Buddies – Pet Care & Rewards Reviews

I have been throwing away these little plastic “pieces” for the last 2 years. A couple weeks ago I stopped, payed attention, and realized it was a little points program! Created our account, and now I get SO excited to open new bags of their Food because I look forward to scanning and earning points. Reminds me of getting prizes out of cereal boxes in the 80’s 😜 I have not redeemed anything yet, but looking forward to stacking up points and seeing how many we can earn!!

But Buddies still needs a lot of work. For example, it appears you can only shop for one kind of food? Am I missing something? My dog likes the food in the pink bag…small bites for adult dogs but I can’t find it. Also, what are the points for? Is there a way to redeem them for free food/treats/toys? If so, how? Buddies doesn’t explain this (or I’m missing it).

I do love that I’m able to add info about my fur baby. As she gets older I notice she gets allergies at different times of year. Nice to add info about when I get her treatments so I don’t forget each year. Also going to add when she’s been groomed and by who, as this old lady forgets everything.

If you add more features as stated above, Buddies will be pretty awesome.

We have beagles, blue ticks, and a jack Russell. All of them are working dogs and athletes. We’ve tried several different types of feed. We went back to Blue Buffalo because every one of our dogs does phenomenal with this feed. We always tell people what we feed especially when they tell us what beautiful looking dogs we have. Our jack Russell is going to be 16 in September and she is still very spry!

I love the program Buddies offers. The community is fun, allowing photos of pups/cats and offering support for animal care and record keeping. They also have a strong rewards program for using their products. To top it off, their customer service is top notch. They respond very quickly and go over and beyond to ensure satisfaction.

My 3 cats had a choice with cat food 3 different kinds and all 3!of them chose the dish with blue Buffalo in it and they left the other food go to waste and now that is the only cat food they eat I bought an automatic feeder so I can fill it up all the way to last them awhile and when my cats are happy so am I

Buddies as it is right now is okay. I get a ton of Can’t Connect notifications even though my internet is fine, and I’ll have to retry something three or more times for it to go through. Also, I thought Buddies would be Blue Buffalo’s version of a rewards program where I could buy my dog’s food straight from them for a competitive price and earn points for free food or coupons. But all the store has is a few welcome bundles I wouldn’t have any use for.

Buddies allows me to keep track of all my points and lets me redeem towards future purchases. It’s great!! My dog bolt and cat Simba also enjoy all the food and treats that I can choose from directly from Buddies . Blue buffalo will always be my first choice of pet food for my babies. Thank you

I love Buddies. On top of adding treat rewards there is a section that has help articles for puppy and dog issues. I assume cats too.
I love the section where I can add updates like vet visits and results. Weight updates and just journaling in general.
Really cool.

I really like this though I think it would be really cool if I could redeem the points to get a big bag of dog food of my choice every once in awhile. right now it’s mainly treats. I get a big bag of food every month for about $60 for my german shepherd so being able to get a few for free from earning points would be amazing.

I love Buddies already, and I’ve just downloaded it recently. One thing I would love to include is a “Fed” or “Meal” category for the timeline. It would make things much easier to mark specific diet changes or meal changes, or when meals need to be tracked due to health concerns. Otherwise, great app! Love the UI, and the ease of use.

I like the idea of the this app app, and I was excited to be able to eventually redeem points for things for my dog. It’s appears right now that you can’t only redeem your points for chicken based foods. It’s a shame because my pup is allergic to chicken. Maybe in the future they’ll expand the kibbles flavors that can be received with points.

Scanned 3 codes in 3 other bags n said already scanned, I just pulled from bottom of bag so I did it over n over n it finally said, great!
So , I toss all my other points in the trash because I thought I must have scanned, I didn’t.

after downloading and looking at the rewards list WOW we buy from the right brand. can’t wait to rack up some points for some of the free goodies🤩 love the party bundle!! y’all definitely need a bundle that is just bandannas for good dogs!!

Not only is this a great way to keep track of your points and earn different rewards that are actually needed, such as treats and food, but it’s an also a FUN way to keep a timeline of your special little pet!

I just started Buddies and I absolutely love it! My fur baby is just like one of my kids and I’m able to keep track of her medications, drs visits and everything!!! Plus all the bonus’s make it that much better!!

Early on I had a hard time finding this app scans to enter for rewards. I had to keep calling staff. Now they are coming in each bag of my dogs’ favorite foods! Thanks!

My 2 year old has been on Blue Buffalo since he was7 weeks old. We have had many GSD’s but this is the first one we’ve fed Blue to from day one. He filled out beautifully and is the most energetic we’ve had. Love Blue Buffalo

I wish this would have been around years ago!! I have only ever used blue buffalo for my pups all of their lives food treats you name it!! It’s nice now to earn some points for all the money you spend!

I just tried signing up and it says that I am not eligible. I put in my email my name my dogs birthday and that’s what he told me. I don’t understand. Blue Buffalo is all I use for my animals. Very disappointed

This program is super easy to use and does not take long to accumulate enough points to actually get a reward. Thanks for a great dog food and a way to save some money

I have already earned a free reward after using Buddies for the SECOND TIME! How can you go wrong? Top notch app packed with awesome features, from the top notch dog/cat food brand that I trust and my dogs LOVE!

My pets and I thank you for creating such a wonderful resource for pet parents.

Silly of me to not notice Buddies is put together by folks who make cat and dog food. The only two pet options you get are dogs and cats, ‘cause if you have anything else, they can’t market their products to you. If you’re looking for something that involves literally any other kind of animal, look elsewhere. This one isn’t inclusive.

Hi was setting up an account because I scanned the card found in my puppies food container and it said 12+ So I downloaded Buddies to see what it was about and I’m 13. It says I’m still not eligible to use it.

I don’t really need another app for my cat’s wellness. I take care of that through my vet. I only really downloaded Buddies for the rewards, which focus more on dogs. Too many treats in the rewards, not much food.
