Mealthy: Easy Healthy Recipes Reviews

Seems like the company just abandoned Mealthy without warning. I haven’t opened it in a year, maybe two, and when I opened it today I found there’s no longer any content in Mealthy (all screens except “Me” are blank). (Yes, my app is up to date and I’m using an iPhone 11.) I tried logging out and then found there’s no way to log back in. Facebook login errors and says it’s in development mode. Email login won’t progress past the email entry step. Guest login gives access to “Discover” and “My Appliances” screens which are both blank. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No dice. Mealthy is dead. This is really frustrating because I love this app products and I had several recipes saved that are now lost forever and I don’t have them memorized or copied elsewhere. This is really poor business practice.

I have never left a review for an app before, but I am so blown away with how amazing Mealthy is I figured it was about time. I struggle with consistency and discipline when it comes to meal prep and planning, but Mealthy made my life 10,000 times easier. The Fact that they have a ton of awesome recipes to choose from and then automatically add the recipes you select to a grocery list really streamlined the process. I am weirdly excited to cook this week!

Lots of good recipes and nice ways to sort. I like being able to sort on ‘pressure cooker’ and ‘gluten free’ selections to find what to cook. It’s nice to have options for dietary restrictions. Everything we have cooked so far in our this app has been fantastic! My one recommendation is to add more spice rubs to your meat: we have been adding Penzy’s Galena Street or Northwest Mix to ribs (rub on and let sit in fridge before cooking) or coating before sautéing.

I always check the this app app prior to cooking anything for good ideas.

I’ve used pressure cookers and rice cookers before, and this is a nice way to limit the space taken by multiple cookers.
I didn’t expect it to be better than the other cookers, but it is.
I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks, but it has made better brown and wild rice, better artichokes, better oat groats, great green beans (!), and a wonderful vegan mushroom risotto. I don’t know if it’s the cooker or the recipes, but it works. I’ll revise my review if it doesn’t last, but right now I’m very pleased with my investment.

Beautiful, slick lil app, I love that you can save recipes and export ingredient lists which I use more than I thought I would. Makes shopping super easy. The videos make it really easy to see what's involved with each recipe and are fun to watch. Choosing a recipe is what I usually get hung up on but so far everything I've made has been a home run. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a great app that I frequently refer to for recipes to make in my this app MultiPot. Sometimes the “my recipes” section says I don’t have any saved recipes, but they appear after a few seconds or if I close/reopen Mealthy . The only thing I would love is a note taking feature to record changes I made to a recipe or changes I would make the next time.

Mealthy was good for a while, but now, it’s awful. I am unable to search or sort anything. I deleted Mealthy and reinstalled it, but now I am unable to create an account or use my old login details. And the website doesn’t work. Did this app go out of business?

I love what I’m seeing from Mealthy so far, but I do have a few suggestions that would increase my score to a 5 star rating. 1. I would like to be able to remove options (i.e. I don’t have an air fryer). 2. I can’t find a way to remove recipes from my favorites list after it has been added (accidentally on my part, because I don’t have an air fryer 🤭). 3. I would LOVE/need to know the nutritional info of each recipe.

I am OBSESSED with my this app Pot. I’ve had it for 2 days and have cooked 4 full meals and a dessert. Every one of them turned out phenomenal!
With 3 picky teens who usually tune up their noses at dinner, you would have thought we hired a chef to create something they all would love. And it’s all due to my this app Pot. Thank you for creating a miracle. Easy to use, easy to clean and a myriad of possibilities for healthy cooking. Love it!!!

I try to stay in shape but don’t have a lot of time and I’m not as into cooking as I am into eating. The this app pot and app is amazing for me. I pretty much cook everything in the pot. I do not use an oven at all since getting this pot.

I live the recipes and that you can create a meal plan with recipes and then it’ll tell you what ingredients you need to buy at the store in a list! Mealthy is clutch!

I don’t write many reviews... but this one deserves it. Wow... am blown away with the easy navigation, the beautiful pictures, the extensive number of recipes, and the ease of use. I have downloaded probably 100 ‘recipe’ apps, and have deleted all but maybe 5. This one is a keeper and I can’t figure out how they have managed to make it SO impressive... and FREE! Kudos to whoever developed this... Major kudos!

I love that so many recipes have videos on Mealthy. The food looks so so good and the few recipes I’ve made have turned out well. Mealthy itself is well designed, easy to use and gets you the information you want quickly. It’s search feature is easy to use and effective.

I really like Mealthy but I have saved many recipes to my recipe box twice and if Mealthy is closed, the recipes are totally gone. It took time to put them into the box, so it is frustrating that they do not stay.

I would also like to suggest that the recipe box symbol be made larger and easier to see when the recipe saving feature is repaired. I will give Mealthy five stars when these improvements happen.

I don’t understand the mixed reviews it works perfectly for me every time I don’t measure how much water I put in the bottom likely much more than one cup and often use basmati rice. I have cooked both on and two cups this way just being sure to have equal amounts of water and rice in the bowl

I love using the this app app. I was never a great cook but everyone loves my cooking nowadays- (all I cook is recipes from the this app app)! Because of Mealthy , I find it so easy to meal prep, and prepare the most delicious meals! The this app multipot that I bought is incredible! It makes everything from soups, to meats and the most delicious tasting food. I recommend Mealthy to everyone.

Mealthy is great - was really excited to find it in Mealthy Store. The nav is intuitive and easy to use, there are seriously ZERO ads, the videos are great, and the recipes look delicious. Love the clean look and the overall aesthetic! Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to start cooking some of these fine-looking recipes!!

The this app app is the best and I love now that it has The nutritional information for the recipes, now just need to also add the sugar content to the nutritional information which would be great As I am on weight watchers and we take that into consideration also, thanks again for such a wonderful recipes.

This was my favorite app for pressure cooker recipes. I’m sad that they stopped supporting it. All of the recipes disappeared. Tried contacting support, no answer. So I Uninstalled, then reinstalled Mealthy and there is content again but I can’t log into my account to access saved recipes. Facebook login screen says Mealthy is not set up. I suppose I could start over with a new account but it is a waste of time if Mealthy is just going to glitch again

Which wine is used makes it totally different. This was very rich with Merlot. It was also thin enough that it was Beef Stew soup, but great flavor. I will double the flour and try a different wine next time. Potatoes & carrots were thoroughly cooked. We eat low salt so it was made w salt free Beef stock. We both added a little salt and pepper after the first bite. This will be eaten with fresh corn bread next time, not just good bread.

I wish once you filter which device you’re cooking with that you could then filter more. Example instant pot then grain free then Mexican dishes.
I also would like to be able to upload a photo and see other people’s photos.
I wish there were videos with all the recipes but that’s more of a nice to have.

Update!!! The video issue is now fixed! We can finally stop a video or pause it which is so very helpful! Thank you this app for a great product and a great website. I am going 5 stars now, but please consider my other suggestion on listing the number of people a recipe serves. As a single woman it would be so helpful. Thanks again for fixing the videos!
