but love that I can add them if it doesn’t automatically upload. I’d love the feature “copy me that” has that I can automatically upload from the actual site. The 3 times I’ve tried it tells me it’s not supported ...leading me to one final request. Recipes are starting to become longer now when they add a “how to change it to cook it in the ....(instant pot, crockpot..)” making the recipe longer than a 3 photo shot option. I need the chance to screenshot the whole recipe and sometimes 3 just isn’t enough. I’d like to see up to 10 if possible.
Thanks!!

Amazing app!

I was looking for a simple to use app where I could store & organize all of the recipes I have tried & love from Pinterest. I am amazed with RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer! Not only can you organize & make albums as you’d like, but you can also add pictures which I love. As if that wasn’t enough, you can click on the recipe you’d like to make & have all the ingredients added to a shopping cart so that you know exactly what you need to buy! No more typing out ingredients for a shopping list. You can also add recipes to your calendar, so RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer also acts as a meal planner!! I’m currently using the free version, but the full version is only $12 for an entire year (if using just for your mobile phone) that’s only $1 per month. I highly recommend RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer if you are like me who loves to bake & cook & has one too many recipes to print or write out. Saving recipes on Pinterest is nice, but having to scroll through to finally get the recipe is an inconvenience when trying to cook quickly. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer saves you that time! Very happy I came across RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer :)

Love!

Getting rid of all my paper recipes was a big decision. I did quite a bit of analyzing of my wants and needs and reviewing of the available products on the market. OrganizEat came out as the clear winner and I haven’t looked back! I love that you can import recipes from the web, take pictures, share with other users, keep recipes in more than one category, create tags for additional organization (examples: I have a “Thanksgiving” tag for the go-to dishes my family loves; I also a “Mom” tag so I can keep track of which recipes came from my Mom), easily reference a particular recipe on my phone while at the grocery store, access from multiple devices, and keep track of items I plan to prepare “this week.” The developers are constantly tweaking and improving RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer based on customer feedback, which I also love. Honestly, I love pretty much everything about RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer. I look forward to the day it’s easier to organize and view my tags, but in the meantime, I am grateful EVERY SINGLE DAY for life-changing recipe keeper.

After years still the best money spent on an app

I researched other recipe apps, then started with the free version. I found that it was not complicated, and started by adding my chili recipe, then Alton Browns guac. recipe, that was all I had, but it was easy so I added a few old family recipes so I could tell when my wife was adding “FLAIR”. Almost like it was a game I quickly filled the free version, importing from the web is easy , I realized the true organizational usefulness of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer.

I actually bought the full version. My wife laughed at me, I’m cheap I never buy apps, this is the absolutely most expensive app I have ever purchased. BUT I looked at the hundreds of dollars in cookbooks my wife has, and just try finding that same internet recipe online again.........

THEN IT HAPPENED: My wife was walking around angry, she had over time put together a binder of recipe copies for the lake house, but recipe she planned on making for our guests as not there. I pulled out my phone, opened he app and showed her the recipe she needed .... she is a convert.

Best Recipe Organizing App Ever!

I love RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer! It does everything I want and more. I originally found RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer because I was frustrated with other apps out there for organizing my recipes and was on the verge of creating my own app to meet all my needs like meal planning, saving recipes off the internet, uploading my own recipes, adding pictures, search features, etc. That’s when I discovered OrganizEat and am so happy I did! Used it for a day or two, saw the value of it, purchased it outright and never looked back. Just tonight my husband asked me about a family recipe he needs for dinner and it’s right at my fingertips. I especially love the import feature for recipes I find on the web. No more one time use recipes that I find once and never find again. Family member texts me a recipe? No problem! I add it in and never have to ask for it a second time or dig through old texts to find it. I am building up quite a collection of my favorites and new recipes I’d like to try. Get RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer! You won’t regret it! 😄

My favorite app - well worth the money

Love RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer - so easy to use, and easy to upload recipes from the internet or from photos of recipes. Easy and really clear organization - superior over any other app or web-based recipe system I have tried. I also like that there is a place to enter in my own notes re what worked in the recipe and what changes I added. Also, if I have something in my fridge that I want to use up, I can do a quick word search for that ingredient and RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer will pull up every recipe I have that uses that ingredient. Also love how my smart phone mirrors RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer on my tablet so that when I’m in the grocery store, I can easily pull up a recipe to find the ingredient list without using WiFi (which always seemed to bug out on me in grocery stores when I tried to pull up recipes from web-based content). Also incredibly easy to share recipes with others, including my notes for the recipe, whether they have RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer or not. Really love RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer!

Great app, couple of suggestions... Updated!

I originally put “I wish ingredients was not column based for text entry, since most recipes I have are in text files. So I just paste them into notes.”, but they responded that I could swipe left and do my copy and paste there and it works like a champ!!!

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to edit existing ones and paste a bunch of ingredients at one time, but it’s easy enough to delete and recreate the right way!

When importing from websites, it doesn’t use the tab columns either. So why have them. I’d rather it be one big field I can paste into, and it could use a logic of return character to separate the individual line items, after the fact. Same with directions. Each return character equals one line. Update: This is more a nit then an problem.

Having an empty picture and tags field showing 1st is not very nice looking. If they’re empty they shouldn’t show, at least at the beginning. If I want to add them, I can go into edit. Another nit, but I can live with it.

When sharing, it actually makes a PDF file, which is great!!!

I like how you can move ingredients in different order.

Overall, great app, but could use help in text input and not showing blank fields.

Update: this is a great app and after receiving a response to my original feedback, I now know how to do the manual entry, so I’ve updated my rating to a 5 star. Could be more intuitive, but all in all, the best recipe app I could find!!
Thanks!!

I finally paid for an app! 😂

RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is wonderful! For years, I looked for YEARS for an app that would store my recipes from everywhere…my paper ones, online, books, etc. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is so easy to use and my recipes look great and organized! The best part? I can import recipes from my favorite sites with a click, and they are perfectly organized!!! This is a FANTASTIC feature!!! And, I can share my recipes with my son, who is such a foodie! If you need to edit or put notes on a recipe, it is SO easy! You can even make a grocery list and meal plans too! I haven’t tried those features extensively yet, but I know they are there. I NEVER pay for apps. At first, it was a tough decision. I mean, if you are actually going to pay for an app, the lifetime is really the only way to go. So after adding my maximum recipes, I had to make that decision. I bought RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer the next day. I don’t think I could live without RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer now. Thank you to the developers of OrganizEat. I truly LOVE your app!

Great and Easy to Use

If you’re not a genius at figuring out how apps work, this is a good one for you. You don’t need your kids to explain it. It’s easy, user friendly, well organized, and smart. It’s simple to download recipes you find on the internet without re-typing, and you can easily save them in pre-selected categories or you can create your own. The days of collecting recipes in those index card boxes, or notebooks are gone. It’s so easy to use and I like that you can attach your own photos of meals you’ve prepared or you can download photos attached to the recipe so you can easily recall what the dish looks like, and if you’ve forgotten the name of a recipe you can find it from the picture you took. And if you can’t figure out how to use it, you can always ask your kids! It’s worth it because using RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer has helped me with grocery lists and the brain numbing task of figuring out what to make for dinner. I use RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer a lot and highly recommend it!

Easy peasy!

I take online cooking classes and the recipes come by email in word doc format. I have purchased two apps, neither of which allowed me to copy and paste these recipes. I needed something easy that would allow me to organize these recipes in one place and categorize them for easy retrieval.
I saw a review for OrganizEat and really liked the way you could just snap a pic and file it without having to type it all in. So I downloaded the trial app and I was sold. I’ll be purchasing RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer today!
Not only can I organize my class recipes but I can save family hand written recipes in their original form! Grandma’s pickle recipe is the best but starting to fade and RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer allows me to save it in her handwriting! I am so pleased and thankful for this wonderful app! It is going to save me countless hours of manually transcribing recipes!
The developer of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer thought of everything. From what I have read, the follow up customer service is outstanding. Worth every penny!

App is great, sales model not so much

I've had the free version of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer for a few weeks and have had great success with it. But when I considered buying the $20 full version versus the $4 yearly subscription, the subscription clearly seemed like the way to go, since there aren't many apps I can say I've used for at least 5 years. But you can only buy the $20 version through RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer Store; the $4 version you buy through RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer by putting in your iTunes password. That's basically like me saying, "I'll give you $16 in exchange for a password linked to your credit card!" Nice app and all, but I don't trust you that much! So do everyone a solid and make the subscription available for purchase through iTunes, mmkay?

Other than that, love RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . My only suggested changes would be to let you record when you've made a recipe and give it reviews so you can remember how much you liked it/if you would change anything the next time you made it. (Of course you could type that into the Notes field but an actual rating system would be better.)

Versatile, easy to use

My wife asked for ‘some kind of app’ to organize her recipes as a Christmas gift. After being lost in the techno babble of several competing apps, I used this free version of Organizeat to explore its functionality and found it to be incredibly intuitive and flexible. From simply photographing an existing recipe (and type in a title), to typing the recipe in its entirety, RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer functions effortlessly. Additionally, several methods make downloading recipes from websites a breeze. I’ve loaded recipes using each tool and it’s a breeze! Automatic shopping lists, name your own folders, various simple sorts, everything short and simple.

This free version limits the number of recipes and photos but is an excellent means to learn RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer ’s capabilities. I’ve ordered the expanded version for my wife using the gift feature on RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer store. Automatic delivery on Christmas day! This too, by the way, with the help of the developer’s very responsive customer service folks.

Give it a try, you’ll love it!!

Greatest App!

I was getting very tired of always trying to remember which recipe box had which recipe, so I decided to check for an app. Read the reviews on a number of apps and decided this one sounded the best. Quickly found it was for me. After using the free version and quickly getting to my limit, I purchased the next step up (not one for taking a lot of pictures of what I cook😏). I like the idea that now my favorite recipes are mobile with me so when we go back home to visit I can actually contribute to the meals!!
I also thought this was so great I told my little sister about it as she and her husband are the "chefs" of the family!! I hope she likes it as much as I do.
The only thing I would like to see added/changed are the icons you can use when adding/changing categories. There needs to be more of them and you should be able to change the ones they have already set up if you want them to be a little different!!

New review update to: Chefs beware

...I'd like to update my old review to a new and more positive one. Since I posted my last review, the powers that be at Organizeats were able to fix the issue of me not having "unlimited recipes ", and everything is working well, as it should be. They responded promptly to my problem via email and I am happy to be able to continue using RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer .I downloaded RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer with hopes this would be a simple way to store recipes. But, it only allows you to have up to five recipes, with the option of paying more (a lot more than you'd expect for a cookbook app), which I did. They offered it as a "one-time" charge, and you get unlimited recipes. However, it wasn't a one time charge, and in fact, the "unlimited" only lasted for three months. Now, I can no longer add recipes without paying another high priced fee for a cookbook app that's only fair at best to begin with. I'm now searching for a better cookbook app. Don't waste your time with this one, it's not worth it.

Best recipe app ever!

I have tried so many recipe apps over the years and usually lose interest after a week or so. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is exactly what I’m looking for and worth every penny! Is it a lot for an app? Maybe, sure, but it’s no different from going into Staples or Office Max 20 years ago and paying $25 for software.

Why do I love it? My favorite part is the automatic recipe upload from my favorite food sites, including the main photo. Yes there are times I have a recipe that can’t upload (Disney Food and Wine festival Greek nachos from a random blog) but I can screen shot the blog page and save the recipe or I can type it into RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . But honest to goodness, I love opening RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer and seeing all of my recipes by picture. It’s like scrolling through a beautiful, full color recipe book with photos for every recipe (you know how rare yet wonderful that is) with all of my favorite recipes, no duds.

I haven’t tried the meal planner yet or the grocery shopping list, but i did click around and it looks pretty neat. You can add all of the ingredients you need for a recipe to your shopping list just with one click. Do it for a few recipes and you find the shopping list is organized by grocery store section (dairy, produce, etc). Again, haven’t used this part of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer aside from playing around, but my plan-everything sister-in-law looked over my shoulder and was in awe.

Four thumbs up from us!

Excellent recipe app

Update: I LOVE RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer and have now upgraded to 5 stars because I can now save recipes to multiple categories!
I’ve been using RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer for the better part of a year and am pretty happy with it. I like the versatility of entering recipes - by taking a photo of an old recipe card, or by linking to a food/recipe site, or by typing in. Also like that I can personalize it with food photos, can add notes, and that there is a setting to keep my iPad from going black while I keep the recipe up on my counter for as long as I need. I love that it syncs with my iPhone, so I can check my recipes while shopping, and can share recipes quickly with friends. My only complaint is that recipes can’t be put in more than one category. I realize that you can add multiple tags to help search for a recipe, but would like to be able, for example, to put my curry chicken recipe in both my chicken and slow cooker categories.

The Good and Bad

It's a wonderful app. I have always wanted my recipes stored where I can just have a quick search or skim over the recipe pictures. There are clever ways RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer allows you to put recipes together by style, preference, website etc. The downside is there are still many websites that cannot be saved directly to RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . There is a method RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer has which allows you to take pictures of a website, saving the recipe data as it appears; but if your like me you want your information saved in its proper category i.e. ingredients stored in the ingredient part of the recipe, measurements in measurements, notes in the notes; and be able to edit the recipe info to your liking or needs. In order to be able to edit you must type the recipe yourself which requires you to go back and forth between app and website, copying and pasting the info. This is is a tedious and time consuming effort. If I have to save a recipe by this method I sometimes skip saving a recipe altogether, making me loose out on the recipe in the end.

Love this Recipe App!!!

I’m not super organized by nature. I’m a creative. But this very helpful recipe organizing app has helped me in so many ways!! About a year ago I thought I had lost my book of recipes that I had been collecting all my life. I was heartbroken. So I set out to find a better way to keep track of them. In comes OrganizEat. First and foremost, my recipes are all stored in one place in the cloud and I can access them from my phone while grocery shopping (life saver) and refer to my recipe on my iPad (easier to see than on a small recipe card) while I’m cooking. I can organize by category, so if I need a side dish, I look up side dishes. I can find recipes online and add them to my collection. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is probably one of my most used apps!!! I did finally find my original recipe book, but I’ve been transferring them into my app so I don’t have to worry about that happening again!

The best recipie app!!

If you ever wanted quick access to your entire library of favorite recipes wherever you are, this is RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . I’ve had RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer for several years now and absolutely love it, cannot do without it. Sometimes I am out and about and think - what are we having for dinner tonight - and I can just pull up RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer and see options and what ingredients I might need while out shopping. And the fact that the recipie STAYS ON SCREEN the whole time you’re cooking is so great, it works just as good as a cookbook! In fact even when home and I have cookbooks I prefer RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer because can find stuff so easily.

I purchased the maximum features and have never regretted it for a minute. This one of , if not the best app I have EVER purchased. And I am a thrifty shopper and not easily pleased. You will not be disappointed. And their service and support is the best.

A-MAZ-ING

These two developers are amazing! They are hands-on with RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer and they really care about their users. If you have an idea while using send them a message - you will get a reply! RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is super user friendly and intuitive. I particularly appreciate the way it keeps my screen on while I’m reading a recipe. I don’t want to go into settings and manually adjust every time I’m cooking something so this is my favorite part. I also love being able to organize my screen shots. I have over 5,000 photos on my iPhone ALOT of screen shots, not all recipes but I wish I had an app to organize them all like this one...like things I don’t want to forget, things to buy, screen shots of receipts. Getting old/busy and need tools like this to keep me organized. I am glad to pay up for the convenience, personalized support and me supporting small businesses.

Great app!

My aunt is always texting me asking to send her recipes from her recipe book when she’s away from home, so for her birthday I’ve purchased RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer outright instead of dealing with monthly or yearly subscriptions and I’ve been uploading every recipe she has in one app that she can access through her phone, tablet or laptop/desktop. Uploading the recipes is fast and easy - especially ones that she got from well known recipe sites! She loves the inspiration and ideas tab that lets you save the recipes automatically, much easier than trying to Pinterest! I started yesterday and already have 114 of her recipes uploaded. The only thing I do not like about RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is that the font is small, especially when on her tablet, and I wish she didn’t need to use reading glasses to use RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer . All in all this is a great app that I would recommend to anyone.

Could not be simpler!

I had hundreds of recipe snapshots from digital magazines thrown in with thousands of pics on my phone and iPad. With a little bit of time and effort, my recipes were easily transformed into an organized digital recipe box. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer is beyond amazing, easy to learn, easy to use, predictable and reliable. Now my recipes that were hand written on paper stuffed into an envelope are safely organized and right at my fingertips. You are in complete control of your entries, and how you find them. Add and delete at any time, make corrections or tweak your recipes as you please! And as a bonus....sync every time you make entries on any devises you have, and you can see all your recipes across all devises! This developer thought of everything! It’s become one of my fave apps on my phone❤️

Amazing app!!

RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer does a great job storing all my recipes from various sources in one place. I do weekly menu plans and was storing all my recipes and ingredient lists in Excel, but RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer makes it so much easier!! Importing the recipes is so easy, and I can even import from blogs and all the recipes are sorted as I want them. The menu planner works great, and creating a shopping list that sorts in order of like ingredients means I’m not running in circles in the grocery store. Oh and to have the ability to click on ingredients I already have so they are removed from the shopping makes for a much more manageable list to work with. And when it comes time to cooking it’s easier to work off this site to follow the directions, they are laid out better than the recipe sites.

Perfect for my needs

I love the simplicity and flexibility of RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer. My favorite feature is the "this week" tagging that lets me tag certain recipes that I've slated to make sometime this week. It allows me to quickly access the meals/recipes I need this week without boxing me into a specific date that I plan to make each meal. I also love that I can create a recipe that is just a picture of an index card or cutout from a magazine. It's too tedious to enter in every single ingredient or every single step for recipes that I don't plan on sharing and know how to make. Sometimes I just want to have a placeholder for my go-to meals as a "recipe" in a place to help me get ideas for the upcoming week's meal planning. RecipeKeeperBookOrganizer gives me exactly that. So happy to have found it.

I have had this for a year or two now. (I honestly don't remember when I got it.) BEST thing ever. And support is phenomenal if you have any issues. Rachel has been fantastic and I could not have asked for better customer service.
