Crashes and closes upon new file or folder creation

I just downloaded this off of TextCodeEditor store and I even bought the premium features. It appears to be a great app, however, when I try to create a new folder or file, TextCodeEditor crashes, closes and dumps me back out to my iPad Home screen…..??!!!! This essentially makes TextCodeEditor useless despite the fact that it looks great in TextCodeEditor store and even if you download it and attempt to use it. Developer(s), please fix the bug in your app!! It looks like you put in a lot of work on a great app for it to just crash at a very basic operation. Apple iPad 12.9 Pro purchased in December of 2021, Wifi only, not cellular, currently running on 15.2.1 version iOS.

Really Useful

I am pretty happy about TextCodeEditor . The github integration was well thought out. Maybe it’s not my position to say, but the syntax highlighting should have been free and enabled by default. Thanks for creating such an amazing app 🙂✌🏼

Good but only 1 theme for Markdown preview

Good app. Almost exactly what I was looking for except for one thing. I wanted an app to read my coding notes on, which are on Markdown. However, the Markdown preview only offers one theme. I bought the themes pack but unfortunately, these only apply to the text editor itself, not to the Markdown preview. I wanted a dark mode theme for Markdown preview but the only one there is (the default one) is a boring light mode one that doesn't even highlight code lines. If TextCodeEditor had a bunch of Markdown preview themes (with code highlighting) like there are for the text editor, it would be perfect and I would rate TextCodeEditor 5 stars.

Good app!

Nice! I feel like in Sublime Text. If it can be posible to connect to Google Drive, I would be so grateful!

Bad ftp support

Good APP!! But the embedded ftp client is too simple it couldn't even follow the symbolic link created in Linux.

Eh. Used for about an hour so far, crashed 6 times for me.

I’m using TextCodeEditor for the sole purpose of editing an html file on my iPad because I’m stuck in a hotel without my laptop in Europe. TextCodeEditor is working, and allowing me to edit the file. However, I’ve only had TextCodeEditor for about an hour, maybe an hour and a half, and it has crashed on me literally 6 times thus far. So, if you are using TextCodeEditor,- make sure you back out of whatever you are working on often so it saves your work because if you don’t, you can lose it all! The first time it crashed, I lost 30 minutes worth of coding, which may not seem a lot to an armature coder,- but it is to someone who knows a code or two! After that, I started saving every few minutes, and the most I lost was 2 minutes worth of work. Stability seems to be an issue with TextCodeEditor with prolonged use. There doesn’t seem to be anything in particular that makes the issue happen, just the longer you use it, then it crashes it seems. I tried several different things to make it crash,- I thought maybe I was copying and pasting snippets that were too large or something like that (which the snippets were maybe 20 characters long if that) or that maybe I was using too many illegal characters. But nothing other that using TextCodeEditor for more than 5 minutes made it crash for me. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it a few times as well. 🤷🏻‍♀️
