After restoring the app because I got a new phone and then syncing I have lost all but one recipe - I generally add notes on the recipe - where did my recipes go?

I’m really picky about apps, so I was thrilled to find this one. It is very nice to look at. There are cute little icons (that you can use any way you want) to create custom categories for your recipes, and you can add a given recipe to as many categories as you like, so if you have overlapping ones you’re not forced to have it under only one section. You can put pictures for each recipe, which I love, being very visual. It has everything you need without being too busy/overwhelming. It’s cool that you can even choose a color scheme for the app, so if you love/hate a certain look you can have control over what you look at. And I LOVE that it syncs across devices so you can check and edit recipes on whatever machine you happen to be using. I wish the web version was free to use, or at least had a one time purchase price, but I understand that websites cost money to maintain. I wouldn’t mind paying a one time fee (even if it was a little high) for permanent access. I just don’t like ongoing bills. That has nothing to do with how awesome the app is though. It’s fantastic. I bought the lifetime subscription for the phone app version and am very pleased with it.
And Rachel, if you’re reading this as you say you do, it would be sweet if you could add a mint/Seafoam color theme to the app. That’s my favorite. ;)

So far I have been loving it. It has meal planner, grocery lists, and the recipes binder! I’m in love with the recipe binder! I’ve been contemplating on buying a recipe binder to fill. But honestly the digital one here is pretty much where it’s at. Every recipe is digital now so it would be silly to print just to put in a binder. I’d get it if we still used recipes that are in newspapers and on food boxes (although I use those too but not often.) I’m happy there’s a planner and list there too. I haven’t messed with that portion yet. But On the negative side I almost deleted it because of the price flash after first opening the app after downloading it. There is a free version luckily. Im unsure what the difference is. I’m sure I can only save x amount until I have to pay for it. Which if the app serves me greatly, I probably will purchase it. I’m happy there’s a free version. I don’t like purchasing apps without even trying it. I’m sure many of you don’t either. I’m hoping to see this app grow. Maybe I’m due time as the app grows we would be able to connect Pinterest and allrecipes somehow (like sign in or something) . And also have a in app friend circle that we can look at each other’s recipe books, that would be fun and cool!

I love Organizeats for many reasons, but primarily for its portability. I have the app on both my phone and iPad, so no matter where I go I have my recipes with me. We have a lakehouse 3 hours away from our home, and frequently the recipe I needed was in the other location. Duplicating 50 years of recipes was not practical. Now I just open the app on my phone. The recipes were so easy to enter. I just took a picture of the recipe and copied it to the Organizeats app
Even when I travel to visit my son in N.C. or my daughter in the U.K. I have all my recipes with me. Also when I spot an enticing recipe in a magazine, I just snap a picture and enter it in the app. So easy!
I am over 70 and certainly not tech savvy, but this app is incredibly easy to use. You can even store the same recipe under different headings. You can create your own headings or use provided ones. I love having all my standard Christmas recipes together as well as ones for Thanksgiving and Easter. After hearing me rave about this app, my daughter got it and she loves it too especially when traveling & staying in an Airbnb.
I could go on and on , but I think you get the picture. I love Organizeats and wouldn’t change a thing!
