I just downloaded SuperCookRecipeByIngredient so that I wouldn’t have to keep going to the website and keep putting my ingredients in. I put all my ingredients into SuperCookRecipeByIngredient and began liking recipes to begin my meal planning. Then right when I was looking at a recipe, SuperCookRecipeByIngredient forcibly logged me out and now will not let me back in. When I try to get back in there are only two options for me after I have “logged in.” After putting my email and password in and hitting login, then it stays there but now I can either sign out or change my password. I closed SuperCookRecipeByIngredient and reopened it hoping that would help but to no avail. I even changed my password hoping that would help, but I still can’t login. Not very helpful at all and very aggravating. I have now lost all the recipes I was looking at. Very disappointed. I have deleted SuperCookRecipeByIngredient since I cannot even use it.

SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is great to reduce food waste. Now, I don’t have to search the web looking for recipes with specific ingredients. I’ve made several dishes that I wouldn’t have thought of just by using what I already had.

Nonetheless, SuperCookRecipeByIngredient isn’t well framed on the larger iPhones. The menu and the bar to swipe up overlap and make things tricky to control. Also, I know that SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is taking me to the website but I like it better if SuperCookRecipeByIngredient would turn that ad-filled webpage into a clean interface. People ranting for paragraphs before getting into the recipe and the ads feel like going to a nice park with trash and sketchiness all over the place.

Great app but the need to use login is a negative to save recipes instead of using iCloud. Adding items to pantry and shopping list is a breeze.
please add Reminder app integration to sync a chosen list like the Grocery app does, this cuts down on having to add items twice to the location award Reminders app and the other app that uses its database.
The recipe section of the SuperCook is amazing and I love the vegetarian options for times when I want to be meat free.
Maybe taking users suggestions for shopping list items will be helpful because I can’t add oat milk in SuperCook so maybe if user keeps trying to add the same thing over and over, then it becomes a legit shopping list item.
I’ve been suggesting SuperCookRecipeByIngredient to all my friends and family. Seriously adding syncing to the Reminders list app will definitely make new cooks using SuperCookRecipeByIngredient more since we already add shopping lists to Reminders app to check off.

I really like it and it hits the mark most of the time. However, there’s a couple of things that can really take SuperCookRecipeByIngredient to the next level. I feel like when you’re looking at recipes you should be able to select multiple criteria through filtering. For example, if I’m looking for a dessert to make, and hit the “dessert” option, cookies won’t pop up because they’re under “baked goods” so it would be nice to be able to select both of those options Instead of just one or the other. Another thing that I believe would be better is if you were able to filter out things I DO NOT want. If I’m looking through recipes but don’t like raisin cookies for example. Then I should be able to set that so I don’t have to keep seeing those recipes pop up as I’m browsing through my options. Other then that I like SuperCookRecipeByIngredient overall but definitely could use some improvements.

It’s good I have made account but I can favorite recipies I click on heart then for me to go to home pager I have to keep clicking back arrow I go in favorites see if recipies are there for quick access to try there are not there I get message you have no favorite selected, you go in recipies to look what’s in them and to try there is no home button, favorite button click on to you need click on arrow all time until you get back to home page, I have tried resetting nothing saved, I have try log back in nothing is saved if it was not for these issues I would have given perfect score until something is fixed perfect score remains three

Setting up SuperCookRecipeByIngredient was very easy; It wasn’t complicated or whatever. There are SO many choices of items to put in your “pantry”. When you put items in your pantry, and then you go to the menu and look for recipes, it uses the items you have in your pantry, so you won’t have to worry about if you are missing an ingredient. One thing I will say, is that it’s a little weird: A ton of the recipes it offers you are repeated. For example: In my pantry I have peanutbutter and grape jelly. When I go to recipes, let’s just say that SuperCookRecipeByIngredient gives me 100 recipes on what to do with my ingredients. About 35, maybe 40 of them will be the same recipes. So it’s annoying in that sense, but I’ll admit that there is a nice variety in the recipes given to you. Although, there are also many of them that are a bit unrealistic. I think that SuperCookRecipeByIngredient should have a section where it asks you if you have certain materials, like an oven, a whisk, you get the idea. Because not all people have all the necessary tools to bake this and cook that. But besides that, I’m satisfied with SuperCookRecipeByIngredient .

I really like SuperCookRecipeByIngredient a lot, but I’m disappointed with how the shopping list works. For one thing, I try to add an ingredient I DON’T have to the shopping list from the recipe, and it adds it into my pantry, even though I do not have that item yet. The major issue for me is that when I go to add, say, “1 lb boneless lean cut pork chop” from the recipe to the shopping cart… all that comes up for me on the list is “pork chop.” Significantly less informative than what it says I need in the recipe lol. Also, I think it would be cool if SuperCookRecipeByIngredient suggested recipes that pair well together. The pantry thing itself is great to keep track of what you have at home and I appreciate knowing what I can whip up with what I have, but I feel SuperCookRecipeByIngredient overall could be better.

It’s a good concept for a recipe finding app. I do like that I can submit what I have in my home into SuperCookRecipeByIngredient and it finds recipes based off of that. How ever, the recipes are really repetitive. All the recipes that are offered are pretty much recipes that you can find on google or Pinterest by simply submitting the meat that you have.
I wish there where more meat choices to submit, more seasoning options because not all of which I have are in there. I feel like each subject that you can submit what you have in your kitchen and pantry could use more options in general.
SuperCookRecipeByIngredient itself could use a good update as well, it tends to close out or have trouble loading more recipes when you click on “load more”.

As has been mentioned before, there are issues with ingredients. I selected bell pepper (I have one yellow and one red) and all the recipes called for green.
I selected pasta (I have four different types in my house) the recipes all called for a type I was out of. I selected eggs and ground beef, recipes were calling for steak???
Also, there are things I have in my pantry (canned fruits and some sauces) that I cannot add to my pantry on SuperCookRecipeByIngredient.

I searched SuperCookRecipeByIngredient trying to find solutions to my issues and was unable to. If I used SuperCookRecipeByIngredient to plan my whole week of meals and to make a grocery list, this would be great. But since I’m trying to use what I already have on hand SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is a bit of a bust.

SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is great! I love that it gives me recipes based on my ingredients, it makes meal planning so much easier. I have two complaints, which is why I couldn’t give it 5 stars. One, it tends to decide I have ingredients that I did not put in my pantry, and tell me I can make recipes that call for said ingredient even if it is a key ingredient in the recipe. I would also love a feature where you can add what tools you have and filter based on those. For example, I would love to be able to say I want crockpot meals but I can’t search for crockpots or slow cookers in the recipes. Please add this feature! :)

I like SuperCookRecipeByIngredient a lot. You put in the ingredients that are in your pantry, then it creates a menu for you with all sorts of ideas for what you can make for dinner with those exact ingredients. Amazing!

Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the user experience. The user experience is decent, but has some room for improvement. For example, the navigation buttons across the bottom are hard to touch because they’re like half cut off the bottom of the screen. Also, when I go to a recipe, I have to go to some 3rd party site that usually has tons of ads so I have to X out like 10 pop ups every time I view a recipe.

Either way I still like it, and even recommended it to a friend already.

When I first started living on my own, I knew plenty of recipes but really wanted to expand my recipe book, so I found SuperCookRecipeByIngredient and it was great. It’s really easy to input what you do have in your fridge and pantry, and to delete something once you run out of it. It’s great for when you want to clear out your kitchen and want to save some money. I do find that when it comes to navigating the recipes themselves, I always see the same ones and have to really hunt to find anything new.
Regardless I find SuperCookRecipeByIngredient very useful and definitely recommend it for new adults or people who aren’t as intuitive in the kitchen.

Would be helpful for user to be able to add ingredients that were not previously saved in SuperCookRecipeByIngredient by the developer. There are several ingredients missing, many of them basic staples. Please give users the ability to add ingredients! Could also be more seamless as far as selecting items from my pantry and then generating meals. Lastly, if a meal has less than three stars, it should be removed. It will help to filter through thousands of meals that likely need improvement. Anytime I filter out low ratings, about half the recipes disappear. That would leave a more efficient search for quality recipes.

...since you have come into my life, many a night I have stood in my pantry, crying. Not because I’m listening to my family sit in silence at the kitchen table with the occasional “gghuuhguh” from one of “mom’s awesome new recipes” and nobody can get away with not eating it because not even the dog (who eats “cats treats” from the litter box) will touch it. It’s not because my 4 year old has been channeling Picasso and today his medium of choice was a jumbo sized bottle of chocolate syrup. It’s because I DID NOT HAVE TO GO TO THE STORE. You have touched me in ways I have only felt in my wildest dreams. My relationship with my children has improved dramatically because they not longer think I’m trying to kill them. If you ask my husband, well, that’s a whole different sorry. So, for all that you are doing and will continue doing, well done 😉

Is a really great app if you want to have everything organized in your pantry, missing some ingredients but really specifics ones (like there is yogurt but not Greek yogurt, if it helps I can list them for you app people so you can add them on, lol) but what is really missing for me is the option of adding the recipes that I find based on my pantry list to a weekly meal plan, right now I am using the option favorites like that, and at the end of the week I removed them and I add the new ones I want to try, I really think it would make SuperCookRecipeByIngredient perfect if you could add that on!

This need’s to be at the top of the list for a kitchen app. I usually pick something up in the produce aisle and find myself leaving it in the fridge to rot because I either don’t know what recipe to make something of it or if I look up a recipe I may be missing 2 or more key ingredients. I don’t have an extensive knowledge on meals and recipes so I don’t know what recipe to look for to start but with SuperCookRecipeByIngredient I’m able to explore new meals without trying to hassle to the grocery store to get the necessary ingredients and I’m using most of food items that I bought. happy tummy, happy wallet, happy me.

So I’m not using this to make food based on what’s in my house, I’m using it to come up with new recipes based on my very short list of tolerated food and it’s been so amazing! I was so tired of eating the same thing and going through regular recipes and having to rewrite them was too much work when they never tasted right with only half the ingredients. If you suffer from too many food allergies, SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is for you! I’m sure it’s also also great for what’s in your house, I just can’t get over how helpful it’s been for my MCAS.

I have used the website for years, and decided to try SuperCookRecipeByIngredient . I can’t log in, because I log in with Facebook. This needs to be an option in SuperCookRecipeByIngredient . I now have to create a new account and go through my entire kitchen again.

Update: received an email from the developer within 12 hours with instructions on how to log in. Great customer service. The work around to reset password for my Facebook email address worked. I am sad to hear the log in with Facebook option is being removed, and not sure what privacy reasons it could be for considering almost everything I use has a log in with Facebook option. They claim it is for a privacy concern, but who knows really.

I love that I could get started right away tagging my ingredients! I made an account to save favorites but it seems like that’s optional. Thank you for that. I love the bright color scheme of SuperCookRecipeByIngredient . It makes me excited to cook! I have lots of spices on hand and a wide variety of frozen meats (even duck breast and a rack of ribs I forgot about) so I was thrilled to see the many recipes presented to me. 185 ingredient pantry = 9051 recipes in my case.

One bit of feedback is a graphical one. The navigational tabs at the bottom don’t have enough space to tap/click without invoking the “swipe up to go home” bar. The bar blocks two of the tabs. Consider giving a few more pixels of space here so SuperCookRecipeByIngredient feels less cramped. Using iPhone XS.

I have so many dietary restrictions due to allergies that have built up consistently over the last two years and I have a limited amount of ingredients that I can eat. I’ve been eating the same recipes for a year and have become so sick of it. I finally remembered SuperCookRecipeByIngredient and downloaded it less than 1 HOUR AGO, and my life has already changed. It gave me over 6,000 recipe options with the ingredients that I have, when I thought I would never have variety again. I could cry with tears of joy. I love cooking and this just gave me my happiness back.

Downloaded app, started dictating ingred’s, it’s not saving. Created free account, still not saving. Restarted app, finally started working... only to realize : the type feature takes too long and is bothersome to use (have to confirm each ingredient), the dictation is finicky and doesn’t pick up all the names... sometimes makes stuff up and adds it to my pantry. I wasn’t able to enter adzuki beans either way, the program doesn’t know they exist. Terrible experience, waste of time, back to pen and paper I go.

I love SuperCookRecipeByIngredient! So easy to use, I actually enjoy cooking now! But.... for some reason SuperCookRecipeByIngredient will log me out, and when I log back in. None of my “favorites” or ingredients are saved.. and have to start over almost every time I log on to SuperCookRecipeByIngredient . Kinda frustrating when I can’t find the original recipe I was planning on making. If it weren’t for that, it would be my new favorite app!

I love the website. I love SuperCookRecipeByIngredient .

It is easier to list one ingredient, or the ingredients only I want a recipe suggestion, or ingredients I plan to purchase, or every ingredient I have.

I listed every ingredient: 107 and I got 5,000+ recipes to look over, and every recipe suggested is a recipe I would love.

..because I love the ingredients I keep at hand in the kitchen and the pantry.

However, if I select Voice to add Bison (buffalo hamburger) SuperCookRecipeByIngredient crashed to 0 ingredients. Very odd!

I registered. Now, it isn’t letting me sign in. I sign in, it goes right back to sign out.

I had used Facebook sign in at the Supercook website.

Do you think that is the problem?

I have used the site for years when I decide it is time of a kitchen clear out and am pleased to see an app. I have successfully logged into the site with my email and password today. SuperCookRecipeByIngredient won’t let me log in. It says I don’t have an account but when I try to set up an account it tells me the email is already in use.

I’ve been using SuperCookRecipeByIngredient for months and recommend it to all my friends. I recently noticed it lost all my pantry ingredients and it won’t let me log back in or send a reset password. Seems to be malfunctioning completely. I restarted my phone and everything. Help! I love SuperCookRecipeByIngredient!

This is such a great app and so easy to use. My 86 yr old Mom even uses it with ease! It was so easy to add all the food and spices, etc to SuperCookRecipeByIngredient via the microphone. It picked up just abt everything I said. I tend to speak fast, so I either re added ingredient or tapped in its name.
We thought we had nothing to eat, but now we know we actually have 30,000 plus recipes to make! And that amount was with no meats, fish or chicken ingredient s added. I do need a trip to the store and i can’t wait to see how many recipes I will have then! Thank you!

For some reason each time I close SuperCookRecipeByIngredient and return to it all my history and pantry entries are completely erased!!!!
I loose everything and this is so frustrating. I have to start from the beginning each time I use SuperCookRecipeByIngredient.
Please can you give me a clue as to how to prevent this ?

Still not enough? Supercook has a website -- bookmark it on your laptop for quick access, and you'll never have a boring meal ever again.
Easy to use, with great results -- what's not to love?

Finally I can make dinner without sifting through tons of recipes only to find I don’t have this or gotta buy that...such a pain. This made it much easier! Just input ingredients you already have on hand & voila! A bunch of suggested recipes at your disposal. Of course not all of them are winners but still, I can use up some stuff that’s been sitting around for too long plus find new recipes to add to the dinner rotation. Tried 2 recipes already & both are pretty good with a few minor tweaks & it’s free!

I’ve been waiting on SuperCookRecipeByIngredient for so very long. They are right it is better in SuperCookRecipeByIngredient . I only wish them at the ingredients were alphabetized under each category. All in all I love SuperCookRecipeByIngredient . Has helped me plenty of nights when I don’t know what to meal plan for.

It’s truly an amazing app!

I proud of my cooking skills but sometimes I feel stuck if certain main ingredients were missing, forgetting that I have other ingredients that could create a completely different dish I haven’t thought of before.

Wow, SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is great; what a time saver! Just add all your food items (pantry, freezer, fresh foods) and SuperCookRecipeByIngredient will generate all the recipes you can make with ingredients you already have! Saving time and money (eating out is expensive!) All while helping you make healthy meals at home. ❤️

SuperCookRecipeByIngredient is wonderful if you are like me and get stuck in a rut making the same thing over and over. It’s awesome to have something that tells you what you can make with what you already have on hand!
