I have a problem with Cox Homelife

-The app no longer allows you to disarm specific sensors

-The app has latency issues

-The app does not save credentials during initial setup

-The app has many bugs

-Renaming devices works about 30% of the time

-The app does not give the option to disarm sensors that aren’t open at the time of arming

-The app does not allow users to create “groups” to arm and/or disarm

-The alarm sound comes only from the Home Pad so depending on where it is, you could never hear it if there was a break in

-The app does not send notices for the settings added (email/texts alerts) for specific events like arm/disarm etc.

To resolve Cox Homelife network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Force Stop the Cox Homelife App
1. On android, goto Settings » Cox Homelife » click [Force Stop]

Clear Cox Homelife App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Cox Homelife » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Cox Homelife.

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Cox Homelife » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Cox Homelife » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
