Outstanding!

We are currently using the Remote support app and social media platform for our computer support business. Must say, I’m beyond impressed. In a day and age where a business scalability is vital to its success, Zoho comes through. Zohos Pricing and customer Support are unmatched and the options seem never ending. I’m super excited to see how the future of our business looks as we grow with the use of other Zoho apps!

Useless

Zoho Assist (normal non-phone app) is growing on my since I was forced to stop hiding GoToAssist. Was excited to hear there was a phone app for agents. Tried it out testing into my own computer...

1) connects quickly
2) the mouse, click control demo is unintelligible. It asks if you understand. I select No thinking it would give me a move advanced demo. Nope just jumps into session... why ask then?
3) so I figured out the touchpad feature is the only option, otherwise your finger covers where you are pointing and when the screen is so small, accuracy is critical.
4) so I figure this is only good for monitoring my laptop. For example, I have this project where a program is running all night. Great! I can use ZohoAssist to check in every half hour to see if it finished or crashed... no go.
5) if you minimize ZohoAssist (for any reason), it disconnects you from the session. So far, after it does that, I’ve not been able to restart the session.
6) sometimes it says it’s waiting for the client to approve... but it’s not. I am on my laptop and there are no prompts etc.

So in short, good alpha test app. Let me know when beta testing starts.

Works better than team viewer

Tried all kinds of Team Viewer replacements, Zoho is the best, wish I would have known about it sooner.

Screen doesn’t return to proper size after using keyboard

This version is greatly improved. I love the new trackpad feature it makes it so easy to use the remote computer on a touch interface. There is one big bug though-after using the keyboard to type and then hiding the keyboard, the screen returns to a really small thumbnail instead of zooming back up to the size of your iPad display. If they can fix that, I will be using ZohoAssist constantly...until then, I’ll barely use it at all...

Lately has been extremely lagging

This was a great app and an awesome replacement of Piece of junk LogMeIn, however, last few weeks has been extremely lagging and screens are. It refreshing properly and makes it incredibly painful to use!

Hopefully they will fix it and will update my review to previous 5-star

Not too bad.

App has basic remote features. I don't expect much as i am using the free version but hope they step it up for people who have a paying subscription.

- you can shrink the command bar above the screen by tapping on the “O” button.

- i would like to have the cursor move in a different way. At the moment your finger is the cursor but i want to be able to control the cursor with my finger as if it was a mouse so i can see exactly what i am clicking on. (Review Take control app from solar winds for an idea of what i am talking about.)

I believe ZohoAssist is moving In the right direction.

Works

I’m part of a corporate acct, so maybe that’s why I don’t have the issues others are, i.e. we paid. Works good for me.

Lacks basic features

I understand Zoho assist is less than the competition but the fact you can’t see all screens is really unacceptable. It is annoying to have to switch remote screens every time you need to see what’s on another screen.

Nice app

Very nice app

Multiple Monitors

Pretty upsetting to see that multiple monitor features was removed. I have a computer I remote in with more than one monitor. Now if I remote in I can’t switch to that monitor and can no longer see that window. ZohoAssist and my payment for the plan is useless now.

Best alternative to teamviewer

The free version is up to 5 pc. Enough for me , some improvement is need on controlling the pc mouse to scroll up and down , is lagging

By

Big icon in the way

The zoho icon needs to be moveable. Also the cursor is not really usable. Check out how teamviewer does it and that’s what we need.

Absolute trash

ZohoAssist is a sad excuse for remote access. It’s always bugging and you can’t easily navigate.

I REALLY want this to work, but...

Works great as a screen share, but unable to actually control remote computer. After each session, ZohoAssist asks for feedback (which I try to provide, proving the above a observation) but feedback always fails. Very frustrating to be so close to a I great tool

Greedy beaches

If you think this is great you’ve never used remote control software before. Pitiful performance, absolute garbage design, and above all hidden limitations to force you to subscribe. Everyone wants monthly money for something you may use one a month or less frequent give the crap experience. But these guys are not up front about it. You have to contact support to ask why your app randomly disconnects by itself.

To top it all off you now have to give them your cell phone number to gain access to your account. But it doesn’t become a 2FA thing like your lead to believe. No, anyone with access to that cell phone number can simply log in to your account. So they traded the password for a cellphone number. What a bunch of incompetent idiots. Not only do they sell cell phone numbers to advertisers, but now if you lose that number or switch from it but forgot to remove it from your account - which you cannot do unless you provide another and set that one as primary - your account is now whoever’s. Top notch security model.

And here’s another beautiful thing: they had a major database leak back in May of 2019 and notified nobody about it! I was looking through the list of computers and mail software authorized to log in and found multiple different locations. No confirmation email for logins, it didn’t seem suspicious to them that in the same day someone from NY and another from GA logged on to the account. The least they could have door is invalidate all sessions and reset password for app users. But I bet you they didn’t even know they were hacked.

So, want to be a target of stupidity and privacy abuse? Use Zoho services.
